At night.
After a few hours in, Kira and Akame were finishing their nightly walk when they encountered a girl that looked similar to Akame.
She looked like a younger version of Akame, only her hair was shorter.
"I finally found you… sister," The girl commented as she unsheathed a sword on her waist.
"...Kurome," Akame's eyes changed to that of a Sharingan as she also unsheathed her sword.
"That's new," Kurome commented as she noticed Akame's eyes while smirking at her. .
"I got to say sister, I would never guess you would be with the infamous Kira of all people," Kurome said as she narrowed her eyes at them while her sword starting to emit dark purple electric-like arks at the same time she noticed the ground the both of them were standing on was covered in darkness.
"Everyone says you're the great savior that many prayed for and that it's a matter of time before this kingdom falls into your hands… I also heard you stood in front of an army numbering in thousands of armed soldiers and that you alone managed to destroy those soldiers like they were nothing," Kurome commented as she smirked at Kira, who was standing still like his attention was elsewhere.
"You might fool everyone… but I don't see it," Kurome said but at the same time, Akame felt irritated at that remark.
"...Whether it's true or a fraud, I simply do not care... All I want is to kill… my sister," Kurome said as her sword emitted dark purple lights then 8 silhouettes started to crawl out of the ground.
Five of them looked human but the other three were some big Gorilla, a giant frog, and the biggest of them all was a bony dinosaur-like beast.
Though Kurome didn't notice it when she declared her intention about Akame, Kira's glowing red eyes suddenly turned to her while he maintained his poker face.
"Don't… It's my burden to bear," Akame quickly stood in front of Kira.
Due to their time they spent together, Akame instantly noticed Kira's killing intent and she was sure if she didn't stop him just now, Kurome would be headless right now.
"What's this? Kira is being protected by my dear sister herself," Kurome commented as she saw Akame guarding Kira behind her.
Though Akame and Kira didn't respond to her as she saw the both of them looking at each other in silence.
"...Alright," Kira nodded at her as the shadow beneath them started to recede to him much to Kurome's curiosity.
Kurome focused her attention on Akame as she took a bottle then she suddenly opened it and chugged every pill inside it. As soon as she did it, countless veins became visible from her body while her eyes are now bloodshot.
"To kill the one you love… If someone else will do it anyway, I'd rather do it myself," Kurome muttered as the grip on her sword tightened.
Without a second later, she charged at Akame with her sword at hand while all of her puppets attacked Kira with all of their might.
*Clang!*
Kurome's blade clashed with Akame's, but Kurome's attack pushed Akame from her spot. Kurome didn't let up as she followed Akame relentlessly with powerful swings.
Despite taking in her month's worth of meds, Kurome couldn't still land a clean at Akame. She overpowers her to a degree, but she noticed Akame was getting faster and faster as they fought longer.
She knew she had to finish this fight as soon as possible because of the drugs but she couldn't find any blind spots at all and what's worse is that Akame was getting better as time passed.
While both sisters were locked in a battle to the death, Kira was calmly facing the puppets of Kurome.
The five human puppets were four men and one woman. The dudes brandished their different weapons and jumped at Kira while the girl brought out a pair of pistols and aimed it at Kira. Behind them were the gorilla and frog making their way at him also while the dinosaur started building up blue energy in front of its mouth.
Kira kept his calm look but as soon they came into range, his 7' long Nodachi materialized in his right hand at the same time the only girl there fired her pistols at his eyes.

