I came to the forest to search for small animals. Tulu and Tamamo have captured a cute and mysterious rabbit called "Jade Rabbit," which is unique to this other world.

I think it might be a good idea to have one block dedicated to small animals. We can collect all those soothing little animals and build the Fluffy Kingdom. I'll reign as king there and collect healing daily. Sounds like a pretty good plan to me.

I'll be Mr. Mutsuro in another world!

"Yuta. Why are you clenching your fists and looking up at the sky? Are you okay?"

As I was immersed in my newfound ambition, Deanne was worried about me.

"Yeah, I was just getting into the swing of things, that's all. I've got to find some small animals to keep up with Tulu and the others.

We search the forest with great energy. I check the holes in the ground carefully, especially for jade rabbits, because I want to have more of them.

**

I can't find it. I can't find it. Why can't I find the little animals? All they come to me are demons. I'm tired of seeing goblins and orcs.

Sylphie! Is it me or are there no animals?

"It's just my imagination. Yuta is very good at avoiding small animals. In a way, I think it's a great talent.

Sylphy keeps a cool expression on her face and says something terrible. When she says it in a cool way, I feel it in my heart. But I didn't realize I had such a talent.

It's too sad that I'm completely useless both on earth and in other worlds. I'm already beginning to feel that a dark cloud is gathering over the construction of the Mohamofu Kingdom. Should I turn to Sylphy for help?

When I look at Shilfi, she tilts her head and shakes her head saying "nothing". ......I don't want to ask the Great Spirit to help me find a small animal because I can't find it. Maybe he can help us easily, but that would be a bit pathetic. I'll leave it as a last resort and still try to make it on my own for now.

"Oh, now Belle and Rain are coming this way..."

So Belle and Lane caught a little animal too. If I don't catch them before Sarah and the others do, I'll lose my dignity as a master. ...... I'm getting impatient.

"Yoo-tah, I got you!" "Coo-coo!"

Belle and Rain tell me loudly that they are still a distance away. They're so full of energy. Belle and Rain come flying in, proudly showing us the small animals they've caught.

How cute! Why are small animals so cute? But sadly, they are scared to death when they see me. At this rate, all the little animals you brought will be scared of me. Are you okay, Fluffy Kingdom?

"Yuta?" Cue?"

As I twilight, Belle and Rain are tilting their heads, asking me what's wrong. First of all, I have to compliment Belle and Rain.

"It's nothing. Thank you for bringing me this little cutie. Do you know what kind of animal she is?"

I've seen something like that before, but I can't remember. It's about six inches long, and it's got these pretty little eyes. It looks like a squirrel, but it's not.

"Monger." "Cu-cu-cu-cu."

So it's a flying squirrel. To my ears, it sounds like a momonga, but I guess it's really a different name. Well, if it's understood, then Momonga is easy to understand.

"A little flying squirrel, isn't it?"

"Very cute!" "Cute!" "Cute!"

Belle and Lane are proud of their work. Yes, Belle and Rain are very cute, too. I can't help but nudge Belle and Rain.

"I'm amazed you found them for such little guys. Where have you been?"

It's important to gather information to keep up with Sarah and the others.

"You know, I was in the tree hole. I was sleeping.

Belle explains while showing me her momonga. Rain is nodding his head. Momonga live in tree caves. I've looked for tree caves many times myself, and I'm still wondering why I can't find them.

"Thanks for the tip."

I thank them and pet Belle and Rain. Momonga almost escapes by accident, so I rush to have Sylphy put him to sleep.

"I'll get more!" "Coo-coo!"

After a lot of petting and stroking, we send Belle and Rain off again, full of enthusiasm, and I search for small animals with great enthusiasm.

It is not wrong to look for caves in trees and holes in the ground. Using my increased physical abilities, I quickly check out each hole. It feels good to be able to move my body the way I want. I can't find any small animals, but .......

You search hard, but for some reason you can't find any small animals. I'm getting a little sad. Maybe there is a strange curse on me, or is it the work of Gilmas?

**

"Oh, Sarah and the others caught a little animal, I'll show them here."

Oof! I didn't make it. Well, they won't make fun of me if I didn't catch a small animal, but it's an event I'd rather not have happen to me in my dignity as a master.

".................. Sylphy, tell me where the little animals are. Please!"

He rubs his hands together and asks Sylphy for a favor.

"...... Well, that's fine, but is that what you want? You've been looking hard all this time, haven't you?"

All my hard work is trash compared to looking good in front of the kids. Well, this time I can't dress well, I just have to make up the bare minimum.

