After James woke up, he decided it was too dangerous for him to hold this much cash on him, so he asked the system if there was a bank in the outer district and apparently there was 1 run by the Country. After heading to the bank, James has turned away as he had no identification papers so with no other choice had to head toward the Denizen office after asking the bank workers where he could register his identity.
When getting there, he was asked if he was able to read and write and upon seeing the form he would have to fill out had to embarrassingly say no and ask for a scribe which cost him 5 Birr. He then promised himself that he would learn to read and write as soon as possible to prevent being embarrassed like that again.
After answering all the questions, he was asked by the scribe he handed in the form along with 2 Leones for the registering fee. He was given a card with his name which he had chosen to keep from his last life, his date of birth which he had the system calculate, and something called a spiritual marker on it. Apparently, the spiritual marker meant that no one else would be able to impersonate him using that card and was also the reason for the high cost of application. James also speculated that most of the people living in the outer district were undocumented as they wouldn't gain anything from it and didn't have enough money to spare for the processing fee.
After gaining an identity card, James headed towards the bank to sign up for an account which thankfully didn't carry a charge he just had to show them his Identification card. James was prepared to deposit most of his money and keep 10 Leones on himself to spend but was notified that all he had to do was put his money in the account and he would be given a card that was able to access his money from anywhere in the city. James decided to label it as PTC(Portable Transfer Card) in his mind to keep it clear.
'System how does this card work?' James asked with a glint of keen interest in his eye which had been seen many times in his last life.
[System can only speculate from lack of information that the markings on the back resembling a circuit board run off of some kind of energy that was unknown in your last life or just didn't exist. These markings should form a unique connection to the bank so you can access your money through it, System speculates that the crystal highlighted on the card is what controls it and connects to the bank as it can sense odd energy signals originating from it.]

James had a complete thirst for knowledge for this new type of magical technology, but he knew he couldn't waste all his money on materials to learn about it yet as he just wasn't financially capable at the moment, he wouldn't even know how to get his hands on them after all. He had definitely learnt his lesson from his last life and would budget adequately to avoid ending up on the streets again.
'Oh yeah, System I meant to ask do you have a quest system?'
[Quest function is currently locked as system level is too low, System would like to direct the host's attention to the achievements section.]
