Lu Cheng held Su Jiang's business card in her hand, and she looked at it emotionlessly.
She sighed out loud. It wasn't like she had any other choices. She had better try it out ad hope for the best. She dialed the number and waited for someone to pick up.
It wasn't long before a fierce voice picked up.
"Hello and thank you for calling Orture. How may I help you and make your experience the best that it can be?" She droned on. Lu Cheng could tell she had those lines memorized after saying them so much.
"Ummm can I speak with Su Jiang?" Lu Cheng asked.
"Do you have an appointment?" The voice turned colder.
"No but-" Lu Cheng tried to explain how Su Jiang told her to call but it seemed the receptionist was not having it at all.
"Then I do not have permission to send you to that line," She said professionally. She had become so accustomed to people giving the same excuse and wouldn't be so gullible to fall for it again.
"It's fine then," Lu Cheng sighed. It looked like she wouldn't be getting through to Su Jiang that easily. She sighed in her mind. Well it was worth a shot.
She was about to hang up when she heard a familiar voice in the background.
"Sister-in-law, is that you?" Su Hong shouted with excitement. His voice was a bit scratchy, but his joy was very clear.
"Eh? Sister-in-law?" Lu Cheng repeated in great confusion. Did she just hear correctly? Sister-in-law? Was this Su Hong going insane or was it just her?"
"Oh good! It is you, sister-in-law!" Su Hong heaved a heavy breath of relief.
It seemed that his saving grace had finally arrived. He was wondering when Lu Cheng was going to call. It had already been a day and he feared that, if she didn't call soon, all of Orture's employees would have kicked the bucket before they could be saved.
"What took you so long to call? Su Jiang almost worked us to death in restlessness!" Su Hong whined.
The receptionist, now a spectator, had been shocked to her very core. Sister-in-law? What was this? Su Hong's only brother was Su Jiang... Did their emotionless CEO finally take in a woman? These were some worldly revelations!
Only if she knew the truth, Su Jiang was chasing after a woman, she would have fainted from shock. It was better for things like this to stay hidden or many people would die from disbelief.
"Forget it! At least you're here now! I'll put you on Su Jiang's line," Su Hong quickly said, transferring her to Su Jiang's cellphone.
Lu Cheng was still unable to react to her new title of sister-in-law. Since when was she married to Su Jiang? She hadn't remembered such an event occurring at all!!! Was her mind playing tricks on her?

Right in the middle of one company's presentation, a phone rang out loudly, disrupting the presentation. All of the company representatives sneered in secret, taking great joy in the misfortune in others. They knew Su Jiang despised when something disturbed a presentation, expecially a phone.
Whoever's phone it was, they had just ruined their chances of a glorious partnership with Orture.
Right when they all expected for one another to pull out a phone with an embarrassed and dejected grimace, they saw Su jiang hold up his phone.
They exchanged looks with each other, thoroughly shocked. Who dared call Su Jiang in the middle of a meeting?
Su Jiang picked up, and asked coldly, "Who is this?"
A soft and embarrassed responded, "Oh it's the security guard that you gave the business card to. I hope I'm not interrupting anything."
Su Jiang's suffocating and kingly aura softened and a gentle and loving one replaced it.
It was like the demon king that was incomparably ruthless suddenly became a benevolent angel. The members of the conference didn't know what type of person could make this merciless devil bow down.
"No, you're not interrupting anything," The corners of Su Jiang's lips curved up with obsession and desire. He ignored the shocked gazes of the people around him and smiled widely.
