The appearance of a big-ass scythe drew their attention as the robber was sure he shot him at the head as the blood dripping from his head proves that but he can't fathom why Kira isn't dead and now brought out a scythe out of nowhere.
"Don't come closer 'hero'!! You take another step and this guy's brains will be all over this wall!!" The robber defensively took the guy as a hostage and aimed his gun on the head.

Kira didn't say anything else as his icely-blue eyes glowed looking at the unnerve robber like a dead man walking then he suddenly disappeared.

They both looked around trying to find Kira but then the robber noticed him behind him like a ghost.

Purely on a reflex, he turned and tried to aim at him but before he could fully turn at him, the robber's hand, along with his gun, flew in the air.

It took the robber and his hostage a moment to realize what just happened as the hostage broke free and hid behind Kira while the robber kneeled and screamed in agony.
"Ahhhhh!!! MY HAND!! MY HAND, YOU F*CKER!! IT HURTS!!"

Kira didn't say anything as he approached the screaming robber who was hurriedly backing away in fright from him.

The robber hysterically said as his hostage earlier already called it in but he realizes that Kira hadn't stopped at all and was still approaching the robber until he was only an arm's length from him.

A tense atmosphere is felt by the robber and the other guy as Kira looked at the robber.
"You know... I must thank you… because of you, I know what I must do… I'll shred this society down to its very roots, and with information you've said, I have thought of something… what are heroes without villains… shall we find out?" Kira commented slowly much to the fear and shock of both the robber and the other guy.

"I know… I remember a quote, 'the only ones who should kill, are those who are prepared to be killed' and now… it's your turn," Kira said calmly as he spun his scythe professionally.

Kira spun his scythe to get rid of the blood from it and placed it back to his inventory. He didn't spare a glance towards the other guy as he made his way back to the hospital. He didn't care about the guy reporting his face as even though he was shot earlier, his hoodie was still on his head covering his face.
Due to his improved physique, he barely took that shot. Fortunately, he wasn't knocked out by the force.
As he was halfway to the hospital, he finally heard police sirens but he still continued on his way.

The next day came and it was on the news about a villain with a scythe that kills in cold blood. Kira noticed they didn't say anything about the guy that was killed is a robber but he didn't dwell on it as he continued his daily missions but as he noticed his level being higher than before, his daily mission increased in kind as well.

During his stay in the hospital, he got bored with doing nothing so he took his time completing his daily missions in peace as the staff including his doctor stopped pestering him on to stop my daily runs.
Because his nurse and doctor finally visited him and checked his knife wound but instead they were shocked to see that Kira's wound was like it wasn't even there as there was not even a scar. They reasoned to themselves that it may be the work of Kira's latent quirk awakening but he didn't bother in correcting it as he continued his daily routine.
Even though he knows that he just killed someone, he didn't feel any different, no psychotic episode, no nightmares, or even worse, no guilt. He felt like he just killed an ordinary monster in a dungeon instead of a fellow human but as he remembered what happened that night, he still felt like it was the right decision.

"Hey, punk! Can't you see we're talking? Go somewhere else while I'm still being nice about it," The big guy in a suit yelled at him but he didn't reply and continued on his way to his door.
His neighbor smirked maliciously at him as the big guy grew angry by ignoring him as he approached Kira from his back.
"You brought this on yourself punk! Hah!" the big guy yelled while taking a right swing towards the back of Kira's head while his fist turned to ice.

"UURG! You'll get it now! Ugh! I'll come back later with my whole gang on your ass!" the big guy threatened as he slowly stood back up and ran away.
His neighbor became pale white as he looked at the big guy's departing back then looked at Kira in anger.
"You f*cking Quirkless fool! Do know what you just did! That guy's gang is being backed up by a high up hero! Now their-Hey wait! Listen to me!!" The neighbor yelled out in frustration but he stopped when Kira ignored him and entered his room without sparing him a glance.

Kirei's companions are still laughing while following them as they all drive off towards their boss' mansion. They got orders to bring in Kira to see who would be brave enough to mess with his minions.

'Hmm, typical hideout place of a crime syndicate,' Kira thought of as he was led inside.
After a few more minutes, they arrived in a big hall with a guy in a weird costume sitting at the far end of it.
"Welcome! It is I, Captain Shadow, the #20 hero. I welcome you kid in my mansion, I heard that you took down Kirei with one blow, and with that kind of quirk, I could use someone as young as you so you are here to take my offer to join my glorious crew!" Captain Shadow exclaimed excitedly while standing up and brought out his arms like he was basking in a limelight.

Unfortunately, when he said that, Kira saw the robber he killed saying the exact same thing. He looked at his crew and all of their eyes are the same as their boss and at that, he made up his mind.
Kirei and his crew were about to grab him but he suddenly disappeared from their view much to the shock of all of them including Captain Shadow as he barely saw him move but he knew that it was the kid's speed.
"You know… I really doubted my reasoning when I killed that robber… I really wanted to hope that his thinking was only an isolated one but now, you proved to me, a #20 hero, that is not the case any longer…" Kira's voice rang out to the entire hall as they all looked over to find him.
"I planned to curb my earlier intention in eradicating villains as I reasoned with myself that it was due to the circumstance but now… the hardest choices require the strongest wills and now, I'll steady my beliefs," Kira's voice continued much to the nervousness of Kirei's crew while at Captain Shadow just smirked in arrogance.
