Dio then made a request to meet with this new champion and the Hulk. The Grandmaster didn’t want to agree as he didn’t want to let his new champion go.
He already bought Thor for 10 million stars. Although he made around the same amount of money from the Championship, the Grandmaster didn’t want to let his champion walk away. “I want to give my champion a good fight next time, so I want to give him time to rest!” The Grandmaster said as he rejected Dio’s request.
“Is that so? Now, why do I feel you are trying to scam me? That champion wasn’t someone that easily exhausted himself!” Dio said coldly. But completely to the Grandmaster’s surprise, Thor himself already rushed to the room, knocking out all the guards in his way.
“Hey! What are you doing here! What do you want!” The Grandmaster asked annoyedly as Thor suddenly barged in to the room.
“I won, so take this off of my neck!” Thor shouted as he pointed to a small device on his neck that emits electricity with a push of a button.
“Calm down, jeez, no need to get violent!” the Grandmaster said calmly. Dio that observed the situation found that the Grandmaster’s expression was a little bit eerie. He was acting calm even though the champion that defeated the Invincible Hulk was right in front of him.
“Take this thing off of me and prepare a spaceship for me to go home! Otherwise, I will blow your head off!” Thor said as his eyes were filled with the lightning current.
“Wait a minute! Are you saying that you would kill me? This is breaking the law! You can’t do that! Don’t you know it is hard to get this hair of mine to behave in the morning!” The Grandmaster said nonchalantly.
“I swear to the god above I will do it! Just do what I say if you don’t want your name to be a figment of the past!” Thor said annoyedly.
“Okay, okay! You won. Just calm down a second.” The Grandmaster said calmly. As soon as Thor relaxed his muscle, the Grandmaster waved his hands, and something hit Thor from the side, flinging him to the wall! Before Thor could get up, the Grandmaster pushed a button, and suddenly a chair appeared and captured Thor.
Thor immediately frowned as he was once again sitting against on the uncomfortable chair. His hands and feet were bounded by a hexagonal block that caused him unable to release his power, and he couldn’t even exert his power to get rid of the block.
“Let me go, you bastard!” Thor shouted angrily, but before he could say anything else, Thor fell into a hole under the chair and disappeared. At the same time, the Grandmaster tidied his clothes and revealed his smile once again like nothing happened. “Like I said earlier, the champion needs a good rest. He is a little too excited right now.” the Grandmaster said casually.
“Well, Mr. Little Spark seems to be excited, but it seemed he was too excited to see you, was it not?” Dio said with a smirk on his face.
“His blood circulation might be too fast right now, creating a hallucination that caused confusion. I have seen this so many times, and I know that he has to calm down to deal with it.” The Grandmaster said with a smile on his face.
Dio frowned as he didn’t like how the Grandmaster was trying to make excuses. What was the Grandmaster’s goal here? Did he want to preserve his reputation in front of Dio? But for Dio, no matter what the Grandmaster did, he wouldn’t have much credibility! Furthermore, the Grandmaster’s excuse wasn’t that convincing either.
“Sure, you are the most trustworthy person in this entire universe, aren’t you?” Dio said sarcastically.
“Indeed! You sure know me best! After I deal with these champions of mine let’s play your game later! I am very interested to see what this game is all about!” the Grandmaster said casually.
“Sure, take care of your business first, no rush!” Dio said casually. The Grandmaster smiled and immediately left the room. As soon as the Grandmaster left, Dio’s complexion immediately sank. Dio knew that the Grandmaster was a pain, but this time he took it another notch. The one that hit Thor earlier was the Grandmaster himself! He used some kind of energy attack that easily threw Thor aside without much effort.
It’s not so much that the Grandmaster could fight himself, but more to the fact that Dio couldn’t read him at all! Dio didn’t know what the Grandmaster was thinking beneath his fake smile and eccentric behaviour!
“It seems I have to observe him some more,” Dio said solemnly.
On the other hand, Thor, who was still tied to a chair, fell directly to a secret room that the Grandmaster had made specifically for those that dared to defy him. Thor looked around and noticed that he wasn’t tied to the chair, but the block that bound his power was still there! Thor tried to find an exit, but he couldn’t find one, but instead, he found that this place was surrounded by a strange layer of red energy that he couldn’t break out of.
Although he really wanted to return to Asgard, there was nothing he could do right now. The only thing he could do was lie down and wait for the Grandmaster to make a move again. To be honest, he was in a lot of pain after his fight against the Hulk. His head felt like it was hit by a sledgehammer!
He thought that the Grandmaster was some weakling that abused his money power, but now he began to think differently. The moment he was hit by the Grandmaster’s attack, he felt danger!
“All I need to do is wait! For now, I have to rest!” Thor said as he began relaxing his body and tried to sleep!
