This was the first time Klautz had used his Dejection Jutsu. The reason being it was not something meant to be used on monsters. And Klautz had never felt the need to use it on any human before in this life.

The girl was attacking Klautz from multiple directions. It left Klautz wondering how she was able to put in and take out her sword from her inventory at such a fast rate as it was impossible for her to teleport along with it!

"She must have trained specifically for it," Klautz whispered.

*swish*

Klautz swung his sword but she ducked her head to dodge it with a cut mark forming on her chin and one of her braids being chopped off.

Yet, that wasn't the only injury Klautz had delivered to the girl. She was bleeding from several orifices.

"Ha… ha." But her grit knew no bounds. She was panting as she caught her breath.

There was another reason why she was persisting with the match. It was because Klautz kept her under the impression that she was pushing him back. With every clash, Klautz decreased his strength; holding back to motivate her further. After all, why would you want to leave a winning match?

Klautz had to do this so that he could deliver the final blow at the last moment without scaring her off! For a scared prey will use the teleportation skill to save herself.

"Stop dodging, you worm!" she screamed seemingly annoyed as evident by her pinched expression.

Eli had a class that could be considered as nothing fancy. It was called [Wolf Teleporter] and was not a secret class. But there was something special about it. It allowed her to fight till the last breath and yet escape alive.

Meanwhile, Stefan was torn as to what he should do. He watched as Klautz was being pushed back by Eli.

"If this continues he would die!" He gasped. Little did he know that all of that fell within Klautz's calculations.

Stefan doesn't want yet another death by her hands, yet he couldn't step in to stop her. There was a fundamental difference between the woman before and Klautz. And the difference was that Klautz was fighting back!

"How can I fight with him and stand against Eli? Only when he is in mortal danger I would step in and try to stop and persuade her."

Little did he know that his assumptions were all but a farce.

Eli and Klautz fought tooth and nail. Klautz was waiting for just a moment of negligence on her part to deliver the finishing blow. She had to die before she could even realize it.

It was then...

An arrow came flying in towards the girl's direction. The girl dodged with a bit of difficulty. This was followed by several arrows directed at her.

"Arrows?" Klautz raised his brows. "Dammit, it is them!"

Klautz gritted his teeth. His face burned with fury as he flared his nostrils.

'Didn't I told them to stay behind and wait there? Now if they get themselves killed would that make them satisfied?'

Still gritting his teeth, he formed his left hand into a claw. Fiery particles began accumulating into the palm finally forming into a ball of fire. The ball grew larger and larger...

"Take this!" He swung his arm towards Eli. The ball of fire left his grasp.

[User used Probationer. Uses: 5/5]

With no further notice, the ring on his index finger broke apart into two. He had exhausted the durability of the item.

The fireball was aimed towards Eli. It was big with an 8-meter diameter but alas it was slow, nothing that she couldn't dodge. And that's what she did as took some side steps. She didn't even bother using her teleportation. The fireball went straight and incinerated the spruce on its way.

The burning spruce tree passed its fire to the next and its successor did the same. It was like the trees were passing the torch of inheritance from one generation to the other. It was a marvelous sight. Little by little all of the surrounding trees were caught onto flames causing a forest fire in the middle of nowhere! The fireball of the probationer packed quite a lot of energy.

Verona who was hiding behind the bushes and shooting arrows to aid Klautz could only step back as even the bushes caught onto the fire.

*Cough*

She couldn't help but cough as the smoke rose to her nostrils.

"Ah," she squeaked as she stepped back. The heat was causing her to sweat profusely.

Eli turned towards Klautz.

"What a half-ass move. It was so slow that even babies could dodge it easily," Eli said holding onto her hips while the red forest fires were reflected in her emerald green eyes. The mesmerizing sight was enough to make her forget the battle for a moment. "Are you sure you are okay in the head?" She said directing towards Klautz.

"I was but an apprentice mage. Elemental attacks were never my forte." Klautz said as he smirked and took his stance. One might argue against his statement but Klautz indeed had the apprentice mage class in his previous life.

His fire might not have harmed Eli but at least his fire was able to chase off Verona. But was that all?

"Trust me, you must not partake in it for you are terrible at it," Eli said as she seemed genuinely worried as her eyebrows drew together. But her actions showed otherwise as she charged towards Klautz.

*Clash*

Their swords clashed but this time Klautz almost used a strength of 30. He was using more strength than before. She could feel the pressure as both of them were equally matched.

Klautz was definitely up to something notorious.

"Thanks. I will keep that in mind, Eli," he said while smirking as both of them were at point-blank range.
