"The scouts have been sending messages continuously, the first batch of magical beasts will arrive tonight." Said Dexia as she clenched her fists.
"How many people...died? "Rainer asked in hesitation.
"...We lost six warriors, and three others will not be able to fight again... "She replied.

In the distance, at the end of the street, one could see a huge barricade built around the gates.
People brought things to the barricade to fortify it and increase the city' s chances of survival, although they were exhausted, no one rested and all the residents continued their fortification work.
"No one seems to have fled... "Rainer thought as he entered the meeting room.

Some of those present smiled at Rainer, after all he was the one who killed the enormous magical beast they considered invincible.
Liann ignored him, he charged alone in battle and ignored her warnings, it was normal for her to be angry.
"Hum...hum...now that we're all gathered here, it's time to talk about the next part of the plan."
"Tell them about what you discussed with me, Rainer."Said Troy as he gave Rainer time to speak.
"This phase of the plan will be the simplest but the most difficult, what we have to do is just defend the walls, that's all." Rainer said.
"Are you playing with us?" Ron Willford shouted as he pointed at him.
Complaints started to sound in the meeting room.
"Did my brother die for this?"

"This is not my home, if this place turns to ashes, it will only cause me a couple of sleepless nights! You are nothing to me! If you want me to leave you alone to defend this city from those beasts... I will listen to you... " Said Rainer as he was preparing to leave.
"Wait Rainer!" Shouted Troy and Sebas, if they lost the support of his group, the defense would be even more complicated!

The others looked away and remained silent, fighting at this moment was not a good idea for anyone.
"That's what I thought... "Rainer muttered, but everyone was able to hear him.
"I will use a very exhausting spell tonight, which I will only be able to use once during the entire fight, this spell will allow us to withstand the siege of the magical beasts."
