The Wu Family being a cultivating family had many abilities that are hidden from the public. They were able to make anyone disappear, whether it be another powerful families head, a common man, even a fly if they wanted (why tho). In essence they are the strongest family, out of all 10 major families. Now these major families aren't only powerful on the economic side, they are also powerful on the side of cultivation. Which is a no brainier, but whatever. They also had great bloodlines which aided in cultivation.
Now the families had different bloodlines, the Wu family has the Ying-Yang Cosmic Dragon, but has been diluted into the Semi Zeng Dragon, Song family has the Phoenix bloodline, Long family has the Azure Dragon bloodline, Feng family has the White Tiger Bloodline, Fang family has the Black Tiger bloodline, Zen family has the Buddhist bloodline, Gen family has the leviathan bloodline, and the rest of the families are unimportant as of know.

Wu Xiang was disheartened that his wife had died due to the birth of his son, which was still unnamed. After he got off the grid he would be able to know the status of his family and how the world reacted to the large and crazy phenomenon. He called his Secret Force and asked them for a brief rundown on what happened after the birth of his *unnamed* son.
Secret Agent #1: "Your Majesty, the family is having a major dispute, fights are breaking out, some elders are joining our enemies side what should I/We do?"
Wu Xiang: " Leave them, they will regret their decision, in five years, and you will know soon as well"
Secret Agent#2: "Sir, the Twin Families are getting rowdier, because their leaders have gained an increase in realms, we have the man power to shut them down, only asking for our permission." From how he started his sentence you could see that he is in a higher positioning than agent #1.
At this stage, Wu Xiang had multiple choices as of know, he could disperse the family, or keep it going, he could even destroy all opposition , either way his family will once again rise up against, "those who are above." Now all that is left, is to make a decision, and the decision he made was:
Wu Xiang: "Leave them there is no need to subdue them, tell the rest of the family, those who are still loyal, to fall back and go into hiding, leave five percent, of our wealth, for those overgrown house cats."
Wu Xiang: 'ugh, now what do I do with this baby, i could give him too...' Right before he made his decision he heard a whisper in his ears, which sounded childish, 'wait until the next chap, let the readers decide bozo' without understanding what it meant, he decided to wait until tomorrow, but for now he could decide on the child's name. Which he then heard the same childish voice 'nice try buddy but mine and your naming sense aren't the best. So again wait for the readers to decide.' Wu Xiang decided again, that he would wait till tomorrow to decide on his child's near future and name.
