Chapter 85: Apocalypse: My Tyrant Brother (4)
Translator: Guy Gone Bad
Although he didn’t like her, he still stood out to stop Captain Sun slapping her again. And judging from his words, he was actually taking the blame for what she had done.

No matter what, he took his responsibility as a her elder brother.

She was wronged though, no one would believe her.

Xia Liang made a quick judgment in her mind. Xia Min was a cold and indifferent brother though, he was a person she could rely on at some critical moments.

As for whether he liked her or nor, just let it be!

As long as she stayed with her and made sure he was alive.

It was not good if they were too close.

It suddenly reminded Xia Liang of Ji Yue. Since they were too intimate, so they had to… Alas, not in good mood.

At that time, she was pulled up violently, which stopped Xia Liang from thinking.

“Thank you.” Said Xia Liang to Xia Min who let go of her arm.

Her voice was clear and amusing, nonchalant and calm, not a clue of crying at all.

Xia Min felt strange at her reaction, lowering her head and behaving too well.

From this angle, he happened to see her side face very clearly. Her pale face became swollen now and had a print of five fingers on.

Xia Min frowned because the finger print hurt his feeling.

Was she scared of the slap? So she learned to behave? Why was he so quiet?

Xia Min was not the only one. The others all thought Xia Liang might beg Xia Min for mercy or even make a scene.

“Xia Liang, you are so abnormally quiet. You’d better not cook some evil plan. If you do anything harmful to us again, I will throw you to the monsters, regardless of your brother.” Ye Fei threatened, pointing at Xia Liang.

He was worried that Xia Liang might be plotting against them because she was too quiet. So he threatened her first to force her to behave.

“Ye Fei is right. If you do the same thing again, we won’t go easy on you!” Dong Jun echoed immediately, looking at Xia Liang fiercely.

Giving a look at Ye Fei and Dong Ju, Xia Min didn’t speak for Xia Liang this time. He just turned away and walked outside the tent.

As long as Xia Liang’s life was not threatened, Xia Min didn’t care if they yelled or threatened her.

He had no other feelings for this sister but responsibility.

If it had not been for his mother who ordered him to take her with him, he wouldn’t have watched her at all.

“Do you want me to make a scene?” asked Xia Liang to Ye Fei while looking up at him, frowning.

Ye Fei got choked by his question. But he thought Xia Liang was provoking him on purpose. When he was about to lose his temper, Xia Liang said calmly, “The monsters will come again at any time. We shouldn’t waste our energy on fighting each other.”

Ye Fei, “…”

Ye Fei’s face turned red out of anger.

“It is all your fault. If you hadn’t broken the emergency light, we…” Ye Fei came forward and was about to seize Xia Liang’s collar to teach her a lesson.

Xia Liang stepped backward to easily avoid the incoming attack and stay distance from him. “I didn’t break the light. Now that it’s broken, it’s no use to kill me.” Said Xia Liang calmly.

“You! You!”

“How dare you quibble for youself? Admit your mistake now!”

"Unrepentant!”

Others joined him and yelled at her even louder because she acted like she made no mistake at all. It was even worse than her making a scene through crying.

Xia Liang didn’t bother to keep listening to those accusations, instead, she turned around quickly and strode outside the tent.

They still had a long night to go through. Now it was nearly middle night. Since there was no emergency light, she had to find another source of light so that they could stay alive through the night.

These people, in Xia Liang’s eyes, were only some “little sheep” labeling with points. Although they were quite noisy, she wouldn’t allow the monsters to carry them off.
