"Father calm down", Zayden uncle implored as he wiped the streams sweat from his forehead with a handkerchief.
His father was quite scary when he was angry.

"Don't be reckless. Bring that girl over once you find her alone without much commotion. We're still not sure if she is the culprit or not. That David guy might just be lying. Interrogate him thoroughly first"

"Are you going to decline to oblige my command?", second elder smirked wryly, "That old man is already of the age and have lost his discernment. And don't forget that with Young Master being crippled, he is no longer capable of leading the Carter family. That leaves me to be the next head"
That man with scar was wise and didn't refute. And also he was already humiliated by that old man bad temper.
"And what if she is the culprit?", he asked seriously.