The girl smirked in victory as she timed it perfectly but that quickly changed.
Kira half-heartedly swung his sword at them as he hit all of their weapons all at once. Despite the lack of effort on his part, the force behind that swing caused all of their weapons to either break into two or fly out of their hands.
They widened their eyes at this but before they could even come to their senses, Kira swung again but this time it was twice as fast that the puppets couldn't even react to it.
*Slick*
Kira's sword seamlessly passed through them all then without missing a beat, Kira swatted the bullets coming his way and directed it back to the girl who fired it all in one breath.
Kira then placed his sword to the sides at the same time all of the men in front of him simultaneously crashed to the ground and split into two from their waist while the girl only saw her bullets coming back to her before seeing nothing else.
Despite the state of their fellow puppets, the remaining puppets didn't spare a glance at them as a large tongue suddenly made to Kira at the same time, the gorilla jumped to the air and brought out its arms over its head, intending to crush Kira.
Kira's arm holding his sword suddenly blurred then before the tongue could even get close to him, it started to fall apart, piece by piece.
The Gorilla was less than two meters away from Kira when it suddenly froze in the air. On its chest was a black blade embedded in it and protruding through its back.
Kira was calmly looking at the beast in front of him while his sword was stabbed in its chest.
It tried to break free from it and charge again but before it could even touch the blade, Kira effortlessly swung the gorilla to the frog with enough force to send both puppets flying.
Kira then turned his attention to the dinosaur as it started to aim at him.
He turned his head to look at Akame's fight behind him and noticed she was in the range of that dinosaur's attack.
With that in mind, the sword in his hand started to morph into a large black scythe, easily twice his size in comparison. Despite its size though, he casually spun his scythe to the sides as the blade of the scythe started to glow in red.
A moment later, the dino-puppet fired its strongest attack at him as a giant blue beam of energy made its way in his direction.
Kira looked on calmly as Kurome behind him momentarily paused and grew anxious as she noticed that she was in its blast range though she also realizes that Akame still has this calm expression on her face.
Kurome curiously looked onto Kira when he did something that even though all that training she has been through the years, what she saw shocked her.
As the large beam was getting closer, Kira drew out his giant scythe then with a speed she couldn't even follow, his swing blurred but the loud noise from breaking the sound barrier rung out everywhere.
She opened her mouth in shock when a giant red blade beam effortlessly cut through her puppet's strongest attack and even her dino-puppet entirely was cut into two, vertically.
The red blade beam didn't stop though, it continued despite crashing on a mountain and cutting it into two.
After a few moments, even Akame couldn't help but marvel at Kira's power. Despite seeing his strength that made her feel weak, she vowed to herself that someday, she will be worthy of staying by his side.
"Huh… maybe I should've kept using the sword instead of a scythe," Kira muttered as ever since he maxed out his proficiency in handling a scythe, it instantly became overkill whenever he used his scythe. This is the whole reason why he preferred using a sword instead of a scythe nowadays.
When he confronted Esdeath back then, his scythe proficiency wasn't maxed yet unlike now.
Kira's scythe dissipated back to his shadow as he turned to look at Akame.
Akame, seeing Kira looking at her, nodded and turned her attention back to her sister while Kurome noticed their interaction.
Now that Kurome thought about it, she finally noticed that despite the combined attacks of her puppets, Kira didn't so much as move from his spot, and based on the look of boredom on his face, he wasn't even making any effort except for that last attack.
With that in mind, she knew she never stood a chance against him. Fortunately, she didn't come here for him.
She didn't know why, but she became increasingly irritated at her sister when she saw their gaze towards each other. When they were young, she was always with her sister but when they started training, she was always left behind, she was always overshadowed by her, and when Akame rebelled, she was once again left behind by her.
She knew taking those drugs all at once will take a toll on her body that might even lead to her death but she didn't care. She wanted nothing more than to prove to her sister that she wasn't inferior to her, she wanted her to acknowledge her strength even with the cost of her life.
"Come... sister!" Kurome yelled as she charged again as Akame did the same thing.
Kira silently watched them though he noticed that they weren't alone. It was a guy that somehow reminded him of Tatsumi except for his short dark blue hair and eyes.
Kira also noticed the guy was anxiously watching Kurome with a sword at hand, ready to intervene at any moment.
He looked at him for a while deciding if he should take care of it but seeing his attention focused on Kurome, he let it slide and turned back to watch Kurome and Akame fight.
After a few minutes, Kurome started slowing down while Akame on the other hand is getting faster than before and Kurome has a gut feeling it's from her eyes. If Akame was close to Kira as she assumed, her new eyes would be anything but ordinary, and based on their fight so far, she had every right to assume she was right.
Naturally, if Kurome herself noticed this, all of them watching also did while the guy spectating Kurome tightens his grip on his sword.
As the minutes passed by, Kurome finally slipped and Akame took her chance and swung her Masamune with enough force to Kurome's sword.
Caught by the Akame in surprise, Kurome could only widen her eyes as her sister destroyed her sword in front of her and sent her flying.
By the time she was sent flying, the guy spectating didn't hesitate any longer and hurriedly rushed to Kurome's aid at the same time, he was suddenly enveloped by light then he came out with a full set of armor similar to Bulat's only in navy blue in color instead of white.
"KUROME!!" The guy yelled out as he quickly stood in front of Kurome protectively.
"...Wave *Cough*" Kurome muttered as she coughed up blood, much to Wave's worry.
Kira calmly walked over to Akame as they both curiously looked at their interactions.
"You IDIOT!! Why the hell did you take all of those at once!?" Wave scolds her as he slowly approaches Kurome while maintaining his eye on Akame and Kira.
"And I told you *Cough* I needed to do this *Cough*Idiot," Kurome weakly argued to him while Akame sheathed her sword and looked at Kira then placed her hand over her stomach.
"Shut up and just wait right there!" Wave yelled back while Kira noticed Akame's simple gesture then he took out a pair of Ice cream from his inventory and handed her one.
"I refuse to let you die here," Wave muttered lowly that Kurome barely managed to hear while Kira and Akame ate their Ice creams and watched them curiously.
"...lame," Kurome replied calmly while a slight blush could be seen on her face while Akame suddenly tried to take a bite of Kira's Ice cream.
"HMPH! I DON'T CARE! You want to get to Kurome? You have to go through me first!" Wave yelled out loud as he readied his sword for the fight for his life while Kira expertly dodged every single one of Akame's attempts much to her increasing irritation.
After their talk, Kurome and Wave finally noticed that both Kira and Akame were hardly paying them any attention at all as Kira successfully took a bite of Akame's Ice cream.
"..."
After a few seconds, Kira and Akame finally stopped as they realized Wave and Kurome were already finished with their drama and that their Ice creams were already gone.
*Cough*
Kurome coughed blood again as she suddenly fell face first while Wave panicked instantly and went beside her.
Kira narrowed his eyes on them much to their wariness as they still remember what Kira did earlier.
"Akame… I won't let you kill someone you love," Kira muttered to Akame as she looked at him silently.
Kira held out his hand as a green vial appears on it then he threw it at Wave much to his confusion.
"Let her drink it… A word of advice, get out of the Capital now," Kira commented much to Wave and Kurome confusion but to prove his point, his shadow suddenly expanded then giant creatures emerged from it, looking at them both with malice.
Kurome and Wave suddenly went white at the sight of these monsters as they both trembled slightly in fear.
"I won't repeat myself," Kira said as Akame suddenly held his hand and intertwined their fingers then suddenly both of them became enveloped by black smoke and a gargoyle replaced them in their spot.
The Gargoyle looked at them for a while then it flew at the highest place it could see as Kurome and Wave watched it.
Wave looked at the vial then he handed it to Kurome who was coughing blood again as her face started to pale.
They both silently looked at the vial with wariness until Wave couldn't take seeing Kurome in pain anymore so he took the vial and emptied its contents on his mouth then kissed Kurome before she could even react.
As they let go of each other, Wave noticed that Kurome's pale face started to regain a bit of color. He was so happy that he wanted to kiss Kurome again but her hands stopped him from moving any closer.
"Hehehe, so-Mmm!!" Wave was about to apologize when Kurome pulled Wave's head toward her and kissed him.
As morning came, both of them disappeared from the Capital.

