Shane panted heavily as he lifted himself from the ground.

"You can still continue? Great!"

Hearing this, he almost vomited, but instead of complaining, Shane grasped the Sword of Blood, Mydra, with a firm grip as he looked straight into Aisha's eyes.

She had been standing next to Frer and Miriam, who were looking at him in pity as if they knew what was going to happen.

More than thirty days had passed, and Shane had decided to refine his physique on Igra instead of Masua, where the supply of mana would have been several times higher.

This had several reasons, but the biggest was that he needed someone to spar with! In his opinion, it would be best if this someone was a lot stronger than him.

Nevertheless, it was only when Shane found out that neither Aisha, Frer nor Miriam were supposed to leave Igra right now that he immediately asked them for their support.

The meeting of races that had survived the Overlord beast tides was merely days away and the strongest human prodigies had been instructed to not request system missions if possible due to the possibility of receiving a mission with a time limit.

Thus, the three young women hadn't accepted a single mission which they would have done, if not for the basic dimensional races' gathering.

Their strength had almost reached the pinnacle of the Basic Primordial Dimensions, and they were only one successful mission away from attaining the highest possible state they would ever reach in the Basic Dimensions.

Unfortunately, all three had failed the mission to attain a mana purity of 100%, but that was something nobody had been able to request, let alone complete it successfully.

At least, Shane had never heard the news of someone achieving such a feat, though it didn't mean that it couldn't happen!

Yet, instead of idling, the girls decided to help Shane improve his combat prowess as much as possible after he  told them that he'd procured the perfect refining manual for the Expert stage physique!

On one hand, it had astonished them, but on the other hand, they felt as if Shane was far from being satisfied.

This didn't even change after he had reached the perfect mastery of both his current techniques.

While the [Slaughterer's Path] technique was only a Tier-1 technique, its comprehension was extremely difficult and it could reach a much higher output than most Tier-2 martial art techniques as long as the bloodlust-killing-intent was profound enough!

The [Light steps] technique on the other hand was a great Tier-2 movement technique, and less difficult to learn than the Slaughterer's Path technique!

Nevertheless, Shane couldn't shake off the growing feeling of nervousness that had been gnawing at him for the last few days.

He had heavily invested into refining his body, yet he was only confident to reach the perfect state of a 4th Expert in the next few days.

In the end, he had estimated that he might be able to barely reach the 6th Expert stage of a perfect physique on the day of the basic race gathering that was to be held 20 days after the trials.

Yet, Shane wondered whether his current strength was enough to be at par with the other human prodigies who were about to liquefy their mana to enter the Intermediate Dimension!

With his tamed beasts, this was not a problem, but relying on them on every single occasion was also not what Shane desired.

The trials to attend the basic race gathering would begin soon, yet, Shane was unable to determine his current strength.

Miriam, Aisha, and Frer tried to reassure him that he was doing fine, considering that he had not even turned 18, but that was not how he felt.

Even though he had yet to turn 18, the time he had spent inside the Primordial Dimensions was almost two years.

If he hadn't accepted the Hidden-Universal mission, he might have attained higher combat prowess by now, but it was nothing he could change now.

Rather, the time he had spent searching for the culprits of the Overlord beast tides hadn't been a futile effort because everyone was able to figure out the most dangerous opponents.

While the Miac race was considered as the most dangerous threat inside the radiant mountain ring dimension, the Dark Ice Elves that had annexed the Miac race a long time ago could be said to be the main culprit.

If the Dark Ice Elves wanted to conquer the radiant mountain ring dimension, there had to be something special about it.

This also meant that every race would have to fend off the attacks of a mighty Intermediate race, which was definitely not something most races wanted to do.

Thus, many races decided to retreat and abandon their shelter instead of offending an Intermediate race that could obliterate them once the exact location of their origin planet had been found out.

Other than that, they could also hire someone who would find out every single dimension wherein they had established a shelter.

WIth that, they would start conquering every dimension, until a race would have been exhausted and tired of fighting against an invincible opponent.

This was only the worst-case outcome and there were many races that had decided to fight against those who wanted to destroy them.

As such, the remaining races at the basic race gathering were firm in their decision to establish a temporary alliance with each other in order to destroy the Miac alliance.

After that, they would have enough time to finally figure out the importance of the radiant mountain ring dimension!

Shane could tell that everyone had realized that something very important, except the valuable resources they had already found, was inside the dimension.

Thus, he had exploited his Astral Artisans' permission that allowed them to build the RadiantRing shelter!

The entire shelter had almost been erected, and there was only one, large and reinforced building, they had to complete!

Even the mana distortion platform had already arrived and placed in the center of the shelter.

But that was not what caused Shane to smile foolishly.

Not only was the shelter nearing completion, which meant that the Astral Artisans would receive their payment soon, but Shane had ordered them to build a large mansion for the Starlight guild!

He had already discussed this with the government and they would have to deduct the basic prices for a piece of land inside a shelter, instead of an expensive land parcel inside a highly secured, three-layer wall shelter with more than 20 perfectly constructed Greater Astral towers inside!

Other than that, there were hundreds of Unique ballistae, several tens of thousand magic bolts, and the number of mana-sphere crossbows that were carefully stored inside the warehouse was even larger!

From the aforementioned items alone, the Astral Artisans were confident of earning more than 25 million gold coins!

After adding his own finances, they were still short of less than 10 million gold coins to awaken the Hidden Paradise's mana heart!

Sighing deeply, Shane couldn't help but think that Aisha was merciless, however, that was something he liked about her!

Not only was she merciless when it came to sparring, but at the same time, she clearly showed him every single flaw he had, without many issues at that!

Other than that, practicing with Miriam was also interesting, because he hadn't fought against many element users during the last few years.

In the end, he had to mostly rely on his physical strength because he had yet to choose an occupation.

Nevertheless, his agility and flexibility were already high enough to cope with most attacks.

Unfortunately, this only included Miriam's weakened attacks and it would have been a different matter altogether if she were to attack him seriously.

Yet, Shane was also holding back and not utilizing much of his bloodlust-killing-intent or any mana from the Hidden Paradise, but he was still giving his best!

**

Four days later the day of the trials was finally upon them which made him feel hopeful and a little nervous. He received a message from Talia who notified him that the shelter was finally completed.

A bright smile emerged on his face, and the three young women who had spent the last month with Shane in order to spar with him and each other looked at him in confusion, only to hear him exclaim in joy,

"Finally! It's payment time!"
