"Well, I'm not needed in there and besides I have something important to take care"
Just when she said this, the huge door slightly opened as Kayako saw the change in Amaryll's face, she panicked.
"Good luck in there"
Kayako and Nanbu were surprised to see her running away from the door as fast as she could and they even noticed magical fluctuations around her that indicated she was using life energy to enhance her running speed.
Nanbu asked as Kayako shrugged.
"Come, let's go and meet him"
Both of them sighed and opened the door.
When they opened the door, Nanbu simply couldn't believe the size of this hall as he could see at least a five hundred black-armored men were training.
"Kaya, look"
Nanbu pointed at the far corner of the hall and Kayako was surprised when she noticed a grey tiger sitting eyes closed like it was meditating.
And above the grey tiger, they noticed three cubs walking on a thin line and practicing their balance.
"Are they great masters?"
Nanbu eyes seemed like they were going to jump out of his its sockets
"Yes, they are"
All of a sudden, they heard a voice and when they looked in the direction of the voice, they saw a majestic white-furred lion descending as the two long feathery wings gave the lion an angelic charm.
The lion's mane fluttered in the wind as it landed before them.
"I assume you're Nanbu and Kayako, the half-orc and the druid Don told me about"
Knight noticed there were looking at him speechlessly
"Amaryll didn't tell you, did she?"
Nanbu shook his head after a few seconds
"Where is she anyway?"
"She said she has something important to take care of"
Kayako said as Knight smiled
"Of course, she has"
Knight knew that Amaryll would use all kinds of excuses to skip her training and one day, Knight decided to abduct her and train her for a whole day without giving her a break.

Nanbu and Kayako had never in their life seen a grandmaster magical beast. However, now they were walking and talking with one. Nanbu was a great master but he felt little and weaker compared to the people here.
What confused and surprised them at the same time was that they had never heard about a magical beast like Knight, as far as they knew, there were no winged lion species in this empire.
While Kayako was following Knight, she saw a little elven kid among the men who were training. Kayako wouldn't mind a light training for a kid as young as him but the elven kid was drenched in sweat as he was jumping and leaping from pillar to pillar with his eyes closed. A single misstep could result in broken bones or worse as the pillars were too high.
"General, Knight"
Kayako frowned as he stopped walking. Although Nanbu thought it was too much for a kid like him, he didn't question Knight because he knew that each teacher has their own way of teaching.

"That elven kid, his training seems"
"Too harsh"
Knight answered her before even she could finish her thought
"What do you think of his level of cultivation?"
Knight looked at both Nanbu and Kayako
"Well, a little kid like him couldn't be more than a mid master"

"If he's a prodigy, he might be a peak master, if he's not, I'm with Nanbu"

"If he was what you're saying is, the training is indeed harsh for him, but that little elven kid is a great master, he's training like any great master should"

The rooms had four colored racks; wooden racks, silver, golden and crimson. The wooden racks and the silver racks seemed almost filled with scrolls while the golden rack had fewer scrolls than wooden and silver racks and the crimson-colored racks were empty.
"Nanbu, these were scrolls we acquired and I think you have more knowledge about spell scrolls than me"
Knight motioned him to check out the scrolls as Nanbu nodded and grabbed one of the scrolls from the wooden rack.

Effect: Creates a shockwave of electric energy from the caster.
Appearance: A bright, jade ray of particles.
His hands started to shiver when he opened the scroll and Kaya wondered what made him act like this as she craned her neck and took a peak

Appearance: A thin, azure glowing wave.
Nanbu's heart was thumping against his chest and Kayako's mouth became dry looking at the number of scrolls in the racks. Nanbu kept grabbing and opening the scrolls as she was about to grab the old and worn out scroll from the golden rack, her hands trembled
And when she opened the scroll, Nanbu's jaw dropped in shock

Knight was ready to catch the scrolls in their arms as he wasn't sure why they are shaking like this
