“Didn’t expect this, did you? You’ve met your match,” a man dressed in black military attire said, picking up a gun from the ground and aiming it at Wen Guangquan’s head.

Wen Guangquan’s expression changed as he grabbed the man’s gun when the commander wasn’t paying attention. In the chaos, two shots were fired, both hitting the wall. Wen Guangquan held onto the gun’s barrel tightly, adjusting its direction to avoid hurting himself.

“You’ve run out of bullets,” the commander sneered, using his elbow to strike Wen Guangquan’s facial bones.

Wen Guangquan was resilient, no matter how many punches the commander threw, he refused to let go. His once dignified face was now covered in bruises.

When the commander’s fist was about to land again, Wen Guangquan bit down hard on the man’s arm, as if tearing into a piece of meat, and savagely bit off a chunk of flesh.

“Damn it, let go!” The commander groaned in pain, trying harder to make Wen Guangquan release his grip.

“Even if I die, I’ll take you with me,” Wen Guangquan’s face momentarily showed madness.

He had been too careless, never expecting this man to resort to such tactics, disregarding so many lives.

It seemed… what Song Nanqiao said was true; these people who had nothing to lose were not easily swayed by money. At this point, all Wen Guangquan could do was drag the commander down with him.

Wen Guangquan turned and grabbed the commander’s neck, using all his strength to move him towards the window.

Sensing Wen Guangquan’s intention, the commander began using his combat skills flexibly, pulling at Wen Guangquan’s body, and the two of them fell to the ground, wrestling with each other.

Although the commander had undergone extensive military training and had the upper hand in hand-to-hand combat, Wen Guangquan was also professionally trained and proved to be quite tenacious. He couldn’t be subdued quickly.

“Die already!”

The commander found an opportunity, grabbing Wen Guangquan’s neck, and with a judo move, he made Wen Guangquan lose his balance. With a forceful twist of his arm, he managed to overpower Wen Guangquan and gained the upper hand.

As he pinned Wen Guangquan to the ground, the commander reached into his side pouch, pulling out a hidden dagger concealed in his sleeve. He pretended to have no weapons on him, then lunged at Wen Guangquan.

With the hidden dagger concealed in his sleeve, the commander abruptly stabbed it into Wen Guangquan’s abdomen without warning. He began creating a large wound by twisting the dagger.

“Stop struggling. I can make your death less painful,” the commander sneered.

“Even in death, I won’t let you off,” Wen Guangquan glared at him fiercely, his eyes resembling those of a demon.

The commander’s eyelid twitched as he lifted Wen Guangquan’s body. He dragged him towards the window, and in Wen Guangquan’s defiant gaze, he ruthlessly pushed him out.

“Hmph, troublesome guy. Crossing paths with the military is never a good ending for a businessman,” the commander muttered to himself as he wiped the blood off his hands on the curtain. He wanted to leave this place and regroup with the rest of the troops.

Before he could turn around, a gun was aimed at his forehead.

“Who are you?”

“Someone who wants you dead.”

As Song Nanqiao was about to pull the trigger, the commander reached out and grabbed the barrel of her gun, attempting to disarm her. However, Song Nanqiao wasn’t an easy opponent. When he grabbed the weapon, she freed one hand and delivered a powerful punch to the commander’s face, relentlessly kicking his knees with her foot.

“F**k!”

The commander cursed as he attempted to push Song Nanqiao out the window.

“If you’re in such a hurry to die, go join Wen Guangquan down there,” Song Nanqiao taunted.

“Those who should die are you,” the commander retorted.

Song Nanqiao activated her skills and, as the commander and she got closer to the window, she used her foot to hook his ankle, grabbed his sleeve, and threw him out.

The commander didn’t fall directly but managed to grab onto the steel bars on the window ledge, attempting to climb back up.

Seeing this, Song Nanqiao quickly picked up the gun that had fallen on the ground and, without hesitation, pulled the trigger.

With one shot, the commander fell straight down. The bullet struck a vital spot, and Song Nanqiao didn’t give him any chance.
