Chapter 162

The set of the historical drama.

The staff were busy moving lights, cameras, props, and other equipment for the first shooting that would take place soon.

Director Woo Jung-han was easy to work with because he followed the script as planned, but that was only when everyone did their job properly.

Especially on the first day, he had a habit of checking everything more carefully than usual, which the staff knew well.

They were on their toes, ready to impress him.

But there was a subtle excitement in the set.

The staff who were carrying the equipment had itchy mouths.

“I never expected to shoot with Lee Seo-jun.”

“Me neither. I’ve worked with other actors with Director Woo, but this is the first time I’m looking forward to it so much. It’s my first time shooting with a Hollywood star!”

“Same here. Who here isn’t? But… do you think we can get his autograph?”

“We have a lot of shooting days, so maybe we can? I heard he gave them to the staff of his previous drama…”

“Shouldn’t we leave Seo-jun alone?”

The two staff who were whispering to each other were startled by a loud voice that interrupted them.

It was the cinematographer.

He gave them a stern look and they nodded quickly.

“Yes, of course!”

“We’ll keep our mouths shut!”

The other staff who were sneakily watching the two and the cinematographer felt a pang of guilt and focused on their tasks as the cinematographer scanned the set slowly.

The assistant director approached the cinematographer and spoke to him.

The cinematographer opened his mouth.

“He may look young, but Lee Seo-jun is a pro. It’s not good to keep your distance from him, but it’s worse to look down on him and treat him lightly. You should also manage the staff well.”

“Yes, don’t worry.”

The assistant director smiled.

“When you see Lee Seo-jun’s acting, you’ll forget that he’s a kid.”

The cinematographer nodded in agreement.

***

A while later, Lee Seo-jun arrived.

“Hello!”

His bright greeting warmed up the set. The staff paused their work and looked at him with bright smiles.

“It’s really Lee Seo-jun.”

“He’s handsome, but he looks more normal than I thought.”

“Yeah.”

Lee Seo-jun, who turned off his superstar aura for the shooting, greeted the cinematographer and the assistant director and then greeted the other staff as well.

“Hello!”

“Nice to meet you!”

The staff also smiled and greeted him back.

Lee Seo-jun walked around the set and went to Kim Ho-young, who had arrived earlier and was studying the script carefully.

“Hello.”

“Oh, hello.”

“Please speak comfortably. We have a lot of scenes together.”

The king and his minister had many scenes together. They were almost ‘always’ together.

Kim Ho-young nodded awkwardly at Lee Seo-jun’s words.

“Seo-jun… you can speak comfortably too.”

“Okay. Uncle Ho-young…”

Lee Seo-jun smiled. Kim Ho-young also relaxed his face and smiled.

Soon after, Director Woo Jung-han and Park Woon-yeol arrived.

Kim Ho-young was moved by the fact that he could act with such amazing actors after a long hiatus.

He bowed his head with a grateful expression.

“I hope we have a good shooting today. Sir.”

Lee Seo-jun also quickly greeted him.

“Nice to meet you!”

“Likewise. Let’s do our best.”

When all three actors who would shoot today arrived, the set became busy again.

Director Woo Jung-han checked the set and the cameras and talked with the cinematographer.

Lee Seo-jun smiled brightly.

He liked the practice room, but he liked the lively set more.

Park Woon-yeol, who was watching Lee Seo-jun’s sparkling eyes, turned his gaze and saw Kim Ho-young looking at the set with a similar expression.

Park Woon-yeol smiled at the sight of his two junior actors who loved acting.

He felt that this movie would be a great work.

“The dressing room is this way!”

At the words of the art team staff, the actors headed to the dressing room.

The first actor to come out of the dressing room was Lee Seo-jun.

He wore a black hat called ikseon-gwan and a red dragon robe.

He was a young king, so he didn’t need to wear a beard.

He only did some simple makeup and came out.

He tapped his clothes and asked Anh Da Ho.

“How is it, hyung? Do I look good?”

“You look really good.”

Anh Da Ho smiled and gave him a thumbs up. Lee Seo-jun giggled.

Anh Da Ho took out his camera and took a picture.

Lee Seo-jun tilted his head and Anh Da Ho said.

“I’m going to post it on the fan cafe later.”

“Can you do that?”

