Chapter 163

[Actor Lee Seo-jun, filming a rebellion scene!]

[With the food truck sent by his fans! Lee Seo-jun in a dragon robe!]

The reporters who were watching the fan cafe quickly posted articles, unaware that Seo-jun was sitting at the table.

Park Woon-yeol and Kim Ho-young, who were already seated, greeted Seo-jun.

“It’s delicious, right? Teacher?”

“Yes, it is. The vegetable salad is also tasty.”

Seo-jun and Park Woon-yeol smiled and ate the vegetable salad.

Kim Ho-young, who was sitting at the same table, looked awkward, but he slowly joined the conversation.

“How was the Hollywood shooting?”

“The set was amazing. When we filmed Shadowman, they made part of Central Park.”

“Wow.”

Park Woon-yeol and Kim Ho-young widened their eyes at the scale.

Seo-jun continued excitedly.

“They also made Over the Rainbow Park.”

“Is it different from where you busked?”

“Yes. The place where I busked was next to LA Music Academy, and the park where we filmed was on the set.”

Then, the phone rang. .

It was Kim Ho-young’s phone.

Kim Ho-young was surprised and took out his phone.

He had turned it on for a while because it was lunchtime, but somehow they knew, and the timing was good.

What should I do? Kim Ho-young looked troubled, and Park Woon-yeol said.

“Answer it. It might be an urgent call.”

“Yes. I’ll answer it quickly.”

Seo-jun nodded as well.

“Then, excuse me for a moment.”

Kim Ho-young got up from his seat and moved away from the table to answer the phone.

Seo-jun smiled as he heard the voice of a girl shouting from across the phone.

-Dad, are you really filming with Lee Seo-jun!

“Yes. I told you so.”

-Can’t you send me a picture? My friends don’t believe me.

“Dad is working right now…”

Besides, it was only the second time he met him, and if he asked for such a favor, others would ask for it too.

He didn’t want to be a burden rather than a help. Kim Ho-young’s daughter understood his reluctant voice.

-Um. If you can’t, then there’s nothing I can do.

Still, she couldn’t hide all her disappointment.

Hearing his daughter’s disappointed voice, Kim Ho-young rolled his eyes and saw the food truck.

“Do you want me to send you a picture of the food truck?”

-Food truck?

“Yes. It’s the food truck that Lee Seo-jun’s fans sent him. He took a picture and posted it on his fan cafe. Wouldn’t that be proof if it’s the same?”

His daughter, Ji-soo, talked to her friends. They were noisy. Ji-soo said in a happy voice.

-They said it’s okay! Hurry up and take a picture and send it to me!

“Okay.”

-Dad, good luck with filming! I love you!

“I love you too.”

Kim Ho-young smiled brightly at his daughter’s words and took pictures of the food truck diligently.

He looked at Lee Seo-jun’s picture in the article and took pictures from the same angle and different angles.

The staff and Park Woon-yeol tilted their heads at Kim Ho-young’s behavior.

Only Seo-jun, who had sharp ears, knew why and chuckled.

Kim Ho-young returned to the table with a smile and explained his situation.

“My daughter asked me to take a picture of where I work, so…”

Kim Ho-young rubbed his neck as if he was embarrassed.

Seo-jun laughed as he knew the truth.

He thought he should take a picture with him later for Ji-soo, who understood her dad.

Park Woon-yeol nodded.

“I see. How old is your daughter?”

“She’s in fourth grade now.”

Kim Ho-young smiled softly as he thought of his daughter.

“That must make your acting more affectionate.”

Park Woon-yeol nodded, and Kim Ho-young scratched his head and laughed.

“As I researched about Danjong, I realized how hard he must have been as a child. It helped me a lot to act as if I were my daughter.”

“That’s a good way too.”

Kim Ho-young smiled brightly at Park Woon-yeol’s words.

Park Woon-yeol added one more thing.

“But don’t get too immersed in your role. A role is a role and an actor is an actor. You need to keep enough distance.”

“Yes. I understand.”

Kim Ho-young nodded, but he didn’t seem to fully understand.

It was better to learn this by experience than by words.

Park Woon-yeol, who had a calm smile, turned his head and looked at Seo-jun.

He knew that this kid had an amazing acting skill that was unbelievable.

“Seo-jun is in sixth grade, right?”

“I’ll be a middle schooler when I graduate this week. But the entrance ceremony is still far away.”

“Graduation?”

“Yes. They have the end-of-vacation ceremony and the sixth-grade graduation ceremony together.”

“I see. Congratulations on your graduation.”

“Thank you.”

Seo-jun smiled brightly.

Everyone smiled warmly at the friendly atmosphere of the actors.

Lunchtime was over and they started preparing for the next shoot.

“Next scene, please.”

The assistant director’s voice was heard. The actors went to their places.

Seo-jun sat on the mat, Kim Ho-young stood in his place, and Park Woon-yeol settled in his place.

Park Woon-yeol adjusted the fake beard on his chin and asked.

“Are you cold?”

“I have a heat pack here. What about you, teacher?”

“The set is warm, so I’m fine.”

Seo-jun lifted the mat he was sitting on slightly and showed it.

