"You can eat however you want, no one would judge you here"

Knight saw the tigress was trying to mimic his table etiquette as she tried to eat using her paws like Knight but she simply couldn't do it.

"Alright"

The aroma was too strong for the tigress to resist. Just as Knight said, no one looked at her differently like she expected and because of that, she started to dig in with a smile.

"We were able to find the name of one guy who dealt with the salesgirl in Luther and Granner"

The bloodstains that Arrora saw in Luther and Granner had already turned into some shady case as the salesgirl who worked in the showroom suddenly disappeared. Don wouldn't have put his nose into the matter if not for Arrora begged him to look into it. Arrora put herself into the shoes of the girl who might be caged like she was and prayed for help because Arrora's instincts told her to look into the matter since she might have the power to save the person in trouble.

"Can you track him?"

Knight asked doubtfully because this was a cold case from the beginning and it was a big thing that they were able to find clues in this case at all.

"We'll do our best"

Joel and Arwen said at the same time as Arrora seemed a little gloomy hearing their answer but she knew that they would do their best to find the girl.

While talking with them, Don felt extremely exhausted as he finished his salad and juice.

"Amaryll, give them a room to live in the castle, I'll see you in the morning"

"Are you alright, Don?"

Reghys had never seen him exhausted as he looked very tired.

"Yeah, I'm just tired"

"Rest well, your majesty"

"There be nothing better than a warm bed after a hearty meal"

None of them seemed suspicious of Don's sudden fatigue but Reghys was a dragon and she had sensed something amiss in his body.

After a while, everyone licked the plates clean as Amaryll stood up looking at the tigress

"Come, we'll show you around and have a girls time in the steel chick"

The golden and the white cub were currently standing on Amaryll's shoulders as the white one jumped onto Arrora's shoulder.

"Hey, give him to me"

Amaryll pouted at Arrora but Arrora shook her head and rubbed the white cub's head as the cub licked her face.

"Her"

The tigress said.

"White is a girl and those two are lads"

"We need to give you new names asap"

Amaryll giggled and led Arrora and the tigress outside to give the tigress and the cubs a tour of Everlight.

"Reghys, come with us, we're going to the steel chick "

On their way to the outside, the three of them saw Reghys

"I'd love to but I have to check on something else"

Reghys didn't wait to hear Amaryll's reply as she quickly walked away from them.

The tigress frowned when she heard Amaryll

"Did you say dragon?"

Arrora and Amaryll had just now realized that the tigress didn't know about the real identity of Reghys.

"Shocking right, she's a dragon"

The tigress and the cubs stared at her in disbelief

"I was shocked too but you'll get used to her since she always stays in her human form"

The tigress couldn't believe what she just heard because a dragon is like a god to the beasts.

"It's true"

"Ow!"

The tigress's fur rose straight up as she jumped back when she suddenly saw the projection of a little girl, Catalie.

"Oops, seems like I startled you"

Catalie let out a wide grin and looked at her mischievously

"Catalie, didn't we talk about suddenly showing up?"

The white cub on her shoulder wrapped its tail around Arrora's neck and stared at Catalie in shock.

"Sorry"

Catalie pouted and tried to look pitiful

"Don't give us that look, you little brat"

Amaryll couldn't get herself to scold the little girl as she laughed.

"You three, meet Catalie, she's the guardian of this realm"

"Nice to meet you, Grey, Gold, Black and White, I wish I could play with that chubby cheeks"

Catalie's eyes sparkled looking at the cute cubs

The tigress was confused looking at the projection of catalie as she couldn't understand what spell or artifact that made like this. Even though the little girl seemed harmless and even cute, the tigress could feel the power radiating from her.

"Let's go outside"

With Catalie following them, they exited the castle and stepped outside.

When she stepped outside, the beauty of the scenery before her mesmerized her. The buildings, the crop fields, the streets, the trees, and the flower plants, the people roaming around the streets, and the occasional fountains looked even more gorgeous from here.

Every architecture was built with nature rather than against it as the building was built around the huge tree without cutting the tree.