“You just have to show it to Director Woo and then you can post it.”

“Then, wait a minute.”

He wanted to take a more cool picture for his fans.

Lee Seo-jun sighed.

[The (Good) Fallen Wings of the Zoin Tribe King – Intermediate is activated.]

[The (Good) Fallen Wings of the Zoin Tribe King – Intermediate]

You can use the power of the wind.

The last king who shared the downfall of his country shows his spirit.

The king of the Zoin tribe who ruled the sky.

But he was defeated by other races and fell. All the royal family fled and the bastard who stayed in the palace until the end inherited the throne.

He lacked ability, but he was a more noble king than any other royal family in his heart. He protected his people and the palace until the end.

And.

Here.

The king appeared.

He was a king for all his people.

He was the king of the sky.

To block the cold wind outside, the set was tightly closed. But a wind blew in the set. The wind that moved softly flowed to one place.

Like an invisible whirlwind, the wind mixed with the king’s aura surrounded Lee Seo-jun.

From head to toe.

Lee Seo-jun was covered with shining wings of the king.

The staff who had been watching Lee Seo-jun since he came out of the dressing room widened their eyes at the change in atmosphere.

They were glad they had finished their work, otherwise they would have dropped what they were holding.

It was such a shock.

Director Woo Jung-han, who was talking with the cinematographer and the assistant director, also turned around at the pressure he felt.

The cinematographer and the assistant director were already staring at Lee Seo-jun with blank faces.

Director Woo Jung-han’s eyes grew big.

It was different from when he acted with Lee Ji-seok.

It was different from the audition video.

He was not the young king who was oppressed by his uncle and shrank back.

He was a complete,

one and only king.

While everyone was amazed, Anh Da Ho, who had gotten used to Seo-jun’s practice, took pictures diligently.

The only sound that echoed in the huge set was the camera shutter.

Click.

When the shutter sound stopped and Seo-jun paused his acting, the heads of the people who were watching him started to turn.

The staff members took a deep breath.

When Seo-jun entered the set, the lighting staff who had said he was more ordinary than expected bit his lip.

Ordinary?

He would have killed for ordinary!

“You know what they say.”

“What do they say?”

“That the seed of a queen is different.”

The art team staff nodded at the art director’s words.

“Actually… maybe it is different?”

The staff members who heard the art director’s words nodded their heads repeatedly.

They all knew it wasn’t true, but Seo-jun’s acting was so impressive that it made them think so.

***

“We’ll start shooting now.”

The bustling atmosphere of the shooting site calmed down at the loud shout of the assistant director.

Seo-jun’s body tensed as he sat on the fluffy cushion.

Park Woon-yeol, who sat in front of Seo-jun, and Kim Ho-young, who stood near the door, also focused.

“Ready, action!”

Lee Hong-wi had lost his father just a while ago.

What woke him up from his crying was the throne that his grandmother and grandfather had tried to protect, the proud seat of the king.

Kim Jong-seo, the loyal subject of his grandfather, bowed his head respectfully in front of Lee Hong-wi, who sat solemnly despite his grief.

“Your Majesty. From now on, you are the sky of this country. I will do my best to assist you, so please be strong.”

“Thank you. Prime Minister.”

Lee Hong-wi wiped away his tears and forced a smile as he opened his mouth.

“I am still young and ignorant. You have to teach me a lot, Prime Minister.”

“Yes. Your Majesty.”

Lee Hong-wi felt a little relieved by Kim Jong-seo’s presence, which reminded him of his grandfather because he was a servant who had served his grandmother.

Kim Nae-gwan smiled warmly as he watched Kim Jong-seo and Lee Hong-wi.

“Cut. Okay!”

As soon as the okay sound came out, Seo-jun’s mood changed.

Park Woon-yeol laughed at the clear change.

He thought he was amazing just by his works, regardless of his age, but seeing Seo-jun’s acting in person was even more amazing.

Woo Jeong-han, the director who smiled contentedly at Seo-jun’s acting, looked at Kim Ho-young, who was wearing an official uniform.

His acting in an independent film was not this good, but it seemed that his social life and experience during his hiatus had a lot of influence on his acting skills.

It was a good thing that he bloomed again.

‘I’ll be active a lot from now on.’