A few days have gone by.
Kira and Akame are both inside a barren dungeon, sparring with each other. Akame wielded her katana, Murasame while Kira parried everything she threw at him with his black Nodachi.
They had been at it for an hour when Akame suddenly retreated and looked at Kira seriously.
"...Use it… use your scythe," Akame said as her eyes changed to the Sharingan while blue electric arks could be seen appearing from her hand to her sword.
Akame knew a few months ago that Kira wasn't proficient in wielding a sword but despite this, she could hardly make him use his scythe. Whenever they would go into a dungeon, he would always use his black Nodachi to fend off anything his way.
"...Ok," Kira said as his Nodachi morphed into a large black scythe.
Akame stared warily at the sight of the scythe but then Kira spun his scythe and swung it to the ground at his side.
*Boom!*
Akame widened her eyes when the ground beside him cracked and buckled as a giant slash formed on the ground.
*Gulp*
Akame unconsciously gulped but she shook it off as she made a charge at him.
Kira matched her speed then both of them clashed in the middle but Akame was forced to fly due to the force of it. She quickly embedded her Murasame at the ground to stop her flight but just as she stopped, her eyes widened as she ducked down just in time the scythe's blade passed over her head.
While ducked down, Akame quickly sent out a slash at Kira but as she expected, he stopped it with his scythe.
At that, both of them started to fight close quarters but after a few exchanges, Kira swung his scythe, and with it, Akame's Murasame in her hands, flew a few meters away from them but Akame didn't want to give up just yet.
At the same time, her Mursame flew from her hand, she tackled Kira to the ground then tried to pin him to the ground but Kira easily turned the tables on her as he pinned her to the ground instead.
Kira let his scythe dissipate as both of them stared at each other then they couldn't help but laugh lightly at each other.
"…I almost won," Akame commented as she smiled at him.
"It was fun though," Kira said as he smirked at her.
"...*Pout*... I still lost," Akame said as she pouted lightly.
"But you're getting stronger... I guess you can now match Esdeath," Kira replied with a smile.
Akame smiled at that remark but her attention was suddenly drawn to his lips as she unconsciously stared at it. Kira noticed her but he didn't move away as both of them leaned closer to each other.
*BOOOM!!*
Just as their lips were about to touch, an explosion rang out not far away from them.
They both stopped and grew irritated as they looked at who disturbed them. They saw Cerberus in front of them innocently wagging its tail (or snake from behind) while on its mouths were the limbs of the dungeon boss.
At that, both of them stood up and gathered every one of Kira's minions while Akame rubbed Cerberus' belly for its reward. Minutes went by as they both made their way out of the dungeon.
As the two of them stepped outside, the morning sun instantly hit them.
Both of them went inside the house as Akame went to the bathroom while Kira took off his sweaty shirt then started cooking their lunch.
In the mornings, Kira would always cook their breakfast as Akame wasn't a morning person. After breakfast, both of them would do their individual daily exercises then go to the dungeon to either spar or grind levels until lunchtime.
After lunch, they would freshen up then either play any game they could think of or relax at the pool until they go hungry again. Though on some days, they would go on Danger Beast hunts together while riding his motorbike everywhere.
During those times, they did encounter some sick people experimenting in creating humanoid Danger Beasts. They both found their base purely by accident while driving aimlessly.
Though that didn't matter when in the end, the entire area around that place became one giant crater after they were finished.
At night, after eating dinner, both of them would take 'nightly walks' around the Capital then finish it around the middle of the night, return to the house, and sleep at the bed while cuddling each other.
This was their usual routine since Kira shared his system with Akame and just like that, two months went by.
During this time, Kira and Akame have continued to attack the Capital's outer area every night. It got to the point that soldiers from these areas are starting to leave the military entirely due to their fear of Kira's shadow.
When Kira visited these areas, his method has been known by the public since he first attacked the Capital. At first, many of them stated that these are all nonsense not until they experienced it for themselves.
Honest was livid, to say the least as he was this close in suggesting to the young Emperor to use Shikoutazer at all of the other areas just to finish this. Luckily, general Budo has finally gotten some great news concerning the Night Raid that greatly appeased the frustration he felt about his kingdom.
Unknown to Honest, Budo purposely slowed the investigation towards the Night Raid base as he prepared his troops for the upcoming battle against the fat Prime Minister.
As of right now, Budo and his troops are ready to destroy Night Raid, the Revolutionary Army once and for all then and only then will he come straight for Honest. In his eyes, the Night Raid and the Revolutionary Army are just a bunch of rebellious brats that needed to be buried 6' under.
As long as he took out Night Raid, he was sure the location of the Revolutionary Army would finally be known. Though he would be a lot more confident if Esdeath came with him instead of training all the time.
Since the appearance of Kira, Esdeath has never been the same. She constantly tries to break her limit every time she trains. It even got to the point that she would disobey anything Honest or even the Emperor's orders just to train longer.
There was one time that Honest brought Kira's case to them again but before anyone could say anything else, the entire room instantly dropped a few degrees as ice started covering the room. Esdeath at that day had this crazy look on her face that somehow portrayed that she wouldn't even think twice to slaughter everyone there including himself. Luckily Honest timely retracted his words just in time before the whole room froze.
Budo didn't know why, but he felt no matter what happens tonight, the entire kingdom would change at the end of this night.
After finishing his thoughts, Budo led thousands of his soldiers towards Night Raid's base, confident he could finally crush them once and for all.
Unknown to him, there were already a number of Gargoyles looking at them in contempt from the shadows all over the Capital.

