Rino, Raven and Mamoru look weirdly at Hideyoshi who was drowning himself with beer. Not once since childhood did they see this man acting this way.

"Just what the hell is your problem?" Mamoru asked as he took the mug from Hideyoshi.

"I just don't get it. Why are all of you settling down? Are you no longer enjoying this? The freedom of being not married?" Hideyoshi asked them in a drunk stuppor.

This greatly confused the three of them. Is there a problem with them settling down? It's not like they would end up being caged.

WIth a sigh, they sat down. Mamoru was beside him while Raven and Rino sat across them. Hideyoshi grabbed back his mug from Mamoru as he drank more.

"*sigh* What scares you Hideyoshi? This is something you've never done before," Raven asked after a few moment of silence.

Rino looked at Raven, he noticed it since this morning this man seemed to be a bit different. His voice seemed strained as well. Even during their sparring, he seemed to be not exerting his real strength.

Hideyoshi, on the other hand, stopped raising his mug in mid air before slowly putting it down. Raven's tone was not that of anger or impatience instead he was asking with patience and calmness.

It was this tone that both he and Mamoru were used in getting back when they were kids, when either of them were throwing tantrums, the always silent Raven would sit with them and asked in a tone that allowed anyone to calm down and say what really it is that they want.

"I don't know. Hearing that you guys are planning on settling down. I just felt weird about it. We have been together for so long, the three of us were together since we were kids. Just the thought of all of us going separate ways. I felt bad about it. Damn what am I saying, this sounds gay..."

He drank his remaining beer in one go and slams the mug down the table. Even he was unsure of what he is feeling right now. He felt agitated but at the same time he felt confusion.

Not long after his head dropped to the table, completely out. The guys didn't even got the chance to speak to him after his sentence. Rino and Mamoru looked at Raven who was looking silently at Hideyoshi.

"He had always been a sensitive person, suddenly hearing his friends going their way and having new priorities, he couldn't seem to wrap his head around it easily. He must have felt lonely," Raven said as he took the mug and pour beer on it.

After drinking it, "Let's bring him home and contact Feena. She might be able to help him more than us."

Just as he stood, he swayed. Rino who was looking at him closely was able to support him instantly.

"You're sick," Rino said after touching his forehead.

"*heavy sigh* I overworked."

He looked at Hideyoshi who was being supported by Mamoru, before he laughed bitterly, "Feena is there for him... It's been... six... months..."

His voice slowly died down as he too fell unconscious.

"Go bring Hideyoshi home, I shall bring Raven to Akito. He seemed to really have overworked," Rino said as he shifted Raven's position.

"Six months... Could he be?" for the first time Mamoru heard Raven with such heavy tone.

With a bitter smile, "I'm amazed he was able to hold on for six months without showing signs of depression. Obviously he must have missed her so much."

With a look the two of them went there own ways, sending the two guys to their separate destination.

*****

"He finally went down?" Akito said upon seeing Rino bring in Raven.

"Were you waiting?" Rino asked.

"No, but I noticed him acting like her during this month. When she didn't bother resting at all."

Rino didn't stay longer and left Raven to Akito. The hospital was not that far from the castle so he decided to just walk. It was not yet that late but the sun have gone down two hours ago already.

As he sat quietly in his office, a soft knock disrupted his thoughts.

"The servants noticed that you returned looking down. Is there something wrong?"

It was Akihiro who came in, seeing the sad look in Rino's eyes. He became worried.

"Raven fell sick," Rino said as he stood up and walked out to the balcony.

"Did he overwork? You have to remind him to take better care of his body," Akihiro's reply was instant, as he followed Rino.

After a short silence.

"He had always been by my side, yet I didn't notice the changes he had after all of us started gathering together," Rino sighed as he spoke.

"What had happened?"

"We have neglected the fact that he could also miss someone as time goes by. And that only strengthens as he watched us get together all over again."

He was feeling bad for Raven, he had willingly listened to all their worries. He took great care with the issues around the kingdom. He was not negligent even to his family. But no one will always be fine.

