"I will no longer blindly follow beastmen orders. I'm a prisoner now that you took my status away. I will die not as Unit 1209. I will be known as the beastman named Blue.

Today I shall die my way." Holding up his claw, he hollered, "Steel Reaper!" A quick motion across his neck and Old Blue's body crumbled to the ground.

Leo saw many deaths and caused many deaths up to this point, but he never saw anyone commit suicide. He stood there motionless in the stadium.

Leo wasn't the only one unable to process what happened. The beastmen in the stands were stunned too. This thought process of being more than the number assigned to them made them start to question themselves. This free will Blue showcased opened a door beastman never thought about. Their civilization was always the strong commands the weak and strength valued above all else.

The one who brought this to Blue was actually the human he guarded. Every day even though he was a prisoner of sorts, Leo lived by his code and morals. When he nicknamed Blue, that was the first day he felt something he didn't know existed. The feeling was for a means of respect between men that appreciated each other.

The Collector was even a little surprised. He thought he was going to lose the Panthera Knight today and make Unit 1209 his new champion. The beastman didn't lose composure for too long, and he announced quickly not to let this beastman be a martyr.

"The prisoner forfeited his life. Panthera Knight wins!" The Collector paused then said, "killing yourself has disgraced your lineage, and this creature now known as Blue shall not be buried amongst his kind. His body shall burn."

The Collector threw out a small bomb that landed on the body and a flame ignited. In mere seconds the remains were transformed into ashes.

Leo looked up at the Collector. "I would kill you if I could," Leo whispered to himself. Balling his hand into a fist, this solidified his pursuit of strength. Only when Leo was strong enough would those around him be protected.

The big door opened and Leo left the arena.

The Collector watched as Leo left and knew he needed to kill this human before he got too powerful. He also couldn't soil his reputation too much. Then an idea came to him. The Collector would present a free for all. He recently captured some spies from other civilizations and now would be the perfect time to showcase them.

Walking down the corridor with his new guard, he looked over and asked, "did you know the beastman who died?"

"Knight, I was told not to talk to you or I would meet the same fate. I will tell you this Panthera Knight. I respected Unit 1209....I mean Blue a lot." The beastman said nothing else and just motioned Leo to get in his cell.

Three days came and went. Leo was now feeling better, and the wound he made had healed over. He started to consume the mana in Preaza's core, but the beast DNA and mana made it hard to absorb into the skin. Sprite informed him he would have to incorporate it slowly to temper his body.

On the fourth morning, the new guard knocked on his cell and Leo was walked to Gladiator Hall. "Knight you will be facing multiple opponents. You will mostly fall in today's battle. I suggest you equip yourself well."

"Who am I battling today?" The beastman just walked away like he never heard him. Leo looked around and noticed a few new iron and steel weapons were in the room. He put down a mace he was using for his last few fights and picked up a new steel one. This new one-handed weapon had a two-foot metal shaft and a large metal head at the end. Tiny spikes were wielded on the mace's head for a deadly effect.

Ever since Leo put the orb inside him, he saw a significant increase in his comprehension of the law of metal. Now he is at the first stage of touching upon the law for earth and metal.

The beastman returned and brought him to the arena door. He waited there for the announcement for Leo to enter. Then he heard a voice he despised.

"Beastmen, we have a special main event today. Today we will know which civilization has the strongest Mana Fighter. I shall introduce the first fighter in today's battle. You know him as Panthera Knight."

The giant metal door open and Leo entered the stadium. The crowd was cheering for him like crazy. They were chanting his name and his accomplishments.

Then the Collector put his plan into motion. "Panthera Knight does not represent us beastmen. He is a primitive human of this planet." This revelation caused all the beastmen in the crowd rethink on cheering for Leo. A beastman broke the silence and started to boo Panthera Knight. The Collector informed the guard to walk out and remove Leo's helm to add insult to injury.

Leo let the guard take the helm, and he stared out into a crowd that genuinely hated him now. This human killed many of their brethren. The group hoped, with all of their hearts, the human would die in today's battle.

"Next, I shall introduce a Mana Fighter from the planet of Blue-Pole. A mermanian spy caught sneaking into this city."

A humanoid man walked into the stadium holding a spear. Most mermanians trained with spears or polearms. He had blue skin and gills on his neck. He wore grey leather light armor covering most of the chest. On his two arms and legs were fins. He truly looked like a fish out of water.

"Boooooo." "Kill the mermanian!" "Die human fish." The crowd was upset, beastmen considered spies as the lowest of all warriors.

"Our third fight is a draconian scout I found attacking our canine brethren down south."

A female draconian walked through another set of metal doors. This one seemed very familiar to Leo. A humanoid figure with shiny orange scales looked over at Leo. Her crystal blue eyes instantly reminded him of the prisoner from the canine ship. Almost predicting what Leo was thinking she nodded at him then turned to see the next fighter walking out.

Our fourth fight today is a fighter from the planet named Adam. He is a human with bird wings. These puny humans think they are Adam's original children." The Collector said with a condescending voice.

A male with curly blonde hair stopped mid-walk and looked upon his adversaries. He pale skin and blue eyes gave off an angelic vibe. His white feathered wings could spread out almost three meters each. The man held a blade in his right hand that glistened like gold.

"Finally, we have a true representative of us beastmen. Unit 1's son. Unit 4002 enter." The crowd finally started to cheer. This was their representative, and they had to let the world know it.

The canine/bear variant beastman walked to the center of the stadium and howled. He was a proud beastman born to lead them in the future. He had silver fur and round ears. His hands were large and his build much larger than the other four opponents. He had dark eyes and was more beast than man. Today was the day; he would show his race that beastmen were strongest of them all.

"Participants get ready!" The crowd started to get excited and stomp there feet. The Collector looked down and smiled. "Commence the Battle Royal!"