Budo and his army marched over their base but as they finally got sight of their base, all of the members of Night Raid, except Akame, stood in their way.
"Heh, you have my gratitude for making this even easier, Najenda… Night Raid," Budo said as he smirked at them all while the army behind him grew contempt at these people in front of them.
"General Budo… I'll only say this once, leave now," Najenda said as she came forward.
"Hmm?" Budo and his army stared at her in bewilderment.
"You and your army can still come out of this alive if you all leave… now," Najenda warned them. She may be the leader of the Night Raid but she didn't want to see a senseless slaughter and these soldiers are all just following their leader.
"...hahahAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!" Budo and his men slowly came to a hardy laugh full of mockery and contempt while everyone at Najenda's sides wasn't laughing as they all stood their ground.
"*Phew*... Enough games Najenda, Surrender now, or face annihilation! You have 5 seconds!" Budo yelled out as his gauntlets started to emit electricity.
"...For what it's worth, I tried…" Najenda commented as she sighed disappointedly, much to the confusion of Budo and his men.
At that remark, everyone standing behind Najenda looked at them all with mixed expressions ranging from glee to pity.
Budo quickly noticed this as he quickly looked around the area, thinking they might've set a trap for them, he put up his guard. He didn't know why but looking at Najenda and her people, he felt uneasy. Despite the fact that his men ridiculously outnumber Najenda's, his instincts honed from countless battles are screaming at him to run right now.
Budo was about to shake off this feeling when he coincidentally looked at the very top of their hideout and there he saw some kind of house though, despite the distance, he noticed two people staring back at him. He could see them clearly because of their distinct red glowing eyes.
Budo continued to stare though but when he blinked, the two people he was looking at disappeared, then as he blinked again, a hand was suddenly inches away from his face. His body couldn't even react as he helplessly watched as the hand grabbed his face but then he saw the owner of the hand.
Crimson black hair and red glowing eyes staring passively at him.
Kira.
Kira's image has long been embedded in everyone's mind but despite this, not once did they learn his whereabouts, until now.
Now that Budo thought about it, it made sense seeing the Night Raid was also against the Empire but before he could dwell on it more, he was forced to the ground, headfirst.
*BAM!!*
A loud thud could be heard by everyone as they focused on the sudden laying of Budo with his head buried into the ground while Kira still had his hand buried with Budo's head.
The soldiers looking at this felt speechless at the state of their great general. One moment they were about to demolish the Night Raid in front of them then the next, Budo's upper body was already buried in the ground with Kira's hand buried with it.
Akame pouted slightly when she saw Budo not moving anymore while the rest of the group were all numbed at Kira's prowess. Since sparring with him all this time, they knew Kira was anything but ordinary. His strength seemingly limitless as they noticed he was still growing stronger and faster than any of them could even comprehend as time passed.
Though as they noticed this, they also realized Akame's scary growth as she seemingly passed their level long ago. Add to the fact that Akame spends all of her time with Kira proved Kira has some way to increase their strength just like her as they all tried to ask Akame about it but no matter what they say, Akame will always 'No' with a calm expression on her face.
Kira brought up his arm out and stood up then faced the stunned soldiers in front of him while Akame silently walked to him.
"...Remember our deal," Akame said amusingly as she unsheathed her sword and her Sharingan came into view.
"Tsk… Fine, you got 5 minutes," Kira rolled his eyes as Akame beamed excitedly.
Everyone watching was baffled at what they were saying when Akame suddenly charged with her Muramasa at hand.
Soldiers at the very front couldn't even yelp in surprise when Akame started decimating everyone in her way. For a few seconds, chaos reigned in their formation but then they started to surround Akame quickly, hoping to injure her or even slow her down.
Seeing Akame's actions, Night Raid members didn't want to watch her do this by herself but they did wonder why Kira was only watching instead of helping Akame. At that, they tried to take some of the soldiers' attention from Akame with little success.
Most of the soldiers' morale plummeted the longer the time passed as not one of them couldn't defend or even catch up with Akame's speed. Added with the effect of her sword Muramasa, the sword that could kill with a single scratch, wasn't really helping the soldiers' decreasing will to fight.
To think thousands of armed men to the teeth can't even defend from a single little girl was beyond humiliating. Just as they were thinking about retreating now, a sound could be heard from their General's position.
*Bzzzt!*
*BOOOMM!!*
A cloud of dust covered Budo's location as everyone stopped and looked on curiously.
As the dust settled, they all saw Budo standing with blue electric arks surrounding his arms much to the excitement of the soldiers while Kira and Akame looked at him passively.
"You think someone like me, a great general, would be defeated just like THAT!" Budo yelled out as every soldier shouted alongside him in agreement.
"You all are the enemy of the Empire… I was thinking of apprehending all of you then executing each and every one of you in front of the masses… but I changed my mind," Budo commented as he walked forward slowly as his whole body emits blue electric arks.
"MEN!! ATTENTION!! YOUR GREAT GENERAL COMMANDS YOU!!... kill them all," Budo shouted as he started to charge at Kira while leaving a trail of blue electric arks behind.
"SIR YES SIR!!!" The soldiers' morale increased dramatically as they worked in large groups in taking out their enemy much to the irritation of Najenda's group.
"RAAAA!!!" Budo yelled out as he sent out his strongest fist at Kira's head.
*BAM!!*
The ground beneath Kira instantly cracked and the wind blew some who were near them but as the dust settled, Kira was still standing there with no visible injury on him.
Kira didn't do anything but look at Budo with an eerie silence like he was looking at a dead man walking and that immediately unnerved Budo.
Budo knew if he didn't attack now, his head would be flying next so he forced himself to attack again.
*BAM!*
"JUST DIE ALREADY!!" Budo yelled out as sent relentless barrages of lightning-infused fists at Kira.
*BAM!!* x??
By now, everyone stopped fighting and watched on as even Night Raid members regrouped together except for Akame. She calmly watched them despite the fact that she was currently surrounded by soldiers.
Every time Budo attacks, the ground shakes as strong winds blow all of them away.
After a few minutes of Budo's continuous attacks, he jumped back and raised his lightning-infused arms while dark clouds converged above them all.
"Solid Shooter!!" Budo shouted as he brought down his arms at the same time a large lightning bolt came down from clouds towards Kira's position.
*BZZZT!!!*
*BOOOOM!!*
The ground shook as an explosion illuminated the night while the harsh wind following it, pushed all of them away.
As the light subsided, they all could see a crater where that lightning landed with no sight of Kira.
Budo smirked at this as the soldiers looked on towards their general with awe and respect but just as they were about to cheer in excitement, a series of footsteps coming from the crater stopped them.
As the dust settled, Kira walked out of it calmly like he was walking in the park much to the horror of every soldier there.
"...All that… for a drop of blood," Kira commented as he touched the side of his face with a tiny scratch that could be seen while Budo unconsciously stepped back as the color on Budo's face leaves.
"I remember a saying way back when," Kira continued his walk towards Budo who was now stepping back.
"The only ones who should kill... are those who are prepared to be killed," Kira commented as his shadow beneath him started to expand, then several horned giants with swords and axes began to emerge from it much to the further horror of the soldiers and their general.

"All for the sake of the Empire, right?... I have grown tired of hearing this excuse… you may have been ordered to do what did but... it was all your choices to obey and follow… and for that, you might as well burn with this Empire," Kira said as Chaos appeared behind him, towering over all of the Giants around him.
Everyone, even the Night Raid members recoiled in fear when they saw Chaos' intimidating size while Akame looked on calmly then returned her focus to the soldiers around her.
Akame has seen every summon of Kira so she wasn't really shocked to see Chaos.
Najenda and the rest are greatly disturbed at the sight of Chaos but before they could dwell on it more, Kira's Gargoyles started coming out of their respective shadow and took hold of them then flew in the air much to the shock of every one of them.
At first, they wanted to struggle out of their hold on them but every single Gargoyle started shaking their heads at them then motioned everyone to look down. At that, they stopped and looked down curiously but a second later, they understood what these Gargoyles were doing.
After they took to flight, Chaos didn't waste any more time as a red fire started to converge on its four palms while giants behind began to move and brandishing their weapons at the scared soldiers.
A moment later, the slaughter began as a huge red wave of fire threatened to engulf everything on its path while the giants stayed clear of Chaos' fire and easily cut down soldiers like they were nothing but weeds on a field.
Now that they focused on the field, they could finally locate Akame. She was in the very back, killing everyone on her way as she left a trail of blood and corpses on her path.

