Caroline trembled. She realized that Christin was not going to believe it that she was innocent. He already looked very angry. So she resorted to forgiveness.

"Caroline targeted you to get back at me and I dragged you into all this so..."
"You don't need to feel that way", Sarah said, "Caroline had been down because of the fall of Carter family. She wanted to take out her frustration and guess the unlucky person was me"
Angelize smiled.
"But Caroline will soon regret it"
"How?"
"My fairy God mother will make her"
Sarah looked at Angelize weirdly when she saw an evil glint across her eyes.
Her friend, Angelize, was back at speaking nonsense.
Meanwhile Angelize eyes landed on a timid girl who was looking at them stealthily. It was the same girl who had informed Angelize of Sarah being bullied.
"Do you know her?", Angelize asked curious.
"Oh she?, yes", Sarah gossip mode was activated, "She is Caroline cousin, Iris"
"Her cousin?", Angelize was even more surprised,"She was the one who told me that Caroline was cornering you"
"Did she?", Sarah asked happily.
"Yes", Angelize was even more confused to see Iris waving happily at Sarah and Sarah returning that.
"Oh by the way, she hates Caroline", Sarah told.
"Hates her?"
"Yes, it is Caroline uncle, Iris father who supports the family. Caroline is an orphan so Iris father took her in and took care of her. But Caroline was not satisfied by all that so slowly she cornered Iris and turned her family against her to become the most beloved daughter of the family. Similarly in college, Caroline bullied Iris friends and made her alone without any friends so that Iris would be without any support and depend only on Caroline and wouldn't dare to do something against her"
"Then why did she help us?"
"She likes me but doesn't talk to me openly because of the fear of Caroline"
Angelize thought that it was why she was looking at Sarah secretly and didn't approach her directly.
On that afternoon, when Angelize was going through Caroline accounts and couldn't find anything worthwhile, she sighed frustrated. She had checked all her accounts but it was not like Angelize was going to find some corruption or frauds from her accounts like she did with Carter family.

So to find something catastrophic about Caroline was proving very difficult.