Rino laughed bitterly, "No wonder they are a great match, they love keeping to themselves when they are feeling down. And they could hide it pretty well."

Akihiro listened silently. He was acting fine as well back then, when he lost Haruka. He was also sleeping just fine and eating quite well.

He only noticed it after a few months, he was eating that's right. But he couldn't really taste the food.

He was sleeping just fine, but he was always half asleep. His sleep was shallow that small movements would wake him up.

"Sometimes, even the person involved wouldn't notice that they themselve are actually missing that person greatly," he looked out to the shinning city as he spoke what was on his mind.

"Then, is there nothing we can do father? What did uncle Yukimura and the others do for you? How did you cope up after so long?"

"They listened, they attentively listened to everything I had to stay. They didn't push their beliefs on me but instead just listened."

"Do you think that would be enough for him? He was as stubborn as that girl, he wouldn't really speak up on his own."

"During conversations he will eventually slowly open up, just wait patiently."

He clasped Rino's shoulder as he said giving him a gentle smile.

*****

Hideyoshi groaned as he opened his eyes, he's currently having a major headache. He felt like his surrounding was spinning but soon focused after feeling someone sit on his bed and placed a wet towel in his forehead.

"You're awake? Your mother is currently cooking some soup for your hangover. Do you think you can eat?" Feena asked as she looked at him.

"What time is it?" HIdeyoshi asked as he sat down, taking a hold of the towel.

"It's close to midnight. Since you drank quite early aunt Ayaka said that you might wake up by midnight with a massive headache. Seems true, you indeed woke up," she replied as she took the towel from him and placed it back to the basin in the table.

Hideyoshi just looked at her. He was not the same as those who drinks and would forget whatever they said when morning comes. He can still clearly remember what he had blurt out while drinking a while ago.

Feeling his gaze, Feena looked back at him before smiling, "Don't go throwing tantrums towards your friends who are preparing to enter married life."

Hideyoshi had no rebuke, he indeed just threw a tantrum a while ago.

He sighed, "That was so gay."

Feena chuckled as she held his hand resting on the blanket, "You know Hideyoshi. Things like marriage and having your own family isn't something you decide just because your friends do so."

He looked at her confused.

She smiled and played with his fingers as she continued, "For those who have decided to do so knows that doing it will make them happier than their current condition. But just because they are getting married doesn't mean that the friendship they  built with the others would disappear."

Without waiting for him to speak she kept going, "Look at our parents, isn't it that their bond is still strong? There are times where they would not meet each other for a year or so but when they do meet. It's like the time they spent apart was nothing. They could chat as if they chatted just yesterday."

He looked away after listening to her words, he truly felt ashamed to how he had acted a while ago. But he just suddenly felt at lost upon hearing his friends getting married.

"HIdeyoshi."

He heard her calm and gentle voice, he knew if he felt conflicted over his friends marriage. She must feel envy, a woman of her age have marriage on their minds at some point in time, especially when their friends are starting to get engage one after another.

"Hideyoshi, look at me."

He was conflicted but he still looked at her. The moment he turned his head, he felt her soft lips on his. After she moved away, she gave him a gentle and sweet smile.

"Allow them to get married and start their own family. All of us have our own time, don't rush yourself to be ready when you really are not yet. Take it slowly and surely there will come a time where you would want to start your own family as well."

'Though I hope it really won't take too long,' in her mind she stuck out her tongue as she added this.

Hideyoshi who was lost for word was first shock before all his conflicted feelings calmed down.

"Thank you," with a smile he pulled her into a tight hug.

*Cough cough*

As the two of them hug each other, they heard a cough by the door. Abruptly pulling away both of their faces turned bright red.

"What do you think Kohei? Does your son still need this soup? It felt like his headache have long disappeared."

"Keep quiet now Ayaka and leave the two of them alone. We seemed to have disturb something," Kohei replied as he look down at his mischievous wife.

"FATHER!! MOTHER!!" his blush reached his neck as he called out for his parents.
