As the sun rises Zion wake up and saw that he was sleeping on sand. It felt weird, but he was someone who slept even in the sewage. The dark times were harsh, but it molded Zion to a master of war. Zion clearly remembered he was supposed to meet Blake later; it was after a long thought that he decided to let Blake in his secrets.
"You are awake kid! You are supposed to train and have a focused mind, Zion. Only constant struggles will make you a terrifying warrior." Vivus was mad at the Zion who was with leisure walking in the beach.
"I know Vivus, I just wanted to enjoy this feeling which once I started, may lose for me. The higher I grow, my enemies will also be stronger and I just doubt the meaning of this life where we kill each other over nothing."
Vivus shrugged off the pessimist view on life. After all, he has seen the harshness and ruthlessness of life. It was a worthy discussion to have but a useless one in practical life. "The greediness of creatures is not something you can fathom Zion as well as the twisted sense of justice and righteousness."
"We as the creature of this known multiverse must survive; the ones who don't experience the bloodbath will perish while the one's struggle survives. Life is like that, this world does not revolve around you. Whether you die or live this world will continue to evolve. So, our duty is to survive and live as much as we can."
Zion was listening to the words of Vivus with great attention; he knew that even though the origin of Vivus was unknown his knowledge and wisdom was impeccable.
"You never told me who you are Vivus and about the inheritance."

Vivus was very pragmatic and knew what was stake at here. Zion could either choose to be an ordinary man or aspire to be something more, but once took the step towards being a ruler there would be no return. "The world is going to an end; a new age will begin from the ashes of this civilization. We are preparing for that event, for some, it will be dark ages and for others, it will be the golden age. Out of sixteen billion lives in this planet, only a tenth of them survive."
"What kind of nonsense are you talking, Zion. Is it a prank? Because I don't find anything laughable. Be serious and tell me the truth." Blake was laughing off what Zion told as a joke and asking him to be serious. Blake didn't want to be in the dark when Zion played his game. He looked at Zion and asked him to be more serious.

"I'm being serious Blake, it is the apocalypse that coming at us. Zombies, nuclear winter, the land will be infertile for years. The plants and animals will be mutating with humans. We will have abilities; people will be able to control fire, water, earth, air, and some people could even bend space and time. People who have the power and strength will be at the top of the food chain. Only their words will have value."
Zion knew it would be tough to digest and Blake may even think that Zion was getting mad. He was waiting for Blake to recognize the seriousness in which Zion talking and accept it as a reality. Blake looked at Zion and saw the seriousness in his face. His heart skipped for a moment and thought of the possibilities of Zion's claim.
"I don't believe you, Zion. Nevertheless, I choose to follow through the craziness you are doing right now. If it is an apocalypse, we will be ready to deal with it.
"I'm telling the truth and we are facing a crisis. I will teach you a technique that can make your body formidable. There are techniques to absorb energy that would be released by the world. We need to find and absorb them before Armageddon."
"I know that you don't believe me after all, no one could imagine that this catastrophe is going to happen. However, it will happen and all we could do is to prepare for the worst."
Zion stopped talking and shared the techniques to Blake. He urged Blake to practice the art of strengthening the body every day. Only a strong body could absorb and refine the energies. To survive and to have immunity from deadliest viruses that rampage through the world at times.
After giving, the technique's Zion urged Blake to come at him if there are any doubts. Blake also decided to try out this technique to see whether this thing is as marvelous as Zion claimed to be. As much the words of Zion sounded crazy, Blake chooses to trust him and be a part of that project.
