It Really Hurts (4)

Using her senses, the light element controlled by the holy healing technique jumped at her wound, in harmony with the dark element controlled by the demon, like water and milk. Her flesh gradually healed, and the pain was only about one-tenth of the previous level, which was completely tolerable to her.

This process lasted nearly twenty minutes.

During this period, there were demonic creatures without brains who tried to come over to “hunt”, and Rothgarr sent a blow over without even turning his head. After there were around five or six demonic creature carcasses surrounding them, no other demonic creature dared approach them.

Rothgarr saw that Anna had stopped the healing process and retracted his hand. Under the torn blood-stained cloth, the hideous wound was gone. Her fair new skin looked like it could be broken by a breath, and looking further down, there was a slight seductive curve.

Rothgarr’s eyes stayed there for a second, and when he realized what it was, he immediately looked away, got up and took off his mage robe and threw it on Anna.

Anna was caught off guard by the mage robe, she took off the still warm mage robe, glanced at the location of her wound, and immediately understood what the demon meant.

She thought with malice in her heart that he had a reaction when he heard her voice like that before. This time, he saw half of her chest. She wondered if he would have such a reaction as well?

Reacting to a human woman one after another, let’s see if he was angry!

Thinking that the demon might be sulking, Anna was not angry at all, and even a little gloating, she obediently put on the large mage robe and covered herself tightly.

The location of the wound was actually still a little bit painful, but it was fine if she didn’t pay attention to it.

It took a lot of mental energy to treat such a serious wound with Holy Healing. Anna was now in a state where her mental energy was almost exhausted. She lifted up the long mage robe to avoid tripping. She walked to the demon and sincerely thanked him, “Thank you for saving me, Raymond.”

Rothgarr’s mood was a little impetuous at the moment, and he smiled sarcastically: “Then are you going to use your body to repay me?”

Anna was stunned for a moment, realizing what he meant was asking her to agree to his marriage proposal. She ridiculed, “Let’s not”

“Pretentious.” Rothgarr sneered unsurprisingly.

Anna just smiled embarrassedly. If he called her pretentious then so be it… It was better than losing her life and soul.

Rothgarr didn’t know why he was upset at the moment. Seeing Anna’s face still pale and standing there, he was getting more and more upset.

“Can you still use magic?” Rothgarr asked impatiently.

Anna tested it and shook her head: “My mental power is almost exhausted.”

She had fought a giant centipede before, and when captured by the three-headed demonic eagle, kept trying to hit it with spells. Coupled with the super-long holy healing technique just now, there was really not a drop left.

Rothgarr didn’t say anything. He held Anna’s waist, bent over and placed his hands under her knees, picking her up easily.

“Why are you lighter than slime?” Rothgarr said casually, and reminded her, “Hold tight.”

Then he manipulated the wind element again and took off from the line of life and death.

Anna: “…”

Comparing her to slime, what was wrong with him!

Anna grabbed tightly onto the clothes of the demon’s chest, and suddenly thought of something, and asked quickly, “Wait, are there any tasks that want the corpses of those demonic creatures just now?” This was the reality of being poor.

Rothgarr, who slowed down because of Anna’s “Wait”: “…….No!”

Anna couldn’t quite match the demonic creatures and their names, and didn’t remember all the quests. When the demon gritted his teeth and said no, she couldn’t tell the truth from the fake, so she had to take it as real.

While running, Rothgarr suddenly remembered something. He slowed down a little, and said maliciously, “Leon didn’t come to save you.”

The demon’s hand was very stable. Anna felt very comfortable in his arms, plus she was actually a little drowsy from the exhaustion just now. Hearing his words, she said vaguely: “Oh… he must be protecting Natalie.”

Instead of letting Leon and the demon come to rescue her, she would rather Leon protect Natalie. The demon alone could save her; she couldn’t leave Natalie in a dangerous place like the line of life and death.

Then she fell asleep.

Hearing this answer, Rothgarr was very upset.

Again with Natalie!

Rothgarr ran into Leon not long after he left the line of life and death. Leon took some time escorting Natalie to the carriage. After delivering Natalie there, he came immediately.

Seeing Anna who was motionless and pale in Rothgarr’s arms, Leon’s throat tightened and he reached out to touch Anna, but Rothgarr turned to the side, avoiding his hand.

“Anna is fine.” Rothgarr sneered, his eyes full of malice, “You weren’t there when I rescued her. You don’t have to be there when she wakes up.”

Seeing Leon’s face sinking, Rothgarr was instantly relieved, and smiled again: “You really should have seen the way Anna looked at me when she saw me coming to save her.” He licked his lips, as if remembering the aftertaste, “You will never know how sweet her lips are.”

Leon looked at Rothgarr silently. Only the coldness in his eyes let him know that Leon had heard everything.

Rothgarr gave a victorious smile and strode past Leon.
