It was already Sunday and most students used this day in order to recuperate from their arduous training, while Shane was running through a more difficult parkour with mana circulating through his veins.

His speed increased further through this and he sweated heavily as he evaded the obstacles seemingly without halting in his tracks.

Once he was done, he sat down on a bench that was situated near the parkour. As he looked around, he saw several dozen groups of students enjoying a picnic, eating barbeque or playing games with each other.

The sight in front of him seemed serene and peaceful. Shane couldn't help but feel that he was born in a good era when he recalled Igra's dangers with the terrifying beasts that still inhabited the planet, even after more than 200 years passed since the dimension portals had first appeared..

If one were to compare his life on Igra with his short first life on Earth, it would be obvious as to which one he preferred.

Igra was obviously more dangerous, but it also provided many more opportunities to explore other areas, get to know several races, become stronger and learn new things.

Earth in comparison was mundane, divided and filled with war and corruption.

In the end, Igra was not that much different in the latter two, as humanity was dragged in war with the dark ice elves, while there were most likely also multiple corrupt authorities or even company leaders that were manipulated by the sight of mountains of cultivation resources from other races.

However, in the end, humanity was more or less united with the same goal at hand, which was protecting Igra, while expanding their territory and creating a mana planetarium core for Igra were their next major goals.

Shane found these goals reasonable. Expanding their territory would inevitably lead to bloodshed, a fact that was common and not a rare sight on Igra.

It was still frustrating, saddening and shocking for humans to die, but the Primordial Dimensions showed humanity that life and death were intertwined with each other.

Being too greedy would either create a powerful being or a fallen hero or death without having achieved anything in their short life.

Somehow, Shane understood this, as he also dreamed of being someone worthy enough of leading humanity to something that his aunts, uncles and even father hadn't been capable of.

Shane didn't want to admit it, but even if he had suffered for several years, the training he underwent was definitely put to good use within the Primordial Dimension and if he were to choose, he would definitely do the same again.

His childhood was rather cruel, bloody, and devoid of freedom or friends, but he had his aunts and uncles to rely on, while the servants within the mansion were also kind people that Shane took to his liking.

The only things he would want to change in his childhood were the entirely useless dance balls or events he was forced to attend, because they were simply pointless and a charade in his opinion, because he could see that almost everyone who approached him put on a disguise, trying to gain his favor.

In the end, his burdensome responsibility as the president's son was not something Shane liked, as he didn't even know how youths of his age behaved under normal circumstances.

This only changed since he got to know Aimy and Olivia because they were genuinely kind, curious, gentle and straightforward to a certain extent.

Having learned how to differentiate between people who were genuinely kind and those humans that put on a facade, Shane was certain that the two were good girls!

Shane began to wonder what the two girls were up to, when he suddenly heard a familiar voice shouting his name from behind.

"Hello Shane, are you still training?" Turning around towards the direction where the voice came from, he saw Aisha wearing a white summer dress with two women in their early 20s behind her, wearing similar clothing.

However, comparing Aisha with any of them was not something one could do easily, because Aisha's fair skin and white hair were highlighted by her clothing, while her voluptuous figure was brought to light, which caused Shane to gulp involuntarily.

Shaking his head, he noticed the two young women behind Aisha glaring daggers at him, which confused him as he averted his gaze back to Aisha, answering.

"Hello Aisha!.... Yeah I'm still practicing, If I were to enter the Primordial Dimensions without adjusting my body after breaking through, it would be quite hard to survive" Smiling lightly, Shane decided to call Aisha by her first name, as she had switched to a first name basis and he only followed suit..

Apparently, the women behind Aisha noticed this and wanted to say something, but seeing that their leader didn't bother about this minor thing, they stayed put.

While he looked at the women behind her, Aisha seized his cultivation and praised him unintentionally.

"Not bad! You only took a week to break into the 3rd Apprentice stage from the peak Mortal stage."

Still smiling, they looked into each other's eyes and Shane couldn't help but feel weird, as her silver-whitish eyes bewitched him. He subconsciously mumbled "beautiful" before he noticed that he said it out loud instead of in his mind, causing him to frown lightly, and he added "oops!"

However instead of being angry, Aisha only continued to smile at him, while one of the young women behind him couldn't take it anymore, and she shouted

"Not only are you being impolite to our captain who is one of humanity's prodigies, but you're also harassing her now! Who the hell do you think you are to do something like this?"

Hearing this, the other young woman next to her who was initially also enraged looked at her friend weirdly and frowned

'What era are you living in, Kara?!'

Aisha who had heard Kara shout out, couldn't help but frown at these words, as she turned around with a frustrated and annoyed look

"Kara?! I think you want to remain the vice-captain of the Valkyrie unit with Vera, or am I wrong? Is this the way to talk?... If you didn't notice it, I started to speak with him first, why are you even butting in?"

Seeing Aisha slightly enraged was something new for the two vice-captains. They quietly followed Aisha to the Shirai academy in order to have some free time with the other Valkyries before the expedition would start. Vera who had been walking beside Kara hesitantly asked Aisha

"Captain, are you okay?"

However, rather than giving an answer, Aisha ignored the question and turned back to Shane, and approached him.

Meanwhile, Shane was confused by the sudden outburst of the two girls with shoulder-length brown hair, as he muttered to himself.

'I'm John Stella's son and Lars Kriez, your highest superior, is my uncle!' Fortunately enough, he didn't say it out loud, because it would be annoying if others were to figure this out and in order to prevent bootlickers harassing him, he refrained from saying so.

However, the thought alone was enough for him to chuckle lightly, which Aisha noticed, and she sighed in relief that Shane didn't take her subordinate seriously.

In the end, even if Shane tried to stay hidden for whatever reason, he was still John Stella's son and someone extremely important to her Uncle Lars, who had raised him.

If she were to compare Uncle Lars' love for her and Shane, there would probably be no definite answer, as to who he would pick.

As such, she wanted to build a friendly relationship with Shane which would have worked out perfectly fine, if Kara, the vice-captain of her Valkyrie unit, hadn't been so narrow-minded.

Aisha still approached Shane, who continued chuckling, as he shook his head, saying

"Don't bother about it, at least she's loyal to you, right?"

Hearing this, Aisha immediately smiled brightly, and replied: "Yes you're right, she is a good vice-captain who takes care of everyone, even if she takes it too far sometimes."

Nodding his head, Shane was about to leave in order to continue his training, as Aisha suddenly offered

"Do you want to have a go with us? We'll have a picnic and barbeque afterward?"

Now, even Vera halted in her steps and despite all her love and open-mindedness, she could not understand her captain anymore.

"Are you sure that you are alright?" She whispered, as she followed Aisha, who looked as if she would push herself on Shane, who already retreated a few steps, as he pondered.

'Can't I just try to comprehend my Slaughterer's path technique?! Or even practicing my weaponry proficiency would be enough….'

Sighing deeply, he was about to deny Aisha, as a sudden idea clicked in his mind!

Looking deep into Shane's eyes, he noticed his desire, causing her to halt in her tracks, as Shane walked towards her with bright shining eyes, and asked

"Can anyone of you manifest bloodlust?!"

Shane stood directly in front of her, barely a few steps away and stared straight into her eyes. He asked her a rather unexpected question, causing her to utter

"Huh?"