All of them couldn't help but gulp in shock when they saw Akame. They could hardly follow her with their eyes as she hardly stopped to take any breather at all while taking out anyone on her way like she was used to dealing with enemies that greatly outnumber her on a daily basis.

Within a matter of a few minutes, Budo's army numbering thousands were reduced to nothing more than corpses on the ground. The entire area became barren with scorched trees and earth as thousands of bodies laid there much to the horror of Budo.
Budo wanted to help his men in defeating Kira's minions but Kira would get in his way.
Budo took a second to look towards his personally trained soldiers lying dead at his feet, then a moment later, a wave of deep-seated anger surfaced on his face as he faced Kira.
At night.
After a few hours in, Kira and Akame were finishing their nightly walk when they encountered a girl that looked similar to Akame.
She looked like a younger version of Akame, only her hair was shorter.
"I finally found you… sister," The girl commented as she unsheathed a sword on her waist.
"...Kurome," Akame's eyes changed to that of a Sharingan as she also unsheathed her sword.
"That's new," Kurome commented as she noticed Akame's eyes while smirking at her. .
"I got to say sister, I would never guess you would be with the infamous Kira of all people," Kurome said as she narrowed her eyes at them while her sword starting to emit dark purple electric-like arks at the same time she noticed the ground the both of them were standing on was covered in darkness.
"Everyone says you're the great savior that many prayed for and that it's a matter of time before this kingdom falls into your hands… I also heard you stood in front of an army numbering in thousands of armed soldiers and that you alone managed to destroy those soldiers like they were nothing," Kurome commented as she smirked at Kira, who was standing still like his attention was elsewhere.
"You might fool everyone… but I don't see it," Kurome said but at the same time, Akame felt irritated at that remark.
"...Whether it's true or a fraud, I simply do not care... All I want is to kill… my sister," Kurome said as her sword emitted dark purple lights then 8 silhouettes started to crawl out of the ground.
Five of them looked human but the other three were some big Gorilla, a giant frog, and the biggest of them all was a bony dinosaur-like beast.
Though Kurome didn't notice it when she declared her intention about Akame, Kira's glowing red eyes suddenly turned to her while he maintained his poker face.
"Don't… It's my burden to bear," Akame quickly stood in front of Kira.
Due to their time they spent together, Akame instantly noticed Kira's killing intent and she was sure if she didn't stop him just now, Kurome would be headless right now.
"What's this? Kira is being protected by my dear sister herself," Kurome commented as she saw Akame guarding Kira behind her.
Though Akame and Kira didn't respond to her as she saw the both of them looking at each other in silence.
"...Alright," Kira nodded at her as the shadow beneath them started to recede to him much to Kurome's curiosity.
Kurome focused her attention on Akame as she took a bottle then she suddenly opened it and chugged every pill inside it. As soon as she did it, countless veins became visible from her body while her eyes are now bloodshot.
"To kill the one you love… If someone else will do it anyway, I'd rather do it myself," Kurome muttered as the grip on her sword tightened.
Without a second later, she charged at Akame with her sword at hand while all of her puppets attacked Kira with all of their might.
*Clang!*
Kurome's blade clashed with Akame's, but Kurome's attack pushed Akame from her spot. Kurome didn't let up as she followed Akame relentlessly with powerful swings.
Despite taking in her month's worth of meds, Kurome couldn't still land a clean at Akame. She overpowers her to a degree, but she noticed Akame was getting faster and faster as they fought longer.
She knew she had to finish this fight as soon as possible because of the drugs but she couldn't find any blind spots at all and what's worse is that Akame was getting better as time passed.
While both sisters were locked in a battle to the death, Kira was calmly facing the puppets of Kurome.
The five human puppets were four men and one woman. The dudes brandished their different weapons and jumped at Kira while the girl brought out a pair of pistols and aimed it at Kira. Behind them were the gorilla and frog making their way at him also while the dinosaur started building up blue energy in front of its mouth.
Kira kept his calm look but as soon they came into range, his 7' long Nodachi materialized in his right hand at the same time the only girl there fired her pistols at his eyes.

