Chapter 1734 Chapter 1734. Boarding the Flagship

?The five small ships attached to the towered flagship were not just decorations. They fired at Cipher Flight's guild navy that was approaching, using cannons and water guns. The water guns shot high-pressure water like those used by real-world firefighters. But unlike their real-world counterparts, these water guns were used to deal damage instead of saving people. They also delivered high knockback effects to their targets.

Water Lily spread her navy so the ships could enter from all directions. Their ships received heavy damage due to their forceful advance but they ignored it. What's important was boarding the flagship.

All the while, the allied ships sent bombardment to the enemy flagship from outside the fog. Their bombardment was stopped by the shield protecting the flagship but the flagship still lost some HP and the tremor caused by their bombardment disrupted the flagship from accurately targeting Cipher Flight's ships.

The first group of Cipher Flight's ships that managed to dock did so on the five satellite ships of the flagship. Frogman warriors were waiting at the edge when these ships docked. They jumped onto the enemy ships and did battle there before the enemy soldiers could disembark.

However, they couldn't stop all the ships. Cipher Flight had many ships that survived the journey. Additionally, Vodyan had sent more of his warriors down into the sea to deal with Nogg and Will. Those warriors were still down there playing catch with the two who had adapted evasive maneuvers.

The other merfolk and their player companions had arrived under the flagship. They didn't clash directly with the frogmen who outnumbered them. All they did was keep close to the flagship and continue sending reports about its coordinates. The frogmen might have a swimming speed rivaling the merfolk but in terms of maneuverability underwater, the merfolk were superior. Hence, the frogmen had trouble catching these merfolk.

With the frogmen above the water busy with Cipher Flight ships docking their five satellite ships, several of the enemy ships slipped through the bombardment of their cannons and water guns. These ships charged straight into the center ship and rammed right into it.

The impact from the ramming was so hard that the frogman warriors who were on standby at the edge of the tower ships were thrown to the ground. Before those frogmen got back up, Players and Guild soldiers jumped out of Cipher Flight ships.

She turned and saw a large flood from that direction. This flood hit the frogman warriors at the foot of the tower. The frogmen held each other trying to fight the flood as a group but unable to resist for long. The strong force from the flood washed the frogmen away.

While the frogmen were still washed away, a large ship materialized out of thin air cruising the flood. The ship unleashed rapid cannon fires at the frogmen.

"Let's go!" Disco Rain heard the voice of the same person who warned her earlier.

A player in a pirate garb and a merfolk with legs ran past her. This player and merfolk were Will Corner and Nogg Drowner.

After Cipher Flight's guild navy docked the flagship, many of the frogmen who entered the water earlier returned to the surface. The merfolk who were doing evasive maneuvers shifted to become offensive. They struck these frogmen who were trying to resurface. Will and Nogg left the water during the commotion.

They were also targeting the orb on top of the tower. When Will saw the group of frogmen at the foot of the tower, he used Roaring Ocean before following up with Naval Bombardment.

"Thanks," Disco Rain said to Will and Nogg as she resumed her advance. Her fast speed let her overtake the two.

Arriving at the base of the tower, Disco Rain deftly jumped in between the platforms along the tower. There were no stairs to climb the tower. This flagship was built for the frogmen. They were designed to be traversable only by frogmen who had superior jumping power. Luckily, Disco Rain's class gave her a super jump ability. She also had the grappling hook skill when she needed to cover a long-distance jump.

Will's bard skill didn't provide a super jump ability but his Pirate King did. Merfolk who could transform their fish tail into legs also had this ability. The two jumped between the platforms right behind Disco Rain.

Behind them, the Hellion Panther with Kishale riding on top followed suit.
