Master (2)

She was very annoyed, but seeing that the time was almost up, she didn’t dare to ask any more questions. She patted Gray Gray’s head, praised it for managing the plantation and breeding garden well, and encouraged it to keep up the good work.

Gray Gray was overjoyed, and ran quickly to dig the ground. It expanded the planting area a bit. When Anna came to see it, she always felt that it had been digging the ground, and she was very dedicated.

Not long after Anna returned to the study, Rothgarr appeared at the door. She didn’t pay too much attention to him, and instead continued to read her books.

Later that day, Anna saw a book that made her eyes light up. This book mainly recorded some very rare spells, and some of them had to be cast with elemental ores. Wasn’t that a good reason?

However, she thought that Rothgarr must know of a way where she was able to activate the teleportation portal. It was still too obvious for her to directly say that she needed mixed elemental ores.

Anna was still uncertain about Rothgarr’s current state. She could say that he lost his intelligence, but when she said in the beginning that she wanted him to activate the teleportation portal for her, he knew in an instant that she wanted to run away, and he was unwilling to obey. And sometimes, the expressions in his eyes would make her feel wary, as if he was hiding something. But to say that his intelligence did not decrease, he was too obedient, besides, of course, him getting intimate with her. Even if he wanted to take things a step further, she only needed to tell him to stop, and he really would.

Because of this situation, Anna never lost her vigilance when interacting with Rothgarr. She felt like he would return to his original state at any time, or, who knew if he was pretending and just playing with her. She had it so difficult….

Anyway, it seemed that her worst possible option in finding a way to return to the human realm would not result in her death. Anna was naturally willing to try on the premise of being the most cautious.

Another day later, Anna repeated her old tricks, gaining some time to find Gray Gray. She asked it again about the location of the mixed elemental ore.

Because Gray Gray couldn’t speak, it took a lot of time before Anna finally learned that the ore was located in a mine and guarded by a group of very ferocious demonic creatures. Regardless, she did not want to go there alone.

In the end, Anna could only ask Rothgarr for his help.

With Rothgarr’s strength, activating the teleportation portal would definitely not require an array, so maybe he forgot about the existence of the array? If that was the case, then he definitely would not know her real purpose of needing the mixed elemental ore.

Therefore, Anna picked up the spell book she was reading the day before, and motioned to Rothgarr.

Rothgarr walked over immediately.

Anna waved the spell book in front of Rothgarr and said, “There are a few spells in this book that I can learn, but I need ores. Can you take me to get some?”

It stood to reason that the mine Gray Gray mentioned must have been a mixed mineral mine which contained all kinds of ores. Who knew, she might be able to secretly obtain a mixed elemental ore without Rothgarr noticing.

Rothgarr smiled and said: “I can protect Master; Master does not have to work so hard.”

Anna said, “But I like to learn.”

Rothgarr frowned, the expression in his eyes as he looked at the spell book a little dangerous. What Master liked the most wasn’t him, but magic.

Anna retracted her hand and hid the spell book behind her, looking at him vigilantly: “What do you want to do with this book?”

The look in Rothgarr’s eyes when he was looking at the book just now was so scary. She was really afraid that he would destroy the book without saying a word. It was not like he hadn’t done that before!

Anna immediately warned: “Don’t you think about doing anything to my book, because otherwise, don’t even think about getting a reward from me again…..or punishment!”

Rothgarr looked back regretfully and said in a low voice, “Master, please rest assured, I won’t make Master angry.”

Anna couldn’t help thinking, was she not angry when she was taken advantage of by him in the past? It was obviously useless for her to be angry, so she had to pretend that she wasn’t angry at all.

She didn’t care to argue with this cursed demon. She raised the spell book in her hand again and said, “Then can you take me to find the ore now?”

“What kind does Master need?” asked Rothgarr. “I have quite a few here.”

Anna was stunned. Were there really some in the castle? She remembered that she had looked at the entire castle before, and didn’t find any ores… No, she didn’t look at his room carefully before.

“Let me see.” Anna decided to look at his collection first.

Rothgarr really took Anna to his room. In the corner of the room was a chest large enough to hold two Annas. The box was unremarkable and didn’t look like a treasure chest at all, but when Rothgarr opened it, Anna couldn’t help but take in a breath.

Glistening and gleaming……….even if she wasn’t a dragon, she still really liked this kind of luster!

There were some gold coins in the box, but the era they were from was unknown. The engravings on the gold coins were not the same; perhaps they were from different countries.

In addition to the small amount of gold coins, there were a variety of different ores.

Anna’s eyes swept across the treasure chest, and quickly searched for the mixed element ore she wanted, but, at least on the upper level, there was none.

She opened the spell book that she had brought with her, and pretended to search according to the requirements of the spells in the book. She quickly found three pieces of ore, then closed the box and said to Rothgarr, who had been watching her all the time: “That’s good for now, I’ll practice with these first.”

Anna walked out with the spell book and ores, but was hugged from behind by Rothgarr. He whispered in her ear, “Is Master learning these spells for the purpose of being able to survive in the demon realm without me?”

Anna was taken aback, and quickly denied: “No, why do you think so?” What she said was not a lie, after all, she wanted to return to the human realm, not to survive in the demon realm.

Rothgarr’s voice was a little dull: “Otherwise, with me here, no one can hurt Master. Why do you have to learn these spells?”

Anna somehow thought of Catherine.

Without power, she could not make her own choices. She even had to rely on the strength of others to take her revenge.

She didn’t want to be like that.