A good actor had appeared. Woo Jeong-han shouted loudly.

“Then we’ll shoot the close-up shot.”

At Woo Jeong-han’s words, the cameras went up to the set.

On the set, once again, the same acting unfolded.

***

“Ready, action!”

Late at night.

The candle flickered.

Lee Hong-wi rubbed his sleepy eyes and relied on the candlelight to read down the petition that came up today.

Kim Nae-gwan, who was restless, opened his mouth.

“Your Majesty. Please go to bed now.”

“Just a little more. A little more.”

He understood the problem and gave the right answer.

That was what a king should do.

But as a twelve-year-old Lee Hong-wi, understanding the problem was all he could do.

Lee Hong-wi groaned as he read the petition and rubbed his stiff eyes.

Kim Nae-gwan said again with pity.

“Your Majesty. You have to go to bed now so that you can wake up on time tomorrow.”

“Uh-huh. I got it.”

Lee Hong-wi knew that he couldn’t change overnight.

Kim Nae-gwan’s face brightened at Lee Hong-wi’s nodding words.

The candlelight flickered with the hard-working young king and the loyal subject who assisted him.

“Cut! Okay”

The shooting of both scenes ended without any NGs.

Woo Jeong-han checked the time and said something to the assistant director. The assistant director nodded and shouted.

“We’ll have lunch now! It’s a food truck sent by Seo-jun’s fan cafe. Let’s eat well and shoot hard!”

“Thank you!”

There was applause from among the staff members.

Seo-jun smiled and bowed politely.

There were pizzas stretching out, fresh salad pasta, spicy kimchi, hearty soybean paste stew, and fluffy rice. Sweet shrimp chili, sweet and sour pork, and deliciously colored dongpo pork.

Western, Korean, and Chinese food trucks were lined up.

The staff members’ faces brightened as they received the food.

They took whatever they wanted and laid it out on the table.

It was a feast.

They quickly put the food in their mouths.

The staff members’ expressions relaxed for a moment.

The delicious food stimulated their sense of smell and taste.

They couldn’t believe they were eating lunch during the shooting.

“It’s really good! Is this from a hotel?”

“Yeah. It’s famous for being delicious. I wanted to go there once, but I didn’t think I’d get to eat it like this!”

“Seo-jun’s food truck from his fans is different.”

“Just look at the number of people.”

There was also an overseas fan cafe, but Seo-jun’s main activity area was Korea, and his Korean fan cafe was the most famous.

When they heard the news of his role in this movie, [From Sprout] rolled up their sleeves.

-We didn’t think about it during the drama, but we have to do it this time!

-We have a lot of members, so we can send pretty good food even with little money.

-The overseas fan cafe also said they would send some, so we might be able to send it several times.

-It would be nice to send some hot packs or thermal products too.

Although too many cooks spoil the broth, there was no noise from the fans who wished that Seo-jun would finish the shooting safely, comfortably, and strongly.

[Notice: Movie set food truck support.]

We are planning to support a food truck for Seo-jun’s movie set.

We will open a fundraising account at 8 p.m. on Thursday, and the support account will be automatically closed when the target amount is reached.

To collect more fans’ hearts, you can donate up to 10,000 won per person.

Thank you.

-…Why do I feel like last year’s fan meeting ticketing?

-I can’t believe it’s so hard to give money.

-Do I have to go to a PC room again?

-Seo-jun doesn’t accept giftsㅠ I want to send him something like thisㅠㅠ

-If we combine the firepower of overseas fans, we can send it throughout the shootingㅠ I’m worried that he might tell us not to send it if we send it too often.

=I’m sure the staff will handle that wellㅠ

He had heard stories, but Seo-jun’s eyes sparkled at the three amazing food trucks.

He also liked the messages from the fans written here and there.

He read each one as if he was engraving them in his eyes.

Seo-jun’s cheeks turned red. He was so happy.

“Seo-jun. Let’s take a proof photo.”

“Yes!”

At Anh Da Ho’s words, Seo-jun in a dragon robe stood in front of the food truck.

Anh Da Ho took a picture of Seo-jun’s careful expression as he chose his side dishes.

He put the food he had chosen on the table and Seo-jun posted a thank-you note with a picture on his fan cafe.

[This is Seo-jun! Thank you all! I’ll eat well!]
