Through the rearview mirror, Song Nanqiao could seemingly see Wen Wenyao’s joyful and happy face.

Song Nanqiao: Are you really coming with me?

Her competitive spirit had been stirred, and Song Nanqiao took advantage of Wen Wenyao’s gap and accelerated forward.

However, this move happened to fall into Wen Wenyao’s trap.

Unable to resist teasing Song Nanqiao, Wen Wenyao changed her acceleration direction at the moment when Song Nanqiao accelerated, increased her horsepower, and made it impossible for Song Nanqiao to catch up.

Song Nanqiao, trailing behind, felt somewhat frustrated.

She couldn’t believe that she, who had been driving for decades, had lost to a twenty-two-year-old girl and lost so embarrassingly. When she got back, she decided to buy a kart and practice until she became good at it.

Seemingly aware of Song Nanqiao’s frustration,

Wen Wenyao subtly revealed some flaws, seemingly minor but actually significant, to give Song Nanqiao a chance.

Taking advantage of the time when Wen Wenyao let up on her, Song Nanqiao accelerated and managed to win over Wen Wenyao with a slight advantage in the final lap.

“You were letting me win, I could tell,” Song Nanqiao said.

Removing her helmet, she had some sweat on her forehead.

“Haha, do you know why I let you win?” Wen Wenyao also took off her helmet, revealing her incredibly beautiful face.

She smiled at Song Nanqiao, her eyes filled with warmth.

“Is it because you’ll be gentle with me?”

“That’s one reason. Another reason is that when two dogs play together, the stronger one tends to let the weaker one win to keep their interest in playing. Even dogs understand this principle, so why wouldn’t I?”

Wen Wenyao laughed joyfully.

Song Nanqiao, a social elite, had a day like this as well.

“Wen Wenyao!”

“Hahaha!”

Wen Wenyao was the first to get out of the kart, running ahead and letting Song Nanqiao chase her from behind.

Though Song Nanqiao felt a bit embarrassed running behind, she was also happy. It had been a long time since she had seen Wen Wenyao this happy. Right now, they seemed like an ordinary young couple.

At the entrance, Song Nanqiao settled the bill.

“Oh, I want to eat sukiyaki.” Wen Wenyao passed by many sukiyaki restaurants during their drive.

The morning menu had limited options, and Wen Wenyao was starting to feel hungry.

“Sure, I’ll take you.”

Although it was only 9 a.m., Song Nanqiao was willing to indulge her girlfriend’s cravings.

“Or, let’s wait a bit. I heard there’s a temple nearby that’s said to be very effective for blessings. I want to take you there.”

Wen Wenyao held Song Nanqiao’s hand and headed towards the temple.

Last night, she had looked it up on her phone and heard that this temple was known for its effectiveness. When married couples visited and prayed there, it was said to strengthen their bond.

Wen Wenyao wanted to make a personal wish for both of them.

“By hanging our lock together, you won’t be able to get rid of me for the rest of your life.” Wen Wenyao hung their token herself and found a good spot for it.

After hanging it, Wen Wenyao silently wished, “I want to be with you for this life and the next.”

Song Nanqiao, standing beside her, took the initiative to hold her wife’s hand. This was undoubtedly a very sincere gesture.

At noon, Song Nanqiao had reserved a table at the highest-rated Wagyu sukiyaki restaurant and even paid extra for a private room where someone would come to cook the Wagyu for Wen Wenyao.

Wen Wenyao enjoyed her meal very much, and when she started to feel a bit full, Song Nanqiao had some salad brought in to refresh their palates.

After a satisfying meal, they visited an art museum for a while.

At six o’clock in the evening,

The weather had cooled down, and Song Nanqiao put a coat on Wen Wenyao.

“I want to go horseback riding, but I don’t know how.”

Wen Wenyao was eating an ice cream and watching the horses pass by, feeling a bit envious.

“I do, and I’ll ride the same horse as you.”

“Can I?” Wen Wenyao asked eagerly.

“Of course, I’m quite skilled in horseback riding.”

Song Nanqiao took Wen Wenyao to rent horses.

She mounted the horse first, and once the horse’s mood stabilized, she led Wen Wenyao to sit in front of her.

Wen Wenyao leaned against Song Nanqiao, feeling her strong and steady heartbeat. She felt incredibly safe with Song Nanqiao, and even though she had never ridden a horse before, she now felt truly secure.

Originally, she didn’t know how to ride a horse, but she still felt at ease.

Riding together, the two of them roamed through the forest paths, surrounded by other couples.

“Do you want some candy?” Song Nanqiao saw a vendor selling handmade candy nearby.

“Yes, please.” The girl nodded.

Song Nanqiao dismounted, bought two pieces of candy, and fed one to Wen Wenyao, who seemed quite pleased. Wen Wenyao patted the seat in front of her to signal Song Nanqiao to get back on.

After remounting, Song Nanqiao noticed that Wen Wenyao was holding her hand and gently kneading her palm.

“Are you happy today?” Song Nanqiao asked softly in her wife’s ear.

“Of course, I’ve done many things I’ve never done before, but most importantly, it’s because I have you.”

Wen Wenyao leaned in and gently kissed Song Nanqiao’s cheek, her eyes filled with tenderness…