Park Woon-yeol saw the heat packs on the floor covered by the mat and nodded.

The atmosphere was still like a grandfather and a grandson, and the staff checked the script.

“This scene shouldn’t be so friendly…”

“Right. They usually get emotional before shooting.”

The staff opened their mouths little by little, and the friendly director’s voice covered them.

“Ready-”

The two actors who were chatting with smiling faces changed their expressions in an instant at the director’s shout. Kim Ho-young, who was standing on one side of the set, couldn’t catch up with the change.

The set was silent with the immersion of the two actors.

They couldn’t even swallow their saliva.

The director, who was looking at the screen, shouted.

“Action!”

Lee Hong-wi sat down and unfolded the scroll that Kim Jong-seo handed him.

It had a description of the office and three names written vertically.

Lee Hong-wi read each letter slowly.

Kim Jong-seo said in a heavy voice.

He was still dignified despite being over seventy years old.

“Please choose the official who will be the prime minister. Your Majesty.”

Lee Hong-wi’s eyes didn’t move from one place as he looked at the scroll.

Splash.

It was as if Lee Hong-wi’s toes touched a cold wave, he shrank. But as if it was a mistake, the cold droplet soon disappeared.

He wiggled his toes that no one could see and opened his mouth.

“Prime Minister. What is this yellow dot?”

Kim Jong-seo sat stiffly and opened his mouth.

Once again, he heard the sound of water splashing.

An inexplicable atmosphere descended.

“I present to you the talent I recommend. He is not only skilled, but also has a good character. He will be of great help to you.”

Lee Hong-wi looked at Kim Jong-seo.

He was the minister who served Halbama.

He was the minister whom Abama trusted.

Lee Hong-wi nodded his head as he blinked his eyes.

“Very well. Then, I will choose him.”

Splash.

The black water surged up to Lee Hong-wi’s feet and disappeared.

“Cut! Okay!”

And just like that, the mood of the two actors changed.

They threw away their serious faces and started chatting friendly again.

Kim Ho-young and the staff looked at Lee Seo-jun and Park Woon-yeol with surprised eyes.

The mood change was faster than lightning.

Kim Ho-young suddenly thought.

‘Is this, the distance from the role?’

The two actors were free to immerse and detach themselves.

Even if they were smiling brightly, they could get angry and cry as soon as the shooting started.

‘Can I do that too?’

No.

Feeling a burning thirst in his throat, Kim Ho-young looked at the two actors.

The acting he saw in front of him was what he had to aim for.

Kim Ho-young blamed himself.

He was not only getting fame from this movie.

He realized how stupid he was.

‘Let’s learn from them.’

Kim Ho-young’s eyes met the actor who made the world cry.

***

The day of the graduation ceremony at Masil Elementary School.

Seo Eun-hye and Lee Min-joon headed to Masil Elementary School with excitement.

“I can’t believe we’re graduating…”

“Time flies so fast.”

The couple looked at the parents who were gathering in the auditorium with moved faces.

The other parents were also excited about their children’s graduation ceremony.

“Did you make a reservation, at the Chinese restaurant?”

Seo Eun-hye smiled at Lee Min-joon’s words.

She remembered the day when she ate jajangmyeon with her younger brother Seo Eun-chan and her mother at her graduation ceremony a long time ago.

“Yes. Mom and Eun-chan will arrive on time too.”

“Mom and dad are coming too. It’s been a while since we all ate out together.”

The couple chatted as they waited for their son.

***

“It’s graduation day. It feels a lot different from kindergarten.”

“We have to go to middle school now. We have to wear uniforms and take exams.”

The children’s faces became gloomy at Ji-hoo’s words.

They liked becoming adults, but they hated exams.

“Seo-jun doesn’t have a perfect attendance award.”

“I didn’t expect it either. When did he ever miss a day?”

The children laughed at Seo-jun’s words.

There were diplomas and awards on the children’s desks.

From awards that most of them could get, like perfect attendance, to awards that only those who excelled in certain subjects could get.

There were also small awards that the homeroom teacher gave to the children.

“A great doctor award.”

Ji-hoo said.

“It says ‘I hope you become a great doctor’.”

Ji-hoo, who dreamed of becoming a doctor, smiled brightly.

The children who had not decided on their future dreams yet learned what they were good at through the awards.

Lively Ji-o, diligent Ji-yoon, mature Mi-na.

The homeroom teacher had been watching the children closely for a year.

“This is mine.”

Seo-jun showed his award.

“A cool actor award.”

[Cool actor award]

Masil Elementary School 6th grade 2nd class Lee Seo-jun

We hope you continue your awesome activities.

Homeroom teacher.

He didn’t get a perfect attendance award, but he got a cooler one.

Seo-jun packed his award, graduation album, and other things in his bag.

When the children were finishing their last packing, the homeroom teacher called each one of them and said goodbye.

The children’s eyes welled up with tears at the teacher’s words.

And it was Seo-jun’s turn.

“I’m sure the kids will want to take pictures with Seo-jun after the graduation ceremony, but what do you want to do? If you don’t like it, I’ll make an exit for you.”