The girl smirked in victory as she timed it perfectly but that quickly changed.
Kira half-heartedly swung his sword at them as he hit all of their weapons all at once. Despite the lack of effort on his part, the force behind that swing caused all of their weapons to either break into two or fly out of their hands.
They widened their eyes at this but before they could even come to their senses, Kira swung again but this time it was twice as fast that the puppets couldn't even react to it.
*Slick*
Kira's sword seamlessly passed through them all then without missing a beat, Kira swatted the bullets coming his way and directed it back to the girl who fired it all in one breath.
Kira then placed his sword to the sides at the same time all of the men in front of him simultaneously crashed to the ground and split into two from their waist while the girl only saw her bullets coming back to her before seeing nothing else.
Despite the state of their fellow puppets, the remaining puppets didn't spare a glance at them as a large tongue suddenly made to Kira at the same time, the gorilla jumped to the air and brought out its arms over its head, intending to crush Kira.
Kira's arm holding his sword suddenly blurred then before the tongue could even get close to him, it started to fall apart, piece by piece.
The Gorilla was less than two meters away from Kira when it suddenly froze in the air. On its chest was a black blade embedded in it and protruding through its back.
Kira was calmly looking at the beast in front of him while his sword was stabbed in its chest.
It tried to break free from it and charge again but before it could even touch the blade, Kira effortlessly swung the gorilla to the frog with enough force to send both puppets flying.
Kira then turned his attention to the dinosaur as it started to aim at him.
He turned his head to look at Akame's fight behind him and noticed she was in the range of that dinosaur's attack.
With that in mind, the sword in his hand started to morph into a large black scythe, easily twice his size in comparison. Despite its size though, he casually spun his scythe to the sides as the blade of the scythe started to glow in red.
A moment later, the dino-puppet fired its strongest attack at him as a giant blue beam of energy made its way in his direction.
Kira looked on calmly as Kurome behind him momentarily paused and grew anxious as she noticed that she was in its blast range though she also realizes that Akame still has this calm expression on her face.
Kurome curiously looked onto Kira when he did something that even though all that training she has been through the years, what she saw shocked her.
As the large beam was getting closer, Kira drew out his giant scythe then with a speed she couldn't even follow, his swing blurred but the loud noise from breaking the sound barrier rung out everywhere.
She opened her mouth in shock when a giant red blade beam effortlessly cut through her puppet's strongest attack and even her dino-puppet entirely was cut into two, vertically.
The red blade beam didn't stop though, it continued despite crashing on a mountain and cutting it into two.
After a few moments, even Akame couldn't help but marvel at Kira's power. Despite seeing his strength that made her feel weak, she vowed to herself that someday, she will be worthy of staying by his side.
"Huh… maybe I should've kept using the sword instead of a scythe," Kira muttered as ever since he maxed out his proficiency in handling a scythe, it instantly became overkill whenever he used his scythe. This is the whole reason why he preferred using a sword instead of a scythe nowadays.
When he confronted Esdeath back then, his scythe proficiency wasn't maxed yet unlike now.
Kira's scythe dissipated back to his shadow as he turned to look at Akame.
Akame, seeing Kira looking at her, nodded and turned her attention back to her sister while Kurome noticed their interaction.
Now that Kurome thought about it, she finally noticed that despite the combined attacks of her puppets, Kira didn't so much as move from his spot, and based on the look of boredom on his face, he wasn't even making any effort except for that last attack.
With that in mind, she knew she never stood a chance against him. Fortunately, she didn't come here for him.
She didn't know why, but she became increasingly irritated at her sister when she saw their gaze towards each other. When they were young, she was always with her sister but when they started training, she was always left behind, she was always overshadowed by her, and when Akame rebelled, she was once again left behind by her.
She knew taking those drugs all at once will take a toll on her body that might even lead to her death but she didn't care. She wanted nothing more than to prove to her sister that she wasn't inferior to her, she wanted her to acknowledge her strength even with the cost of her life.
"Come... sister!" Kurome yelled as she charged again as Akame did the same thing.
Kira silently watched them though he noticed that they weren't alone. It was a guy that somehow reminded him of Tatsumi except for his short dark blue hair and eyes.
Kira also noticed the guy was anxiously watching Kurome with a sword at hand, ready to intervene at any moment.
He looked at him for a while deciding if he should take care of it but seeing his attention focused on Kurome, he let it slide and turned back to watch Kurome and Akame fight.
After a few minutes, Kurome started slowing down while Akame on the other hand is getting faster than before and Kurome has a gut feeling it's from her eyes. If Akame was close to Kira as she assumed, her new eyes would be anything but ordinary, and based on their fight so far, she had every right to assume she was right.
Naturally, if Kurome herself noticed this, all of them watching also did while the guy spectating Kurome tightens his grip on his sword.
As the minutes passed by, Kurome finally slipped and Akame took her chance and swung her Masamune with enough force to Kurome's sword.
Caught by the Akame in surprise, Kurome could only widen her eyes as her sister destroyed her sword in front of her and sent her flying.
By the time she was sent flying, the guy spectating didn't hesitate any longer and hurriedly rushed to Kurome's aid at the same time, he was suddenly enveloped by light then he came out with a full set of armor similar to Bulat's only in navy blue in color instead of white.
"KUROME!!" The guy yelled out as he quickly stood in front of Kurome protectively.
"...Wave *Cough*" Kurome muttered as she coughed up blood, much to Wave's worry.
Kira calmly walked over to Akame as they both curiously looked at their interactions.
"You IDIOT!! Why the hell did you take all of those at once!?" Wave scolds her as he slowly approaches Kurome while maintaining his eye on Akame and Kira.
"And I told you *Cough* I needed to do this *Cough*Idiot," Kurome weakly argued to him while Akame sheathed her sword and looked at Kira then placed her hand over her stomach.
"Shut up and just wait right there!" Wave yelled back while Kira noticed Akame's simple gesture then he took out a pair of Ice cream from his inventory and handed her one.
"I refuse to let you die here," Wave muttered lowly that Kurome barely managed to hear while Kira and Akame ate their Ice creams and watched them curiously.
"...lame," Kurome replied calmly while a slight blush could be seen on her face while Akame suddenly tried to take a bite of Kira's Ice cream.
"HMPH! I DON'T CARE! You want to get to Kurome? You have to go through me first!" Wave yelled out loud as he readied his sword for the fight for his life while Kira expertly dodged every single one of Akame's attempts much to her increasing irritation.
After their talk, Kurome and Wave finally noticed that both Kira and Akame were hardly paying them any attention at all as Kira successfully took a bite of Akame's Ice cream.
"..."
After a few seconds, Kira and Akame finally stopped as they realized Wave and Kurome were already finished with their drama and that their Ice creams were already gone.
*Cough*
Kurome coughed blood again as she suddenly fell face first while Wave panicked instantly and went beside her.
Kira narrowed his eyes on them much to their wariness as they still remember what Kira did earlier.
"Akame… I won't let you kill someone you love," Kira muttered to Akame as she looked at him silently.
Kira held out his hand as a green vial appears on it then he threw it at Wave much to his confusion.
"Let her drink it… A word of advice, get out of the Capital now," Kira commented much to Wave and Kurome confusion but to prove his point, his shadow suddenly expanded then giant creatures emerged from it, looking at them both with malice.
Kurome and Wave suddenly went white at the sight of these monsters as they both trembled slightly in fear.
"I won't repeat myself," Kira said as Akame suddenly held his hand and intertwined their fingers then suddenly both of them became enveloped by black smoke and a gargoyle replaced them in their spot.
The Gargoyle looked at them for a while then it flew at the highest place it could see as Kurome and Wave watched it.
Wave looked at the vial then he handed it to Kurome who was coughing blood again as her face started to pale.
They both silently looked at the vial with wariness until Wave couldn't take seeing Kurome in pain anymore so he took the vial and emptied its contents on his mouth then kissed Kurome before she could even react.
As they let go of each other, Wave noticed that Kurome's pale face started to regain a bit of color. He was so happy that he wanted to kiss Kurome again but her hands stopped him from moving any closer.
"Hehehe, so-Mmm!!" Wave was about to apologize when Kurome pulled Wave's head toward her and kissed him.
As morning came, both of them disappeared from the Capital.

