I can understand why an innocent maiden like her was taken in by his devious words. After all, he must have gotten closer to her just to hug your thighs, haha. But a young boy like him surely underestimates seniors like you and us as if we couldn't see through his schemes."
Herwin Clive smirked inwardly, thinking that such a heavenly beauty should not belong to his son only. He was now even ready to face his father-in-law's wrath even if his wife knew his intentions.
Valentina gave a side glare at Herwin Clive, whose smile stiffened when he felt her glare. She looked away and closed her eyes as if she couldn't stare at such a disgusting person any longer.
Harvey Rivers inwardly felt jealous of the Clive Family for being able to hog Valentina all to themselves.
In case Roy Clive and Valentina became a thing, then not only would they have an extremely beautiful prodigy join their family but also strengthen their relations with the eminent Alchemist Azrael.
He felt like he was the only one losing out here. But then he thought about how his daughter was at least going to gain a limited version of a Supreme Tier Pill and took satisfaction at that. At least he was only getting benefits out of this situation.
Damien cleared his throat and beckoned Roy and Dennisa towards him, "Come, Roy Clive and Dennisa Rivers, let me bestow you two with a gift."
Dennisa and Roy looked at each other and stepped forward with excitement sparkling in their eyes. They wondered if Damien was going to give them some breakthrough or healing pill as those were the ones cultivators mostly needed.
