After the night of the gala, work was once again demanding for Zunnie Bai. She had to decide what department she was going to open at the Bai Children's Hospital. She was in a meeting with each department head to find what would work best for the hospital.

"Dr. Bai…although the pathology department is doing exceptionally well, we could really use an expansion. A number of nurses and doctors in our department have been complaining about the space. So, if we got an expansion, even an added floor at least, it would help alleviate the stress of the staff." The head of the pathology department shared his views. He knew what he was asking for was going to be difficult, but he decided to take a risk. After all, he had been working with the hospital for five years now and the director was very understanding when it came to anything regarding the betterment of the hospital.

"Dr. Jing, thank you for your concern. If there are no other serious issues besides what I have heard. I will take your proposal into consideration." Zunnie respectfully replied.

Truthfully, she really wanted to expand the psychiatry department and hire more counselors and therapies. She already had a meeting with the head of that department and he thought it was a decision that would benefit both patients and family members.

She also wanted to open a small library where patients who had longer stays could continue their schooling during treatment.

After hearing everyone's views Zunnie was satisfied with how the meeting went. Before she left she went by every department to inspect and greet patients. Some of the patients she was familiar with her. They were cheerful upon seeing her.

The hospital had a pediatric wing and when she met Selina Gunno her brother's girlfriend she offered her a job which she gladly accepted. When Zunnie found out that Selina was a pediatrician she immediately made an effort to convince her to come work at the Bai Children's Hospital.

Zunnie became really fond of Selina after she accepted the request to stop by her office when she had time. She had visited her the following week and she was in awe of how intelligent Selina was.

On her way back to her main office, she glanced at the time. It was almost six in the evening, so she decided to drive home instead. The drive home was a long one because there was an accident which had caused a traffic jam.

She thought back to the meeting she had with the hospital staff and her mind drifted off to Alexander Zi.

She was thankful for the money he spent during the auction. She thought of his lame excuse for helping her and smiled. It had been a week and a half, and she hadn't been able to meet with him.

Zunnie reached for her wallet and pulled out the card Alex gave her the night of the gala. She flipped it to where he wrote his cell phone number.

"I call him when I get home."

When Zunnie drove into the parking garage, it was already seven and she was hungry. She had been so busy today she was able to eat the lunch her assistant bought.

Making her way to the elevator she rummaged through her bag trying to find her phone. She did not notice she was about to bump into the handsome man waiting on the elevator.

Alex was ending a call when he heard a woman's heels tapping on the floor. He turned his head to look and was surprised to see who it was. He stood there and let her bump into him like eh had not seen her.

"Ahh, I'm so sorry." Zunnie stopped trying to find her phone and raised her head to the person she had bumped into.

Her eyes grew wide in shock when she saw who it was.

"W...W…What are you...you doing here?" She stammered, and she quickly stepped back.

Even though Alex was amused at her reaction, he kept a cool face and said, "I'm going home."

"Huh..You..you live here?"

"Mhm."

"How long have you lived here?" Zunnie asked since she found it hard to believe.

"Umm… maybe three months."

"But...but…" Zunnie had no idea what to say.. She slumped to the floor unable to contain her weight. But before she hit the floor, a strong muscular arm reached out and pulled her up.

"T..Thanks," she muttered

"Wanna have dinner with me?" Alex asked, glad that she met up with him.

"Umm..I don't think that's good idea." Zunnie replied having composed herself.

When the elevator arrived, the both stepped into it. She pressed the third floor button just as Alex was about to.

"Let me guess, you live on the third floor too!" Zunnie said nonchalantly.
