Chapter 413: Soul world

Nobody knew what the future would look like, but Shane received unwavering support from the Astral Starlight faction members.

As such, everyone followed his instructions without questioning them.

There were only a total of three tasks the members of the Astral Starlight faction had to pay attention to!

These tasks were to work hard to earn more funds, to increase their mana purity as fast as possible, and to stay alive by all means in order to witness a bright future, built by everyone in the faction.

In the end, the first two tasks were obvious as funds were a basic necessity Shane required to purchase the best possible Mana heart awakening in addition to several other things, while the increase in mana purity was something that should help the others for the future.

Nobody knew whether or not they could obtain mana purification manuals once the system was to collapse.

As such, one had to do as many system missions as possible!

Meanwhile, the last task Shane had given them was the most crucial; nobody was allowed to die.

Even if some wouldn't be able to work as much as others, or were unable to procure high-quality mana purification manuals, everyone inside the Astral Starlight faction was important to Shane.

Death was to be prevented at all costs!

Furthermore, in order to achieve the most efficient solution, Shane had wanted his faction to work together in perfect sync.

This was only logical, but some members of the guild had still issues trusting Artisans with their life. Artisans were deemed useless when it came to their combat strength and ability to support others in a fight which was the reason for them to be doubtful.

Despite being deemed useless, Shane knew of many skills that could help others provide support, while they had even increased their proficiency with martial art techniques!

Shane himself had yet to choose an occupation and was no different compared to non-combat occupations as his strength hadn't been amplified with the specific occupations he would select in the near future.

It wouldn't take long before the Lesser forest spirit soul would attain perfect loyalty as it was already extremely close to this feat.

An entire month had passed since Shane had held a gathering with his faction members, and the Lesser forest spirit had finally reached the [Mystic] quality, reaching its racial limit.

He was still unable to see its evolution paths and neither did he know when it would hatch, but he felt as if it wouldn't take long.

It was exciting to mull over what kinds of evolutions the lesser forest spirit may choose as its [Mystic] path, and Shane's hopes were high.

Nevertheless, he had to focus on his main task, which was the mana heart awakening he had chosen for the Hidden Paradise.

Initially, he had decided to give the Hidden Paradise a mana heart awakening with the [Soul growth] ability, stating that it would grow with Shane's soul.

As a matter of fact, this was something he didn't fully understand, and Shane was only aware of the fact that said mana heart had regulations and a limit!

Because of that and the multitude of discounts Shane had accumulated, he wanted to choose the most expensive mana heart awakening that would allow him to reap the most benefits.

Thankfully, the perfect mana heart awakening had been found for the Hidden Paradise, hidden behind thousands of exquisite goods in the [Unique goods] column.

[[Soul world awakening] Metamorphs the planetary core of a planet into a <soul world core> which metamorphs the entire planet into a soul world whose growth and abilities are correlated to the host's strength! (...)

Does the host want to purchase the |Soul world awakening|?

[Yes/No]]

There were many interesting things Shane had been able to find out, but by far, the most important was the fact that the soul world core would grow with his own increase in strength.

This was something exceptional, and he hoped that there wouldn't be any problems if he were to purchase the soul world awakening because nowhere was its ability to generate mana was clearly stated.

In the end, the description was extremely long, and a few phrases said that mana could be generated within a soul world, as well as other energies, but Shane didn't really understand the latter part.

Nevertheless, knowing that it was possible to generate mana, even if it would turn out differently than he expected, there was no problem with it.

Even if he were to run into some problems with that, Shane felt that choosing the soul world awakening was the best he could do.

Others might question this because the previous plan had been tweaked and he had purchased the soul world awakening without hesitating any further.

This drained him of all the funds he and his faction had accumulated, and Shane now only had a total of 120 Supreme tickets left.

With them, he would be able to purchase other necessities, but that was not important for now.

He had just purchased the soul world awakening that was immediately transferred to the Hidden Paradise.

Apparently, this would take a few days before he could initiate the soul world awakening process.

This gave Shane more than enough time to figure out whether the soul world had any restrictions he had to pay attention to or not.

At the same time, he could figure out more about the 'Argan' bloodline that seemed to have something to do with being a human, yet at the same time, looked a bit different.

That was, at least, what Shane's gut feeling told him!

He had never heard of this bloodline or another race that was correlated to the human race.

However, that didn't mean something like this didn't exist!

Another requirement had been that it was necessary to possess a soul bound world, which meant that a normal planet couldn't undergo the soul world awakening.

This was interesting, but Shane could only shrug his shoulders at the unusual criterion.

He did not know anything, and his gut feeling was more than enough for him to trust the decision he had made.

As such, there was no further issue with the purchase Shane had done, and everything would return to normal soon.

At least, that was what Shane was hoping for.

Unfortunately, everything was bound to become more chaotic and difficult than it had already been!

Earlier, most of the humans held back from voicing out their own greed because mankind was flourishing, but this had changed in the last few months because the entire situation with the human race, the Primordial Dimensions, and the system was going downhill.

Because of that, many of the strongest clans and families that saw John Stella and his circle of friends as a nuisance had begun plotting to overthrow the government, forcing them to leave.

As such, Shane's family had been thrown out of the government as they didn't retaliate by using force which would have worsened the entire situation.

As if that was not enough, the tensions were escalating further as the foreign races' influence seemed to be on the rise.

All-in-all, Shane couldn't help but become frustrated about the fact that mankind was split apart instead of working hard to overcome the hurdle together as he and his faction were doing.

It was only when John Stella and the rest had appeared in front of the Astral Starlight faction's nurturing ground that Shane couldn't help but sigh, thinking that his family was trying something stupid.

He had many things to do with his faction and did not really have time to spend with his family, but it was evident that there had been a hidden reason for them to step down from their respective positions in the government without retaliation.

Thus, the moment he opened the doors for his family, they threw information at him, overwhelming Shane as everyone was speaking at the same time.

This caused him to look at them in dumbfounding and it was Aunt Kia who spoke first.

"We may have found the perfect planet to inhabit!!"
