Klautz had tried his best to order the ones behind him to move away from the place while he engaged her. He could only use sign languages behind his back to direct them.

Worse of it all! He couldn't even look behind himself, to figure out if they had left or not with Dina in front of him.

Alas! How could he have predicted? That the newbies would only tilt their head in confusion as they glanced at Klautz weird hand signs.

After all, none of them were ninjas. They could hardly understand what those strategic signs meant which came naturally Klautz.

Using hand signs? That came but as second nature to the ninjas. But for these fledgelings it was hard to figure it out.

"Eh? Klautz? Are you there? What is in them?"

Dina asked this time making it a bit more forceful raising the tone of her voice.

"They are…"

Klautz had probably already raised her suspicions.

It was hard for Klautz to accept what they were, especially when he had little to no grasp of the situation he was in. Dina had indeed popped out of nowhere startling him to his wits ends.

It was then…

"Ah! Klautz. You guys are back!"

Shizu interjected between the two of them, taking the course of conversation in a different direction directed towards herself as the center. As Shizu got involved with Dina herself, Klautz was able to direct the others to move and hide their stuff.

'Thank you Shizu for helping me in a pinch.'

Klautz turned around as he glanced at the two of them. But, Klautz couldn't help but direct his gaze to Selena who had followed behind Shizu and she too responded to Klautz with a smile.

'… or was it someone else?' Klautz pondered.

"Say you are quite excited about him coming back, aren't cha?" she directed it at Shizu with a smirk.

"Ah, does it seem like that? I am just working hard so that my group can win."

It was somehow that both of them were on completely different pages. But both of them understood the underlying intentions well. The deadlock between them wasn't going to revert any time soon.

Dina sighed. It was regrettable but she didn't want it this way.

"Why do you take me for an enemy? We are but kindred souls best suited to be friends. And I ain't even competing with you on this. Everyone knows Benton would be winning this time around. There is no point in wasting breath on something that is impossible to do and yet sours our bonds now is there?"

Dina shrugged. She was among the selected few who believed that working on this competition was rather futile, so she had given up on it from the very beginning and loafed around like a fool. First it was in Xia's group and now it was in Shizu's.

She was confident in herself and believed that she could build good connection without even going through the hassle called the 'newbie camp'.

"No," Shizu whispered.

But her motivations were different. Connections? With her reputation there was no chance that she would be gaining any.

She shook her head sideways with all of her force.

"We are going to win this!"

Dina stared at her clenching her fist with raised brows. It took a while for her to come back to reality.

"Eh? Is that even possible… with Benton being helped by the… "

She stopped as she brought her fingers to her lips, pondered a bit and then continued.

"Well, if that is what you believe then suit yourself. Doesn't change the fact that I ain't competing. I am no one to say anything regarding your decisions and motivations am I? And in the first place I came to meet Klautz."

'Come again? She came to meet me? Is her head possibly  in a bad shape?' Klautz thought.

It was simply too absurd that she would have anything to do with him.

'Its probably an excuse. I wonder what kind of animosity she bears against our group.'

It was clear that the girl was using Klautz as a shield planning to use him as she forced her footing into the group to actually resort to an offensive move.

But before he knew it he had his arms squashed in between her breasts as Klautz was being pulled along despite his willingness.

"He He, let's go to some quiet place."

"Wait… Wait!"

Klautz applied a bit of force , stopping her in her tracks. Even if she pulled with all of her force causing her breasts to be flattened against his arm it didn't work at all.

A deadlock formed between the two of them. She pulled more but it was of no use.

'This girl is damn hungry!'

She turned her head to face him as her cheeks fluffed up into a pout.

"That won't do. You are fine with doing it with her so why not me? I promise that I will give you some nice rewards if you come."

Knowing that she was indeed weaker than Klautz. This was all she had to say. The rumors that Klautz had cheated against his battle against Colt were certainly no lie… but she couldn't care about it any less.

"Seriously? What are you looking for out of it?" Klautz glared at her.

Klautz wasn't dense enough to not know what was going on. But it seemed more like a big trap rather than some booty call. Dina's whimperings seemed more like she was entitled for it rather than appearing as that of a thirsty slut.

Klautz couldn't let himself sink in it.

But his defence was much more slack than he could have ever imagined it to be.

All Dina did was smirk.

She came back as her index finger poked on Klautz's chest. Slowly but steadily it began sinking down.
