At night, Wen Wenyao took a shower while Song Nanqiao prepared a simple late-night snack in the kitchen.

They had been playing for a while, and Wen Wenyao hadn’t eaten yet. She thought she would cook something to eat while waiting for Wen Wenyao to finish her shower.

She made two bowls of soup noodles and placed them on the dining table.

“Put on your pajamas and come eat,” Song Nanqiao removed her apron and sat at the table.

“Alright,” a sweet voice came from the bathroom.

As Wen Wenyao took a hot shower, her body started feeling hot again. Tonight, Song Nanqiao had satisfied her immensely.

After showering, Wen Wenyao came out wearing a bathrobe.

As she opened the bathroom door, Song Nanqiao’s gaze was instantly captivated.

The elusive movie star, now wearing a snowy white bathrobe, approached her with half-dried hair cascading over her shoulders. Perhaps due to the warmth, some loose strands had fallen behind her ears, revealing her even more stunning facial features. Looking further down, her neck was adorned with tiny marks, all left by Song Nanqiao’s affectionate touches.

“Come over and eat…”

Song Nanqiao coughed twice, suppressing her inner restlessness, and focused on the late-night snack.

“Sure,” Wen Wenyao smiled gently, taking light steps and sitting beside Song Nanqiao.

It seemed that her goal for tonight had been achieved.

With a slightly improved mood, Wen Wenyao blew on the food in her bowl until it cooled down a bit, and then she put it in her mouth.

“It’s delicious. Your cooking skills have improved,” Wen Wenyao praised without reservation. She had always enjoyed the meals Song Nanqiao prepared.

“As long as you like it.”

“Darling.”

“Hmm? What’s up?”

“Let’s get married tomorrow, okay?”

Wen Wenyao looked at Song Nanqiao seriously. She had promised that as soon as she returned, she would marry Song Nanqiao. She knew it might seem rushed, but she couldn’t wait any longer.

After she retired from the entertainment industry, they would have a grand wedding and do everything that couples should do before getting married.

“Okay.”

Since it was a promise, Song Nanqiao would keep it.

During this time, Song Nanqiao also thought about it. For Wen Wenyao, it was a matter of commitment and security. Since they had come this far, an early marriage was fine.

If it could make Wen Wenyao feel more secure, Song Nanqiao was more than willing.

Seeing Song Nanqiao’s agreeing expression, Wen Wenyao’s heart seemed to bubble with joy. Today’s unpleasantness from the afternoon was completely gone.

That night, Wen Wenyao slept exceptionally well.

Early the next morning, Song Nanqiao was awakened by Wen Wenyao’s call.

When she opened her eyes, she was met with her girlfriend’s gentle expression.

“Darling, shall we go get registered now? We can be the first couple to register today!” Wen Wenyao gently shook Song Nanqiao’s hand, acting all cute like a little kitten.

She had been waiting for this day for a long time.

Since her youth, she has fantasized countless times about marrying Song Nanqiao.

“Alright.” Song Nanqiao rubbed her sleepy eyes, indulgently patting her girlfriend’s head.

“Help me bring the clothes.”

Song Nanqiao got out of bed, seemingly without any intention of getting the clothes herself.

“Mm-hmm.”

Wen Wenyao immediately fetched Song Nanqiao’s clothes.

After a simple breakfast, Song Nanqiao drove with Wen Wenyao to the Civil Affairs Bureau.

“When we get out of the car, put on your mask and sunglasses, and don’t let anyone recognize you,”

Song Nanqiao cautioned, glancing around, worried that someone might be following Wen Wenyao.

“Okay.”

Wen Wenyao obediently put on her mask and sunglasses and even wore a hat, completely concealing herself.

“Welcome, you’re the first couple today,” greeted the Civil Affairs Bureau staff, smiling at them.

“Please take off your mask.”

“Sure.”

Wen Wenyao didn’t hesitate to remove her mask and sunglasses, revealing her stunningly beautiful face.

This face was a topic of discussion everywhere. During this period, hardly anyone didn’t recognize Wen Wenyao, so when she took off her mask, the staff was stunned.

“Wen Wenyao…?! Am I seeing things…?”

The staff stared wide-eyed, filled with disbelief in their small eyes. They couldn’t believe the person in front of them was the top actress in the entertainment industry, the one who had won an Oscar for Best Actress in her twenties.

They’d rather believe it was just someone who happened to look like Wen Wenyao.

Until Wen Wenyao calmly pulled out her ID.

The staff took it tremblingly, glanced at it, and it was Wen Wenyao…

They couldn’t express their current emotions in words anymore…

Unbelievable.

If this got out, the internet would probably crash.

“Sorry, please keep this a secret for me,” Wen Wenyao’s eyes carried a pleading look. She didn’t want her registration with Song Nanqiao to be ruined like this.

“Okay.” The staff member drank some water, her hand holding the cup trembling.

Half an hour later, the two of them came out of the Civil Affairs Bureau, got in the car, and Wen Wenyao held onto the little red book lovingly. She kept opening it to look inside, as if she couldn’t get enough of it.

Song Nanqiao glanced at her.

Wen Wenyao’s face was beaming with a sweetness she had never shown before. The warm sunlight cast on her, and what it displayed was genuine happiness.

Song Nanqiao felt a slight tremor in her heart.

At this moment, she deeply realized that this girl truly loved her.

So, should she… do something in return?
