When she reached Arthur's side, the woman took his hand. With a bright smile, she said, "You certainly can't see me going far or marrying another man, can you?"
She spoke clearly so that the students they happened to pass by heard including Carla who was following behind.
Arthur glanced at her and replied, "perhaps if that prince gives me something I like, I wouldn't mind sending you to him as a gift."

Arthur and Bella stopped their steps simultaneously because they were suddenly confronted by a group of men who unfortunately looked bad because some parts of their bodies were still bandaged.

She took a breath and chanted a spell in a low voice that was barely audible.

Suddenly a very strong wind appeared right beside Alex and the others, startling the people.
In the north, especially in the fall, sudden winds were not unusual, but certainly not in the schoolyard which was a fairly sheltered location due to the surrounding buildings.
Alex and his followers panicked a bit because the wind was too strong, almost pushing their bodies.
