However, we must be careful not to corner this country too much. If we make enemies of all the believers of the Crimeana faith worldwide, things could get complicated. It may be considered a good achievement on Mei’s part to have landed the situation somewhat gracefully while preserving Crimeana’s dignity to some extent.

“They went back to Krumfar before us.”
“Should we prepare their dinner as well?”
“Yes, please, Peyris.”
“Understood.”
“We should make extra.”
Saying so, we finished our dinner. Then, I asked Peyris to take care of the rest and headed to the bath with Mei. I washed her hand that had been kissed by Nic with great care, making sure to clean every nook and cranny.

“Is it too much? Then, let’s stop. Mei will get mad, and when you scolded the Yomuan Kingdom people at the cathedral, I got pretty scared too.”

Also… Vice Director Darina… let her take some time off. So much has happened. Going back to the demanding research immediately would be physically and mentally challenging.”
The bishop bowed respectfully as the Pope spoke to him with his usual gentle tone.
“And call Vieru and Kassel.”

“I apologize for calling you out at this late hour. I wanted to inform you of the special assignment, which has been decided upon.”
Upon hearing the term “special assignment,” the faces of the two brightened up.
“Both of you will depart three months from now. Please make the necessary preparations. Your mission will be in the Agarta Kingdom. It is the capital where King Agarta resides. There, guide the people of Agarta to the Heavenly Path.”
Both of them couldn’t hide their excitement and gave a quick, lively bow.
Seeing their reaction, the Pope gazed at them with satisfaction.
“King Agarta has heard Crimeana-sama’s divine voice. We must guide Agarta country, which is blessed by Crimeana-sama, to the Heavenly Path. There seem to be many around the King who deviate from the Heavenly Path. Now is the time to lead both King Agarta and Agarta country to the Heavenly Path. Do you both understand?”
