An angry model walked to her parked car after the security dragged her out. She kicked the front wheel of her car and cursed;

"Mother fucker...this bitch really wants to die. Who the fuck does she think she is. Argh, she even called me trash. Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! I've never been so humiliated. You think I'm trash! I'll show you trash Zunnie Bai. I must teach her a lesson!" Victoria hissed.

After the ten minutes tantrum outside her car. She fixed her clothes, took a few breaths to calm her nerves then got in her car.

She drove around the city for twenty minutes since she had nothing to do. She thought of calling her friends, but she did not want to be around them. Instead, she picked up her phone and dialed Carson Maule's number.

----------

Carson was working at his computer when his phone rang. He looked at the caller ID and sighed when he saw who it was.

"What do you want Victoria?"

"Could you be any warmer Mr. Maule? Let's have dinner later. I want you to dig up some dirt on someone for me."

"Who is it? If it's a rival I won't. You need to find another guy to fawn over. You guys already broke up. It's been five years."

He had helped her ruin a girl's life while she studied in the states. Carson had agreed only because Victoria lied to him about what she needed the information for. When he found out what she had done, it was too late. That was the day he vowed never to give her information unless it was for a good reason. She basically knew how to cause problems for others.

"Ah, how can you say that... I haven't even said anything." She cried trying to sound aggrieved.

"Because I know you."

"Carson I've changed a lot. I'll do things the right way from now on."

"Who offended you? You only call me when you need something. I know it has to do with a girl."

"I promise I've changed. But just so you know, I went looking for Zunnie Bai. A friend told me Alex spent ten million dollars at an auction to have dinner with her. I only wanted to see who she was, but she called me trash and asked her security to take me out. Who calls their guest trash? She was so rude to me Carss. I almost cried. And there were people on the watching."

If Carson didn't know any better, he would believe Victoria. She sounded so convincing. But he knew her and her tricks. He was familiar with how she would trample on anyone trying to get with Alex.

Victoria had no idea he and Zunnie went to the same high school and that he had a crush on Zunnie. He clenched his fist until his knuckles turned white.

"You did what?" Carson seethed through clenched teeth.

"I swear I did nothing to her," Victoria whined into the phone.

"Fine let's have dinner tonight." He agreed. His black eyes were emotionless. There's no way he was going to let Victoria, or anyone hurt Zunnie Bai. He said yes to dinner simply to advise her to stay away from Zunnie Bai.

He withdrew a folder from the top drawer of his desk and flipped through the pictures he had taken of her. Two of them were of Zunnie when she was seventeen. She sat in her usual seat at their high school library. In one of them, her head was bent as she read a book in front of her. The other photo was of her smiling. He had secretly taken it when he saw the gorgeous smile she had given when her best friend Sanua whispered something he had not heard.

His cold eyes grew warm as he stroked the picture in his hand, and his full pink lips curved into a smile.

"Zunnie Bai I'm ready to try again," Carson whispered. He pulled the drawer open, gently placed the folder in it and locked the drawer.

How long has it been since he realized he was in love with her? When she had rejected him, his pride had been hurt. Even his friends had made fun of him. But after assessing Zunnie's eminence and his, he knew he wasn't good enough to stand next to her.

Even if his grades were excellent, seeing how diligent Zunnie was, Carson decided to study relentlessly to do his best. After high school, Carson went to America and double majored in information technology and business.

He thought back to the gala. He had tried his luck at the auction but Alexander Zi came out victorious.

'I need to find out what Alex is up too.' Carson thought as he picked up his keys. He took the elevator down to the garage, then drove towards Arch.deZIgns.