A few days have gone by.
Kira and Akame are both inside a barren dungeon, sparring with each other. Akame wielded her katana, Murasame while Kira parried everything she threw at him with his black Nodachi.
They had been at it for an hour when Akame suddenly retreated and looked at Kira seriously.
"...Use it… use your scythe," Akame said as her eyes changed to the Sharingan while blue electric arks could be seen appearing from her hand to her sword.
Akame knew a few months ago that Kira wasn't proficient in wielding a sword but despite this, she could hardly make him use his scythe. Whenever they would go into a dungeon, he would always use his black Nodachi to fend off anything his way.
"...Ok," Kira said as his Nodachi morphed into a large black scythe.
Akame stared warily at the sight of the scythe but then Kira spun his scythe and swung it to the ground at his side.
*Boom!*
Akame widened her eyes when the ground beside him cracked and buckled as a giant slash formed on the ground.

Akame unconsciously gulped but she shook it off as she made a charge at him.
Kira matched her speed then both of them clashed in the middle but Akame was forced to fly due to the force of it. She quickly embedded her Murasame at the ground to stop her flight but just as she stopped, her eyes widened as she ducked down just in time the scythe's blade passed over her head.
While ducked down, Akame quickly sent out a slash at Kira but as she expected, he stopped it with his scythe.
At that, both of them started to fight close quarters but after a few exchanges, Kira swung his scythe, and with it, Akame's Murasame in her hands, flew a few meters away from them but Akame didn't want to give up just yet.
At the same time, her Mursame flew from her hand, she tackled Kira to the ground then tried to pin him to the ground but Kira easily turned the tables on her as he pinned her to the ground instead.
Kira let his scythe dissipate as both of them stared at each other then they couldn't help but laugh lightly at each other.
"…I almost won," Akame commented as she smiled at him.
"It was fun though," Kira said as he smirked at her.
"...*Pout*... I still lost," Akame said as she pouted lightly.
"But you're getting stronger... I guess you can now match Esdeath," Kira replied with a smile.
Akame smiled at that remark but her attention was suddenly drawn to his lips as she unconsciously stared at it. Kira noticed her but he didn't move away as both of them leaned closer to each other.
*BOOOM!!*
Just as their lips were about to touch, an explosion rang out not far away from them.
They both stopped and grew irritated as they looked at who disturbed them. They saw Cerberus in front of them innocently wagging its tail (or snake from behind) while on its mouths were the limbs of the dungeon boss.
At that, both of them stood up and gathered every one of Kira's minions while Akame rubbed Cerberus' belly for its reward. Minutes went by as they both made their way out of the dungeon.
As the two of them stepped outside, the morning sun instantly hit them.
Both of them went inside the house as Akame went to the bathroom while Kira took off his sweaty shirt then started cooking their lunch.
In the mornings, Kira would always cook their breakfast as Akame wasn't a morning person. After breakfast, both of them would do their individual daily exercises then go to the dungeon to either spar or grind levels until lunchtime.
After lunch, they would freshen up then either play any game they could think of or relax at the pool until they go hungry again. Though on some days, they would go on Danger Beast hunts together while riding his motorbike everywhere.
During those times, they did encounter some sick people experimenting in creating humanoid Danger Beasts. They both found their base purely by accident while driving aimlessly.
Though that didn't matter when in the end, the entire area around that place became one giant crater after they were finished.
At night, after eating dinner, both of them would take 'nightly walks' around the Capital then finish it around the middle of the night, return to the house, and sleep at the bed while cuddling each other.
This was their usual routine since Kira shared his system with Akame and just like that, two months went by.
During this time, Kira and Akame have continued to attack the Capital's outer area every night. It got to the point that soldiers from these areas are starting to leave the military entirely due to their fear of Kira's shadow.
When Kira visited these areas, his method has been known by the public since he first attacked the Capital. At first, many of them stated that these are all nonsense not until they experienced it for themselves.
Honest was livid, to say the least as he was this close in suggesting to the young Emperor to use Shikoutazer at all of the other areas just to finish this. Luckily, general Budo has finally gotten some great news concerning the Night Raid that greatly appeased the frustration he felt about his kingdom.
Unknown to Honest, Budo purposely slowed the investigation towards the Night Raid base as he prepared his troops for the upcoming battle against the fat Prime Minister.
As of right now, Budo and his troops are ready to destroy Night Raid, the Revolutionary Army once and for all then and only then will he come straight for Honest. In his eyes, the Night Raid and the Revolutionary Army are just a bunch of rebellious brats that needed to be buried 6' under.
As long as he took out Night Raid, he was sure the location of the Revolutionary Army would finally be known. Though he would be a lot more confident if Esdeath came with him instead of training all the time.
Since the appearance of Kira, Esdeath has never been the same. She constantly tries to break her limit every time she trains. It even got to the point that she would disobey anything Honest or even the Emperor's orders just to train longer.
There was one time that Honest brought Kira's case to them again but before anyone could say anything else, the entire room instantly dropped a few degrees as ice started covering the room. Esdeath at that day had this crazy look on her face that somehow portrayed that she wouldn't even think twice to slaughter everyone there including himself. Luckily Honest timely retracted his words just in time before the whole room froze.
Budo didn't know why, but he felt no matter what happens tonight, the entire kingdom would change at the end of this night.
After finishing his thoughts, Budo led thousands of his soldiers towards Night Raid's base, confident he could finally crush them once and for all.
Unknown to him, there were already a number of Gargoyles looking at them in contempt from the shadows all over the Capital.