Seo-jun smiled as he blinked his eyes.

“It’s the last time. It’s okay. Of course, I can’t take pictures with everyone though.”

“Okay. How about taking pictures with two classes each for 5th grade and 6th grade?”

“Yes. That’s fine.”

The class was small and there were not many students anyway.

Seo-jun and the homeroom teacher laughed.

“Thank you for everything.”

Seo-jun was grateful to the homeroom teacher who treated him as one of the students, not discriminating him.

“Me too. Thank you for working hard on your school life.”

The homeroom teacher smiled and said, not knowing how thankful he was for not ignoring the children because he was famous, and getting along with everyone.

“Take care in middle school.”

“Yes!”

The homeroom teacher opened his mouth after checking that all the kids had packed their stuff.

“Alright, shall we go?”

The sixth grade second class kids moved with their teacher.

They passed the hallway where they used to run around during breaks, and used the stairs in front of the library where they had evacuation drills.

Past the third grade classrooms, the second grade classrooms, and the first grade classrooms.

Seo-jun, who remembered more clearly than the others, saw the images of his friends laughing and running in the hallway like a fantasy.

He had spent six years in this school.

There was no place without memories.

He didn’t remember everything, but the other kids looked gloomy too.

With a mixed feeling, the sixth graders headed to the auditorium where the graduation ceremony would be held.

The sixth graders appeared in the auditorium of Masil Elementary School.

The kids’ eyes turned to the parents who were gathered at the back.

“Mom and dad!”

The kids waved their hands as they met their parents’ eyes.

Seo-jun also found his mom and dad and smiled brightly as he waved his hand.

The couple also waved their hands hard to Seo-jun.

There was a beautiful bouquet of flowers in his mom’s arms.

There were sixth and fifth graders in the auditorium, and the fifth graders clapped for their seniors who were graduating.

The other grades had already finished their closing ceremony and went home. Ji-o chuckled at the bored faces of the fifth graders.

“I also wanted to go home quickly when I was in fifth grade.”

The fifth graders who would be in this place next year attended the graduation ceremony as a preview.

That’s why some of the emotional fifth graders looked at the sixth graders with vague faces.

The fifth grade representative who would be the student council president next year gave a farewell speech, and the sixth grade student council president gave a reply speech.

“If Seo-jun had run, it would have been Seo-jun for sure.”

Seo-jun laughed at Ji-yoon’s words.

“I was busy filming.”

They listened to the teacher’s words, and heard the impressions of the student council who worked hard this year, and slowly the graduation ceremony came to an end.

“This concludes the graduation ceremony of Masil Elementary School.”

At the end of the principal’s words, the kids and parents applauded.

The kids who left great memories at school cried with their friends who they had to part with as they went to different schools, and also took pictures with their phones.

“Let’s take a picture too.”

The kids who had already cried enough when they moved smiled brightly and held up their cameras.

“One, two, three. Kimchi!”

Snap,

Kim Ji-yoon, Mi-na Owen, Park Ji-hoo, Park Ji-o.

They took pictures with their baby friends whom they would never forget for life.

‘Well, it’s not like we can never meet again.’

As he checked the picture and smiled, Seo-jun saw a bright bouquet of flowers in front of his eyes.

He looked up and saw his mom and dad smiling brightly.

Seo-jun smiled like a flower.

“Mom, dad!”

“Let’s take a picture with mom and dad too.”

“Yes!”

He took pictures with his mom and dad, his classmates, and his teachers.

He also took pictures with his friends who were in the same class in fourth and fifth grade but separated in sixth grade.

When the fifth and sixth graders who had nothing to do with Seo-jun looked at him with envious eyes, Seo-jun’s homeroom teacher grabbed the microphone.

“Lee Seo-jun has agreed to spare some time for us. We’ll take pictures with two classes each for fifth grade and sixth grade.”

The unexpected photo time made cheers fill the auditorium.

The homeroom teachers of each class moved.

The fifth grade first and second class kids who were cheering quickly gathered together like they did when they took group photos.

Seo-jun sat in the center and made a V sign with two fingers.

After taking all the pictures and saying goodbye to his friends, Seo-jun stood on the playground with his mom and dad and looked at the school.

The huge school looked exactly like it did six years ago at the entrance ceremony.

That made it easier to remember.

Seo Eun-hye and Lee Min-joon looked at the school with longing eyes.

“It feels like it was just yesterday that we had our entrance ceremony.”

“I know. Seo-jun was so small when he entered, but he’s already graduating. Time goes by so fast.”

Seo-jun, who was holding the bouquet that his mom and dad gave him, said.

“When I had my entrance ceremony, it felt so big, but now it doesn’t look as big as it did then.”

“That’s because Seo-jun has grown so much.”

“When did he grow this much?”

Lee Min-joon ruffled Seo-jun’s hair. Seo-jun laughed out loud. The couple also smiled brightly.

“Oh, we’re going to be late for our appointment. Let’s go quickly.”

“Okay!”

As Seo-jun left the school gate with his mom and dad, he turned his head and looked at the school.

Masil Elementary School.

He said goodbye to the school where he would never have to go to or leave again.
