Marcus and Clan Home's lawyer took the to federal officers back to the conference room in the Guild Hall building. Agent Doss was in a sensory overload. Cally was a beautiful cartoon character. Her cosplay abilities were top notch. The building they were currently in was stunning, the head of security, this Marcus Knight was one of the most intimidating he had ever met.Being in this situation, he decided to let Special Agent Winston do all the talking. These people were tossing, yes tossing a priceless crown around like a soft ball!

The lawyer, werewolf and all around 'I'm a nice guy' James Holmes was discussing with the FBI agents the aspects of the return of the Joanna crown. He was assuring the agents that it would be perfectly safe there. No, there was no reason to hire more security, add to security measures, or place the crown in a museum. This mishap was because of a misunderstanding by one Catherine Rosemount. But she had been forced to leave Clan Home as punishment. He could provide a phone number for them should they wish to ask further questions of her?

Marcus took this moment to ask, "Agents, the last time you were here, Ms. Wotan took an instant dislike to your fellow agent. I hope there are no hard feelings?" He was probing as gently as he could. This Agent Sampson was proving illusive in their investigations. Charlene Winston who had initially been slightly attracted to Marcus but had put that away after witnessing Cally sit on his lap responded. "We talked to Special Agent Keith Sampson that afternoon. He was confused as to how Ms. Wotan could have possibly known he was Wiccan. He explained he preferred not to talk about his beliefs so we have let that be. He's a professional. Other's opinions about him would not affect him."

"That's good to hear. He must have been with the agency a long time then not to allow that kind of incident to bother him?" Special Agent Charlene looked at her partner for the day and asked, "I don't know how long Keith has been with the Bureau. He came to us from cyber crimes, what a year ago?" Turning back to Marcus she smiled lightly, "I would hope all our agents would act accordingly, regardless of their time with the Bureau."

Knowing Marcus had asked and received all he could on the black witch, James asked if the Special Agents would care to go see the crown. Gladys and Sarah probably would have unpacked the crown and placed it with the other treasures from the County of Santa Irelia by now. "Would you care to go over and see what all the fuss was about?" With his 'I'm a nice guy' smile firmly in place anyone would trust and feel assured by him. However FBI agents knew any successful lawyer was not and never would be 'a nice guy'. Finalizing the rest of the paperwork the special agents walked over to the archives and research building.

It was a mad house. Cally had sent over everything available from her time in Santa Irelia. There was a couple of tapestries. One of which depicted the battle of the invading Turks and a saint like figure standing alone and surrounded by the dead. Another tapestry was of the same woman standing before a castle on what appeared to be a pedestal before an adoring crowd. Other art works were of oaken figurines, an ivory relief carving that would have been found in a church or chapel and the pieces that the team knew of from the manifest of the ship Esmeralda. Comparisons were being made to rediscovered tombs. Gladys and Sarah had their hands full trying to control the researchers and scientists.

James led the FBI agents in and allowed them to walk around and look for a bit before offering them refreshments at another location. This offer was refused but Special Agent Doss did work about enough courage and was able to lose his professionalism long enough to ask if he could take some selfies. Charlene Winston was appalled. Until he received permission and decided her former college roommates would be green with envy and also jumped on board. After that they bid farewell and went back to their field office.

At 5 pm sharp the researchers and photographer were loaded into the van and taken into town. They were treated to a scrumptious dinner and told they could return at 9 am the next day.The excitement level was at epic proportions. No one would be able to sleep except maybe the photographer.

As everyone was settling in for the night, Cally and the girls were enjoying ice cream that Cally had made. Enjoying the show 'America's Got Talent' while eating a bucket of Bourbon-Butter-Salted Pecan Ice Cream, Cally slowly turned her head to the balcony. She finished her spoon full of ice cream and dropped her spoon on the table. "Girls, it's time y'all went to bed. Don't you think?"

"Huh? But the show? We just got started on the ice cream! Cally!"Cally stood and with a rare no nonsense expression and simply pointed to the hallway leading to the bedrooms. "Go. You can finish the show and the ice cream in your room." The girls stood reluctantly and slowly walked out. Cally urged them on with "Shoo!"