Budo and his army marched over their base but as they finally got sight of their base, all of the members of Night Raid, except Akame, stood in their way.
"Heh, you have my gratitude for making this even easier, Najenda… Night Raid," Budo said as he smirked at them all while the army behind him grew contempt at these people in front of them.
"General Budo… I'll only say this once, leave now," Najenda said as she came forward.
"Hmm?" Budo and his army stared at her in bewilderment.
"You and your army can still come out of this alive if you all leave… now," Najenda warned them. She may be the leader of the Night Raid but she didn't want to see a senseless slaughter and these soldiers are all just following their leader.
"...hahahAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!" Budo and his men slowly came to a hardy laugh full of mockery and contempt while everyone at Najenda's sides wasn't laughing as they all stood their ground.
"*Phew*... Enough games Najenda, Surrender now, or face annihilation! You have 5 seconds!" Budo yelled out as his gauntlets started to emit electricity.
"...For what it's worth, I tried…" Najenda commented as she sighed disappointedly, much to the confusion of Budo and his men.
At that remark, everyone standing behind Najenda looked at them all with mixed expressions ranging from glee to pity.
Budo quickly noticed this as he quickly looked around the area, thinking they might've set a trap for them, he put up his guard. He didn't know why but looking at Najenda and her people, he felt uneasy. Despite the fact that his men ridiculously outnumber Najenda's, his instincts honed from countless battles are screaming at him to run right now.
Budo was about to shake off this feeling when he coincidentally looked at the very top of their hideout and there he saw some kind of house though, despite the distance, he noticed two people staring back at him. He could see them clearly because of their distinct red glowing eyes.
Budo continued to stare though but when he blinked, the two people he was looking at disappeared, then as he blinked again, a hand was suddenly inches away from his face. His body couldn't even react as he helplessly watched as the hand grabbed his face but then he saw the owner of the hand.
Crimson black hair and red glowing eyes staring passively at him.
Kira.
Kira's image has long been embedded in everyone's mind but despite this, not once did they learn his whereabouts, until now.
Now that Budo thought about it, it made sense seeing the Night Raid was also against the Empire but before he could dwell on it more, he was forced to the ground, headfirst.
*BAM!!*
A loud thud could be heard by everyone as they focused on the sudden laying of Budo with his head buried into the ground while Kira still had his hand buried with Budo's head.
The soldiers looking at this felt speechless at the state of their great general. One moment they were about to demolish the Night Raid in front of them then the next, Budo's upper body was already buried in the ground with Kira's hand buried with it.
Akame pouted slightly when she saw Budo not moving anymore while the rest of the group were all numbed at Kira's prowess. Since sparring with him all this time, they knew Kira was anything but ordinary. His strength seemingly limitless as they noticed he was still growing stronger and faster than any of them could even comprehend as time passed.
Though as they noticed this, they also realized Akame's scary growth as she seemingly passed their level long ago. Add to the fact that Akame spends all of her time with Kira proved Kira has some way to increase their strength just like her as they all tried to ask Akame about it but no matter what they say, Akame will always 'No' with a calm expression on her face.
Kira brought up his arm out and stood up then faced the stunned soldiers in front of him while Akame silently walked to him.
"...Remember our deal," Akame said amusingly as she unsheathed her sword and her Sharingan came into view.
"Tsk… Fine, you got 5 minutes," Kira rolled his eyes as Akame beamed excitedly.
Everyone watching was baffled at what they were saying when Akame suddenly charged with her Muramasa at hand.
Soldiers at the very front couldn't even yelp in surprise when Akame started decimating everyone in her way. For a few seconds, chaos reigned in their formation but then they started to surround Akame quickly, hoping to injure her or even slow her down.
Seeing Akame's actions, Night Raid members didn't want to watch her do this by herself but they did wonder why Kira was only watching instead of helping Akame. At that, they tried to take some of the soldiers' attention from Akame with little success.
Most of the soldiers' morale plummeted the longer the time passed as not one of them couldn't defend or even catch up with Akame's speed. Added with the effect of her sword Muramasa, the sword that could kill with a single scratch, wasn't really helping the soldiers' decreasing will to fight.
To think thousands of armed men to the teeth can't even defend from a single little girl was beyond humiliating. Just as they were thinking about retreating now, a sound could be heard from their General's position.

A cloud of dust covered Budo's location as everyone stopped and looked on curiously.
As the dust settled, they all saw Budo standing with blue electric arks surrounding his arms much to the excitement of the soldiers while Kira and Akame looked at him passively.
"You think someone like me, a great general, would be defeated just like THAT!" Budo yelled out as every soldier shouted alongside him in agreement.
"You all are the enemy of the Empire… I was thinking of apprehending all of you then executing each and every one of you in front of the masses… but I changed my mind," Budo commented as he walked forward slowly as his whole body emits blue electric arks.
"MEN!! ATTENTION!! YOUR GREAT GENERAL COMMANDS YOU!!... kill them all," Budo shouted as he started to charge at Kira while leaving a trail of blue electric arks behind.
"SIR YES SIR!!!" The soldiers' morale increased dramatically as they worked in large groups in taking out their enemy much to the irritation of Najenda's group.
"RAAAA!!!" Budo yelled out as he sent out his strongest fist at Kira's head.

The ground beneath Kira instantly cracked and the wind blew some who were near them but as the dust settled, Kira was still standing there with no visible injury on him.
Kira didn't do anything but look at Budo with an eerie silence like he was looking at a dead man walking and that immediately unnerved Budo.
Budo knew if he didn't attack now, his head would be flying next so he forced himself to attack again.
*BAM!*
"JUST DIE ALREADY!!" Budo yelled out as sent relentless barrages of lightning-infused fists at Kira.

By now, everyone stopped fighting and watched on as even Night Raid members regrouped together except for Akame. She calmly watched them despite the fact that she was currently surrounded by soldiers.
Every time Budo attacks, the ground shakes as strong winds blow all of them away.
After a few minutes of Budo's continuous attacks, he jumped back and raised his lightning-infused arms while dark clouds converged above them all.
"Solid Shooter!!" Budo shouted as he brought down his arms at the same time a large lightning bolt came down from clouds towards Kira's position.
*BZZZT!!!*

The ground shook as an explosion illuminated the night while the harsh wind following it, pushed all of them away.
As the light subsided, they all could see a crater where that lightning landed with no sight of Kira.
Budo smirked at this as the soldiers looked on towards their general with awe and respect but just as they were about to cheer in excitement, a series of footsteps coming from the crater stopped them.
As the dust settled, Kira walked out of it calmly like he was walking in the park much to the horror of every soldier there.
"...All that… for a drop of blood," Kira commented as he touched the side of his face with a tiny scratch that could be seen while Budo unconsciously stepped back as the color on Budo's face leaves.
"I remember a saying way back when," Kira continued his walk towards Budo who was now stepping back.
"The only ones who should kill... are those who are prepared to be killed," Kira commented as his shadow beneath him started to expand, then several horned giants with swords and axes began to emerge from it much to the further horror of the soldiers and their general.

After they took to flight, Chaos didn't waste any more time as a red fire started to converge on its four palms while giants behind began to move and brandishing their weapons at the scared soldiers.
A moment later, the slaughter began as a huge red wave of fire threatened to engulf everything on its path while the giants stayed clear of Chaos' fire and easily cut down soldiers like they were nothing but weeds on a field.
Now that they focused on the field, they could finally locate Akame. She was in the very back, killing everyone on her way as she left a trail of blood and corpses on her path.
