In the evening, when Song Nanqiao returned to her dorm, Wen Wenyao sent her a video call. The girl seemed to have arrived home.

It appeared she had just finished taking a shower, as there were still drops of water on her hair.

“Darling, good evening.”

Wen Wenyao greeted Song Nanqiao with a wave from the other side of the camera, her voice sweet and affectionate.

When the soft and sweet voice of the girl came through, Song Nanqiao suddenly remembered that her phone’s sound was not muted. Her roommates turned to look at her with complex expressions, still finding it hard to believe that Song Nanqiao had managed to win Wen Wenyao’s heart in such a short time. They still had a surreal attitude towards their passionate relationship, feeling like it was something mystical.

“Sorry.”

Song Nanqiao nodded apologetically to her roommates and then took out a pair of earphones from her cabinet.

After putting on the earphones, she began chatting with Wen Wenyao.

“Did the rehearsal go well?”

“Very smoothly. You should come watch me tomorrow.”

Wen Wenyao used a towel to dry her hair, her voice as soft as ever, as if she were being coquettish.

“I will.”

Song Nanqiao would definitely attend the assembly.

The two chatted about various things, and when it was time for lights out, Wen Wenyao reluctantly ended the call. Before hanging up, she used her sweet voice to bid Song Nanqiao goodnight.

The next day…

The assembly was scheduled for the second class after lunch.

Song Nanqiao’s class was in the second row, not the closest, but she could still see the stage clearly.

The proceedings were tedious and boring. If it weren’t for Wen Wenyao’s upcoming speech, Song Nanqiao wouldn’t have been paying much attention.

After the teachers and leaders finished speaking, the host took the microphone and announced, “Next, we have our grade’s first-place student, Wen Wenyao from sophomore class A, to give a speech.”

Wen Wenyao, dressed in her school uniform, tied her hair neatly and held a red script as she stood on the stage. She smiled at her fellow students.

There was another round of enthusiastic applause from the audience.

Song Nanqiao was surrounded by the crowd and couldn’t help feeling that this scene was somehow familiar.

“Dear teachers, beloved classmates, good morning to you all.”

The voice sounded familiar, and the scene seemed reminiscent. Everything was the same as that embarrassing night. As she listened, Song Nanqiao blushed more and more.

Wen Wenyao, standing on the stage, kept an eye on Song Nanqiao’s position. When she saw her blushing and looking embarrassed, she couldn’t help but find it amusing. Although she didn’t know why Song Nanqiao was reacting this way, it made her smile.

After Wen Wenyao successfully finished her speech, she bowed to her fellow students and gracefully walked to a corner on the side of the stage.

The principal stepped up to the microphone, taking it from Wen Wenyao’s hand.

“In this mid-term exam, our school’s performance has improved compared to the end of the previous semester. We can all feel the enthusiasm for learning among you. I would like to give special praise for Song Nanqiao from Class F.”

As the principal reached this point, the people around turned their gaze to Song Nanqiao, especially those who knew about Song Nanqiao’s relationship with Wen Wenyao. They glanced at Song Nanqiao and then at Wen Wenyao.

The principal directed a loving gaze toward Class F.

He knew that education could indeed work wonders.

“Although Song Nanqiao is a student of Class F, she has worked hard in her own class and received praise from multiple teachers. In this mid-term exam, she achieved the eleventh rank in the entire grade. For all the students who need to improve their grades, you should take Song Nanqiao as your example.”

After he finished speaking, the applause filled the campus again.

One couldn’t help but say that in the eyes of others, Song Nanqiao was quite inspirational and successful. She became excellent for love, and in the end, not only did she excel academically, but she also won the heart of the goddess.

Song Nanqiao: “Um…”

Song Nanqiao felt a bit helpless. In fact, she preferred to keep a low profile and didn’t want to stand out too much.

“Now, please invite Song Nanqiao to the stage to share her personal thoughts.”

The principal, with a smiling face, came down from the stage and stood aside.

System: I guess you must be very happy.

Song Nanqiao: Well…

Wen Wenyao, who was on the stage, had been observing Song Nanqiao’s embarrassed expressions.

She seemed to remember that there was no such segment in the program. It must have been a spontaneous decision by the principal to invite Song Nanqiao to speak.

Wen Wenyao, who was usually poised and elegant, couldn’t help but cover her mouth and narrow her eyes, looking very amused.

“Pfft.”
