After Wen Wenyao left, Song Nanqiao washed her face with cold water because her head was feeling a bit hot from their earlier intimacy. She knew it wouldn’t be easy to concentrate on her work for a while.

“What’s your plan?” the system asked.

The stock market would open tomorrow, and Song Nanqiao had spent so much time in the hospital that the system was concerned she might not find her footing and direction immediately.

“I plan to focus on trading speculative stocks.”

Song Nanqiao said thoughtfully as she opened her computer.

“If you want to make the most money in a short amount of time, trading speculative stocks is a good strategy. These stocks don’t follow a regular pattern; their trends are strange, often marked by sharp rises and falls. If successful, you can make a substantial profit.”

While she was immersed in the stock market, her phone rang. It was a call from Zhai Xinqi.

“Miss Song?”

“Yes, what is it?”

“The stock market opens tomorrow. Do you need us to transfer the control of Rongtai to you now?”

“Yes.”

After gaining control of Rongtai Securities, Song Nanqiao began searching for stocks with potential.

One night passed.

Now it was 9:30 in the morning, and Song Nanqiao was sitting in front of her computer, ready to select stocks and build positions.

“This stock should work; it has a small market capitalization, and its current popularity isn’t too high.”

Song Nanqiao squinted at a new stock. She aimed to turn it into a speculative stock, and it didn’t seem too difficult.

First, she established her position. Using both the account provided by Wen Guangquan and the institution she controlled through Rongtai, she bought shares of the stock. Then, Song Nanqiao started suppressing the stock price, making it harder for retail investors to enter and creating better control.

Song Nanqiao planned to be quick and decisive. This wasn’t a large-scale, long-term trading operation; the goal was to make some quick money.

There was no specific time limit for the position-building phase, but it was a short-term trading strategy, so she couldn’t spend too much time on it. She aimed to complete it within a week.

The position-building phase was crucial. During the first two hours after the market opened in the morning, Song Nanqiao was busy.

It wasn’t until 11:30, when the morning stock market closed, that Song Nanqiao reluctantly closed her computer.

“I always feel like time passes so quickly when I’m doing this.”

She stretched lazily and leaned her head back in the chair, still staring at the computer. Her back was a bit sore.

“How’s it going?”

The system, which didn’t understand stocks, asked. It could only see a bunch of lines and didn’t know if Song Nanqiao was successful.

“Don’t worry, it’s still early. It’s only the first day,” Song Nanqiao said confidently. She was fully confident in handling a trading operation of this scale. As long as there were no major surprises, everything was just a matter of time.

“The early phase of position-building is quite simple. The most important thing is the high point and retracement phase. You need to make retail investors follow you and gradually trap those old stockholders.”

During this high point phase, Song Nanqiao would also leverage some financial information platforms to release positive news about the stock. It would be even better if it could trend on financial hot topics. This way, she could quickly increase the stock’s visibility and turn it into the stock she wanted.

She picked up her phone and ordered some congee; she didn’t feel like cooking a full meal. She had a simple lunch and took a short break.

Around noon, Wen Wenyao sent a voice message.

“Darling, it’s lunchtime. Don’t go hungry,” her sweet and gentle voice came through the message.

Suddenly, Song Nanqiao felt less tired.

“Alright, take care of yourself too.”

Song Nanqiao replied with a message. She wasn’t used to sending voice messages.

Five seconds after she sent the message, Song Nanqiao received a new one.

“I’ll come to see you tonight. Love you, muah.”

On the other end of the phone, Wen Wenyao kissed Song Nanqiao. The air was filled with the scent of love.

The classmates sitting nearby all made several sounds of amazement, watching Wen Wenyao pamper her girlfriend. It was like witnessing a once-in-a-lifetime event.

They had initially thought that Wen Wenyao was a reserved and dignified type, but they didn’t expect her to exhibit many behaviors of a typical young girl when in love.

Tsk tsk tsk…

In the afternoon.

With the account provided by Wen Guangquan, Song Nanqiao browsed around and found several stocks with strong upward trends. She casually bought them, expecting to make some small profits by the end of the trading day, barring any unexpected events.

Looking at the clock in the lower right corner of her computer, it was almost time for the market to close today.

Song Nanqiao shut down her computer, planning to buy some groceries and cook dinner when she returned in the evening.

Wen Wenyao had been taking care of her during this period, so Song Nanqiao decided to show her gratitude by cooking dinner herself tonight.
