“Why have I been sneezing so much lately?” Song Nanqiao grabbed a tissue and wiped her nose.

In the past six months, her frequency of sneezing has been increasing. If she still had a physical body, she would have thought she was catching a cold.

“Don’t slack off; get back to work,” a small system urged her.

“I know,” Song Nanqiao replied and continued typing on the keyboard in front of her.

Five years ago, after resolving the military issue, she had died due to her body, and her consciousness had been trapped in this space. The main god system had left her spirit here, and if she wanted to regain a physical body, she had to stay here and work for the main god system to earn money.

Five years had passed in the blink of an eye, and Song Nanqiao had lost count of how much money she had earned, but the system still wouldn’t let her go.

“Hmm, it’s a heartless business that exploits its employees,” Song Nanqiao muttered, then turned her attention back to the computer screen.

Speaking of which, she didn’t know how Wen Wenyao was doing…

Over the years, Song Nanqiao has been trying various ways to gather information about Wen Wenyao. From the main god system, she learned some information, such as Wen Wenyao taking control of the Wen family and having a powerful system assisting her, leading to a successful career.

But everything else remained unknown to Song Nanqiao.

And she didn’t know… if Wen Wenyao had found a new partner.

She probably wouldn’t, considering Wen Wenyao truly loved her.

Song Nanqiao thought silently to herself.

But if she couldn’t return, she also hoped that Wen Wenyao would find happiness.

“Song Nanqiao, the main god system wants to see you.”

“Alright, I’ll go now,” Song Nanqiao got up from her computer desk and was led by several systems to another space.

The main god system had no physical form and only communicated its intentions in a vast hall.

“Song Nanqiao.”

“Do you need something from me?”

“From now on, you don’t need to work anymore. You can return to your original world, but it will take another month for your body to be fully restored, so no strenuous exercise during that time.”

“Um… Can I go back to Wen Wenyao’s world?” Song Nanqiao hesitated and asked. In fact, she wanted to return to Wen Wenyao’s side more than her original world. After all, that girl was the one she cared about the most.

Song Nanqiao couldn’t bear to leave Wen Wenyao like this and go back to her original world.

“Well, you were originally in the same world as her,” the main god system said with a knowing smile.

Then, the surrounding lights brightened, and when she woke up, Song Nanqiao found herself on a bustling street.

“What did it just say? I didn’t hear it clearly…” Song Nanqiao pinched her forehead, trying hard to recall what the main god system had just said.

It seemed to have mentioned something about a world… but in her panic, she hadn’t heard it clearly.

For now, it seemed she couldn’t return to Wen Wenyao’s world.

Song Nanqiao looked at the surrounding buildings and tried to remember the iconic structures of her original world. She should be able to find her way home based on her memories.

Relying on her memory, Song Nanqiao successfully made her way back to her original home.

It seemed that someone had cleaned up the place, and it was relatively clean. Before crossing over, Song Nanqiao had pre-paid the cleaning lady in advance, so she would come regularly to clean the place.

“It’s strange. So many years have passed, and they should have left since I wasn’t here,” Song Nanqiao found it odd, then walked into her room. There, she saw an old computer and a mobile phone. Upon closer inspection, the computer was the second one she had ever purchased, and the phone was from several years ago.

She tried turning on the computer, and the system ran smoothly. The browser on the computer was from several years ago, and Song Nanqiao checked the date.

2015?…

“Wait a minute…”

Song Nanqiao hurriedly went to the bathroom to examine her face.

In the mirror, she saw her younger self, probably around twenty-three to twenty-five years old. Her hairstyle was from when she had just graduated from college.

Looking at her younger self, Song Nanqiao was at a loss.

When she had crossed over, she was already thirty years old. How could she have gone back in time several years?

The timeline was messed up.

The more Song Nanqiao thought about it, the more confused she became.

Did this system send her back to her original world five years ago?

“In 2015, I was just about to start my entertainment company,” Song Nanqiao returned to her room and opened her folder.

Sure enough, it was her first entertainment company, which had just started with some small projects.

As Song Nanqiao looked at the information and remembered her origins, the landline phone beside her rang.

“Hello, Miss Song, our director would like to meet with you.”

A strange woman’s voice came through the phone. Song Nanqiao tried to recall, and it seemed to be the secretary of a famous director.

“Please schedule a time.”

“Let’s set it for next Monday.”

“Alright.”

Song Nanqiao accepted the invitation, thinking that she should at least go and see what was going on.

After hanging up the phone, Song Nanqiao fell into deep thought.

“Starting all over again…”

Lying on her big bed, Song Nanqiao tried to recall the things she had done in her previous life. Starting a business was really tiring, and after doing business for several decades, Song Nanqiao suddenly felt a bit weary.

She decided to take a rest today and deal with it tomorrow…

The next day.

In the morning, Song Nanqiao processed some documents at home and got an overview of the current situation of her company. She was prepared to start over and create a brilliant future.

Since she didn’t feel hungry in her current body, Song Nanqiao skipped dinner and decided to take a walk around the neighborhood at night to familiarize herself with the area.

The city at night was always brightly lit. Song Nanqiao strolled by the seaside, an area that hadn’t been developed yet. She planned to take over this harbor once her economic strength was enough.