"I never get tired of seeing this"

Arrora said as Amaryll and Catalie nodded.

"The outside world is nothing compared to this"

Amaryll sighed while walking towards the steel chick tavern.

"The outside world?"

"Yes, just like where you came from, this is also a pocket realm, if you want to go out, Catalie is the only way, Knight closed the other portal "

"Greetings, Lady Amaryll, Lady Arrora"

"Greetings Miss Catalie"

While Tigress was processing this, she saw the citizens of Everlight greeting them with a happy grin on their faces. The tigress could rarely see a human unlike the elves, dwarves, and the demihumans.

She walked alongside them looking and experiencing the charm of this realm. At first, she was a little nervous about this new place but seeing the faces of the residents, her nervousness slowly started to fade away because none of them looked at her differently as a beast but they greeted her with a smile like they were their new neighbor.

Occasionally an elven girl or a demihuman would approach them and pat and play with the cubs. The cubs seemed reluctant and growled at first but after playing with a bunch of them, they started to like to play with others.

Finally, after a few minutes of walking, they reached the steel chick tavern.

From the outside, it looks inviting, cheerful, clean, and cozy. Soft Wooden planks and marble stones made up most of the building's outer structure.

It was near impossible to see through the glass windows, but the enthusiastic and excited noises from within could be felt outside.

As they entered the tavern through the huge, hardwood door, they were welcomed by a feeling of comfort and amazing, but unknown scents.

The elven bartender beside the dwarf was buried in orders but still manages to welcome them with a wide grin and a short wave.

It was as alluring inside as it was on the outside. Wooden beams supported the upper floor and the ambient lights attached to them. The walls were full of paintings, judging by the style they were all done by many talented painters in Everlight.

The tavern itself was packed. At the moment, dwarves seemed to be the primary clientele here, which often leads to drinking contests and arm wrestling. Several long tables were occupied by demihumans and elves who, after having had quite a few drinks, appeared to be trying to prove which group is best. The other, smaller tables were also occupied by people who had been singing and dancing, occasionally pulling an unsuspecting waitress amidst their dancing group. Even most of the stools at the bar were occupied, though nobody seemed to mind more company.

judging by the music and how many people were dancing and the human girl with an angelic voice who just started singing, the tigress prepared for what will undoubtedly be a great time.

"Lady Amaryll, Lady Arrora, Miss Catalie welcome back"

A demihuman girl wearing what seemed to be the uniform of a waitress greeted them with a warm smile.

"I kept your usual table free"

The demihuman girl couldn't help but glance at the cute little cubs and the newcomer tigress while her tail started to wag.

"Comba, I'll introduce them to you later, now lead us to our table"

Amaryll pinched the waitress's ears as the waitress quickly nodded and led them to their table on the far corner of the tavern.

"What would you like to have? Ladies"

The cubs jumped on the table and bounced around in excitement as they couldn't wait to taste everything in the tavern.

"Wow, they really digest fast "

They just ate a lot during the feast but now they looked like they are starving.

"OWWW"

Comba, the waitress held her hands together against her chest and stared at the cubs with sparkling eyes.

"No liquor for you three! Comba, give us three caramel milk for them, I'll take a mug of sweet cinnamon grape ale, and for her"

Amaryll stopped ordering and looked at the tigress for a moment

"Give us a mug of everything you have and put them on my tab, we'll find what she likes the best"

"Amaryll"

The tigress wanted to stop Amaryll but she just waved at her

"You can't say no, it'll be my treat"

"Alrighty, Lady Arrora?"

"Just give a mug of Maple berry juice"

Amaryll rolled her eyes when Arrora ordered

"You don't have to do everything he does, just drink like a normal person for once, we're in a tavern for god sake"

Catalie giggled hearing Amaryll.

"It's not that, I just hate hangover, it'll mess with my practice"

"Say what you want but we know that you do this because he does, isn't it true, Catalie?"

Amaryll laughed and winked at Catalie.

"Comba, go and get the drinks"

Arrora ignored the two of them and ordered Comba.