No problem! Please!"

"Yuta, you're kind of graceful in a way.

Deanne, shut up.

"Whew! All right, keep your head down. Look for the root of that tree.

"Thank you, Sylphy."

I immediately run to the tree to which Sylphy pointed. I look at the base of the tree and see a hole. I look into the hole and see a round object. It's a ball rabbit. Thanks to my night vision, I can catch the shape of it. I am a little excited, because I have only seen an empty hole so far.

The ball rabbit at the end of the hole...well, it looks a little hard to reach... I take out my magic shovel and dig a hole quickly, and there is a completely frightened ball rabbit looking at me. Sorry, you'll have to sacrifice yourself to my ambitions. I'll make Mofumofu Kingdom a better place.

Munching and tugging at the ball rabbit, it flails its short arms and legs and "poo-pooos" with resistance. Guilty but cute. She's white. A snowball rabbit? I guess it just stands out since there is supposed to be no snow on this continent.

I feel sorry for him, so I'm going to take him to Sylphy's and put him to sleep. I'm satisfied with this, but I've saved my reputation as a master. I feel that Sylphy and Deanne's reputation has been damaged instead, but I'll settle that with a drink.

But I was in a bit of a hurry. As I calm down and wait for Sara and the others, they come back. Kikka is holding a black rabbit with both hands. I thought they were all round, but there are regular rabbits too. They seem to come in many colors, and Fluffy Kingdom is about to become Rabbit Kingdom.

"Master, I got him!"

Marco reports back and Kikka holds up the rabbit for us to see. The ordinary rabbits are also flailing about, but Kikka, too, has risen in level and strength, so she has caught it firmly.

"Oh, that's great! "Oh, great! Thank you, guys. First of all, I feel sorry for the rabbit, so I'll let Sylphy put him to sleep. Kikka, hold on to the rabbit and don't be surprised when it suddenly falls asleep.

Sylphy poked the rabbit with her finger, and the rabbit cowered. As usual, it only takes a moment. I leave the sleeping rabbit with Sylphy and listen to what Sarah and the others have to say.

"Well, Wolf was able to handle it calmly. I'm sure this forest will be fine, but we must be on our guard.

They were attacked by demons a few times, but they seemed to have handled it carefully. Dolly was smiling and nodding her head, so she must have been able to watch with peace of mind.

I understand.

"Well, you can take a break."

Kikka takes out her favorite apple juice and hands it to Sarah and the others. I have given her some water, but she will be glad to have a cold juice after a long day of exploring in this heat. As I expected, Sara and her friends are drinking the juice with smiles on their faces.

I would like to make a sports drink, but is it just water with salt and sugar? I don't think I can ...... make it taste good, so I'll stop.

****

We looked for small animals until the evening, stopping for lunch along the way. The onigiri we ate in the forest tasted quite good. Everyone was happy to eat them, so I was satisfied.

However, as usual, I couldn't find any small animals when I looked for them. I'm starting to feel like I'm really cursed. Maybe I should go for an exorcism or something? I don't think there are any shrines, so I'm wondering if it's okay for a Buddhist to go to a church, or ...... a non-religious, or at least a Buddhist?

Bell, Sarah, and the others did a great job because I was unreliable. I also asked Sylphy to help me catch about five of them, but I can't be too proud of that.

We searched until late in the evening, and gathered thirty small animals. Ten ball rabbits, six ordinary rabbits, six flying squirrels, and eight little monkeys. The small monkeys are a species that does not grow large, and even if they did, they would be about 30 centimeters in length. They eat mainly fruits and nuts, so we decided to take them home.

There were many other animals, such as a small cucumber and a mouse, but we decided to let go of the ones we didn't think were suitable to bring home. It would be a little troublesome if the rats would multiply or Uribo would turn into a big wild boar.

We look at the animals that have been caught and are being kept by Sylphy. There are so many rabbits and they are so colorful that it makes the place look incredibly lively.

"Well, I'm going to have a quick dinner here and go home. Sylfie, I'm sorry, but please keep the demons away from us.

"Okay."

I'm sure Sylphie will do what she can. We'll be late if we eat when we get back. We'll set out a table and chairs and have rice dishes and food from the stalls for dinner. We can't leave the animals sleeping forever, we have to eat quickly and hurry home.

Some of the animals woke up on the way, but they didn't eat the fruit I gave them, so I'd better get them to a place where they can settle down quickly. Oh, and before we go home, we have to do a good cleaning spell on them.

They say wild animals are difficult, but what about those that are not kept in captivity, but moved from forest to forest...? I have my doubts.
