Klautz took deep breaths as he calmed himself down. The veins on his forehead subsided as little by little his anger subsided.
No matter how much anger he felt he wasn't the type to act foolish.

"What happened?" Verona asked, "Are the contents of the letter true?"

"Most of it is fabricated. But I did sleep with a girl that night. I won't deny it."
Klautz didn't feel any shame. Why should he deny it?
