"Thanks." After the new keyboard was set, Ji Yanli thanked him and sat down to redo her work again. Also, she began to make several drafts for her future work. Her face was normal this time as she began to work on her computer seriously.

"Stop disturbing me!" She pushed his head back with her forefinger and started to type again.
"Come with me. Please? How can hotpot be eaten alone?!" Wang Haixiao stood straight and requested her.
After she had come to the office and started to do her work, she didn't take even a single break. As if she wanted to finish everything today.
"I have a lot of work to do. I don't have time to eat hotpot." Ji Yanli replied as she stopped typing for a second and reached for the water mug placed on the left side of the desk but didn't break her eye contact from the screen. But when she placed the mug at her lips and tried to drink, she found the mug was empty.
Wang Haixiao had already returned to his desk and was putting his important papers in his bag.
Ji Yanli stood up and went to the office pantry. She drank one full glass of water there. Also, when she returned, she brought a glass of black coffee and a strawberry cakes' packet with her. Wang Haixiao hurriedly walked out of the room when he saw Ji Yanli was coming.
When she sat down on her seat and looked at the computer screen, it was black.
"Huh! Wh.. What the?! My drafts!" She abruptly stood up and clutched her head. There were so many words in the doc files she was editing earlier. If she didn't find them, she might as well go to jump on the ocean.
Ji Yanli hurriedly turned on the computer and searched for her works. When she found them saved, she felt her soul just returned to her body.
"Oh God! It must be that stupid Haixiao's doing! Made me suddenly so worked up! Offf!..." When Ji Yanli just clicked on a file to work further, the whole office went dark. Her forefinger froze above the enter key.

Then she placed the important files in the little drawers of the desk and took the ones she thought she would work at night in her apartment.
She took her bag and walked out from the office room with the phone in her hand. When she walked out from the main entrance of that office apartment, she saw the light outside was turned on thus she turned off the lights.
'Tsk! Trying to mess with me… Just you wait!' Ji Yanli thought as she walked into the lift and went down.
The whole building had lights, except the floor she was working. When she reached the ground floor, it was empty. No one was there.
Ji Yanli slowly walked towards the entrance as she turned her head from this side to that side but didn't see anyone.
"All of the people have left already?! Where are the security guards? How irresponsible!..." She murmured as she went out of the building and didn't find anyone either.
When Ji Yanli stepped out from the building and was walking towards the parking lot, the lights of the building behind her went off. She flinched in her spot and turned behind.
"What is happening?!" Ji Yanli was panicking when she hurriedly started to walk towards her car. She even felt scared when she didn't spot a single human in the surroundings. Only a dog's loud and clear barking was heard from afar.
Ji Yanli took out her car key and inserted it into the lock of the car door. When she was doing that her hand became clumsy and the car key dropped on the ground. But then she felt someone's presence behind her. From the rearview mirror, she saw a man in a black hoodie coming near her.
At first, she had the hunch that Wang Haixiao was playing a prank on her but the man's physics didn't match with Wang Haixiao's. She gulped down her saliva and picked the key from the ground.
A bunch of murder scenes from movies began to play in her head. The atmosphere perfectly matched with those scenes where people were brutally killed. Few drops of sweat began to form on her head when she successfully opened the door and jumped in the driver's seat. The next second she locked her car door.
'Huh, huh! What is happening? Is someone after my life?!' Ji Yanli thought till now when the man came near her car's window and knocked on it. When she turned towards the window she saw a very horrifying scene, the man was wearing a disgusting face mask while his eyes were blood red. He motioned Ji Yanli to open the door.
"Ahhhhh !!!" Ji Yanli screamed at the top of her lungs when she saw the man. She turned on the engine of the car and wanted to drive away but the man walked in front of the car.
"Go away from the front! Want to die?! Are you a lunatic?!" The woman screamed as she drove the car behind but the man didn't leave the car and jumped on the front of the car.
Ji Yanli quickly unlocked the phone screen of her and typed the emergency number to call when the man outside of the car came to the front glass of the car and mocked her by showing her his black tongue. His teeth were also black.
"Eww! So Disgusting!"
'This man is undoubtedly trying to screw me up!' Ji Yanli thought till here when a cool sensation struck her right ear.
The air-conditioner was turned off and all the windows were locked. She slowly turned her head behind when she heard a loud sound beside her ear.
"Boom! Hahaha! Yanli, you really became scared!" Wang Haixiao began to laugh aloud. Earlier, he was hiding in the back seat and Ji Yanli didn't notice him due to her anxiety.
Ji Yanli felt she lost her breath when someone suddenly appeared behind her. She was going to have a minor heart attack if the person was someone else. In a panic, she even lost her grip on the phone and it dropped beside her foot.
"How dare you fool me?! You piece of trash!" She turned around and began to hit him hard. But in return, her hand turned red. So she took her bag and didn't even care about her precious babies (files) as her beating was becoming loud.
"Yanli! Yanli! Stop beating me. Do you want to kill me?! I was just joking!" Wang Haixiao tried to explain to her as he was shielding his face from her beating which didn't even leave a single scratch on his body.

"Who is he?" Ji Yanli asked as she threw the imaginary daggers at the man beside her.
"You didn't realise? He is one of our security guards? Why?" Wang Haixiao asked her as he signaled the man sneakily to go away.
"Security guard?! Huh! I'm gonna sue him." Ji Yanli moved her butt as she wanted to go to the front but Wang Haixiao dragged her behind.
"Ah! Haixiao!" Ji Yanli dropped on the back seat and looked at him with her angry eyes. The disguised man already got down from the car's front and ran towards the office building.

"Yanli… it was my idea to scare you. He just did what his superior told him. Sue me if you want."
