The world as we know it, is Objective. But what if it wasn't? What if one could collapse the state of the world to whatever they wished. Make their own rules—a world made up not of atoms but anything one's imagination could justify—rhythm, lines, heat, colors, patterns, karma, entropy—anything!
So when Objectivity shattered, Vern, the sole witness to the macabre secrets behind the planetwide genocide, must teach himself to see the world Subjectively as he maneuvers the politically unstable city of Elmhurst. He must grow strong enough to fight back when the time runs out—his own, and the world's.
For, secrets are secrets for a reason. And some do not wish to see them uncovered.

What to expect:
- Completely original 'magic' that can be hard (scientific) or soft (mystical), depending on the user.
- Reverse Engineering of magic system and its concepts.
- Competence Porn (Most characters of importance won't be stupid).
- Somewhat of a slow-burn, but rewarding (mind-bending) progression and character/world-building.
- Victorian Era, Steampunk, Lovecraft themes (subtle).
- Short sections of non MC POV, but around 80-90% will be MC pov in the long run.
- Inspired by Bloodborne, Lord of The Mysteries.
