A man that Matt couldn't see, was holding a gun to his head. He couldn't think of anything else it could be. But he didn't dare to turn around.
Matt was screaming internally, this whole situation was too scary! But he knew it would be best not to scream aloud, or else the man might actually shoot him. Matt managed to speak up after a few seconds.
"Ok, no problem man!"
He was trying to sound casual, but in reality, he was more scared than he had ever been. He noticed the feeling of cold metal went away, as the man spoke up.
"Good, you can reach into your pockets, just don't try anything funny. Or you'll look like Swiss cheese before you can figure out how to pronounce bologna!"
Matt reached for his wallet, but he suddenly heard a 'ding!'

The quest almost gave him a heart attack.
'Oh come on, not now!'
Matt glanced at the details while slowly reaching for his wallet.
'Why do I need to know his name!? Who cares?!'
He sighed internally, moving his attention to the rewards. A stat point, XP, and there was even a mystery reward like his rent quest. But he wasn't happy.
'There's no way I'm gonna risk my life for this. And I'm already getting a mystery reward from my rent quest. I'll just have to fail this one.'
Matt finished his motion and gave his wallet to the robber. He did it slowly so as to not seem threatening. But, somehow he felt less scared than before. He laughed in his mind.
'Ned is not a very scary name I guess.'
Ned took his wallet with an excited grin and rifled through it. But then he suddenly frowned.
"Hey, there's no money in this thing!"
Matt thought for a second before saying.
"Of course not, who carries cash anymore?"
Ned's brow furrowed and he looked furious. He lifted the gun and aimed it straight at Matt.
'Oh shit! Fuck!'
Matt started to freak out. He hadn't realized this guy would be so impulsive. He basically dug his own grave.
'Why did I say it that way!?'
His mind went blank as he saw the gun pointing at him, he was so scared. He was trying to figure out if there was any way to live.
It happened in an instant. There was the sound of a gunshot, but Matt was unharmed. He had his hands raised with his [Storage] portal between him and where the gun was aiming.

'Holy shit that was awesome!'
Matt had a rush. He literally stopped a bullet, and adrenalin was running through him.
'He looks confused, can he not see the portal?'
While Matt was thinking Ned snapped out of it and aimed the gun again.
'Oh shit!'
Matt quickly pushed the portal forward, and in an instant, Ned's gun was gone.

Ned looked confused, but also furious.
"What the fuck is going on!?"
Matt realized this power was pretty OP. It was basically a shield, as long as the object wasn't too big, and his storage wasn't full, and of course, if he could aim it properly.
Ned pulled out a knife and charged at Matt, filled with fury. His face was red with anger and he was breathing heavily.
"I don't what you fuckin' did, but It's over brat!"
He swung the knife at Matt, and it was aimed at his chest. But he simply moved the portal in the way of the swing.

Matt grinned, reveling in his intelligence and OP powers.
"OK THAT'S IT"
Ned shouted as he put up his fist and swung, hitting Matt in the stomach, as he was already close to him. It caught him off guard and sent Matt reeling back, clutching his stomach. The punch hurt so badly, he threw up.

Matt looked up and saw Ned standing over him. But he realized something he hadn't before because he had only been worried about his weapons. Ned had muscles for days.
'Oh shit, wait, I can't beat this guy! He's built like a cliff!'
Ned attempted to kick him in the stomach while he was on the ground, and he barely rolled out of the way.
"Stop squirming and let me kill you!" Ned shouted.
'Who would stop when you say that!?'
This guy was way too scary, he didn't even think about trying to fight him. Matt got back onto his feet and avoided another punch before running as fast as he could.
He was so thankful for his agility stat, if this was before, there was no way he could run this fast. He turned and saw Ned was chasing him, yelling obscenities, but not keeping up.
Matt breathed a sigh of relief. That was all way too stressful for him. But then he slowed down. He looked at the ground, deep in thought.
Ned saw him slowing down and ran to catch up with him, anger still filling his bones. But Matt looked strange, so he became cautious.
Matt sighed.
'I can't believe I was about to run away. There's a mystery reward right in front of me. The guy isn't even armed anymore! How could I ever call myself a real gamer if I ran from this!!!'
Matt turned to face Ned, his eyes dark, with a serious expression on his face.
Ned was still angry but smiled.
"Haha, you finally grew some balls! Come here, time for you to get a beating!"
Matt continued to stare at the ground as he walked slowly toward him. Ned put his fists up, ready to strike. But in an instant, there was a horrible crunching sound.
Matt had kicked Ned straight in the balls, hard. Ned collapsed in pure agony on the ground. He clutched his balls while wailing and crying.
'I'm sorry. As a fellow man, I understand your suffering and I will cry for you later. But it had to be done…'
Matt stared in the distance with a stoic look as Ned rolled on the ground in pain.
