Yuexin was surprised for a second as the man asked her about Luo Lixi right away. He had a poker face and was appearing impatient to her. it was clear that Luo Lixi didn't know he would come.
Yuexin raised her right hand and pointed towards a direction. Sheng Ruming followed her hand direction and saw the shop she pointed at.
"You don't need to wait for her anymore. I will take her somewhere after she finishes."
"I understand." Afterwards, Sheng Ruming dashed towards the escalator and jumped through the moving stairs.
Yuexin turned her eyes towards the man who had already reached the second floor and madly ran towards that shop. The little girl beside her was awed as her sight followed Sheng Ruming.
"Sarah, let's go home." She rubbed the child's head and lifted her from the sofa and placed her down on the floor.
Then Yuexin took all the shopping bags and started to walk towards the exit of the shopping mall.
After going out, she waited for a taxi to come. The woman was glancing around while the little girl was standing still by her feet.
A black car which was parked at the parking lot all this time started to drive quietly the moment they walked out.
Right then and there, the black car came towards them and slowly stopped. Two men walked out and one of them took all the things from her hands. The other one opened the door of the back seat and the first man put all the things inside.
"Madam, please enter." Without saying anything, Yuexin lifted Sarah and placed her in the passenger seat. Afterwards, she also entered.
"Will you go somewhere else or towards the penthouse?" The one who had sat on the driver's seat asked her.
"To the penthouse." After the man got the command, he drove the car away. Yuexin glanced outside and sighed inwardly. There was a tinge of sorrow in her phoenix eyes.

Sheng Ruming hurriedly came before the shop he was pointed at and entered it. But after he walked in and glanced around the place, he didn't find the woman he wanted to see.
Rather there were a lot of ladies and some couples were present. When he came, all of them turned towards him.
Normally, only women would come to this shop and many couples. The woman would usually want her man to choose some pieces for her.
Nonetheless, Sheng Ruming didn't find Luo Lixi. 'Has she already gone away from here?' He thought and walked out.
The woman at the counter narrowed her eyes when she witnessed this scene. "Men these days... Tsk Tsk! Don't they have eyes? You should enter before you see the shop's name." She mumbled and shook her head in annoyance. She thought he might have entered the wrong shop without checking. Afterwards, she resumed her work that was painting her nails with bright red nail polish.
Then a phone rang out and the sound came from the purse which was placed on the counter.
In a few seconds, Sheng Ruming again entered the shop and this time he had a phone beside his ear while he was holding it.
The man followed the ringtone and came to the counter. His brows knitted in confusion as his sight fell on the purse. Then he cut the call and reached for the purse but it was snatched before he could touch it.
The woman saw the man coming before her and staring at the purse. From this, she guessed he might be someone related to that lady. But she didn't let him have the purse though.
"Young man, it's very rude of you to come here and without saying anything, trying to grab something of others without permission."
The woman began to curl her hair locks when she was talking. The way she was talking, made her look like a temptress.
Then Sheng Ruming again called Luo Lixi's number and the sound began to come from the purse again. This time, he was sure that it was Luo Lixi's.
"It's my fiancée's purse. Where is she? Or has she forgotten it here when she went away?" Sheng Ruming calmly asked her. If Luo Lixi had left this behind then his plan might have failed even before he could execute it. He came here straight to buy her the cutest things in the shop.
The woman chuckled the kind when a person was up to something.
"Then, your fiancée must be the lady who is currently in the changing room? Will you wait here for her or should I bring you there?"

"I will wait for her here." He went to stand at the side. Then a couple came to the counter and bought the things they wanted.
Sheng Ruming didn't glance at them. His sight was fixed outside. A few minutes later, Luo Lixi came out from the changing room and walked towards the counter.

"Cough! Miss, I want to buy them." Luo Lixi hurriedly went ahead and stopped before the counter. Then she handed the card to her. The woman accepted it and made a receipt for her. Then she packed everything and gave it to Luo Lixi.
When Sheng Ruming turned his head and looked at her, she glared at him and mouthed, 'Just you wait.' Luo Lixi was pissed at him. Sheng Ruming shifted his sight towards the woman who returned the purse to her.
Without saying anything, Luo Lixi walked ahead and Sheng Ruming followed her. Then he walked in big strides and reached beside her. Then he took her left hand in his right hand and took her shopping bag away.
"Why are you walking so fast? Slow down." Sheng Ruming told her because she was trying to walk fast and her breathing was uneven. Luo Lixi slowed down and turned at him.
"What are you doing here? You didn't tell me that you are coming." Her sound was soft when she was speaking. Just that earlier she felt uncomfortable and jealous in the shop when some women were staring at him.
"I just missed you and thought of coming here to see you." Sheng Ruming answered right away. He would never admit that he had come here with another intention but changed his mind when he saw her sour mood.
"Okay, then." She stopped walking and faced him, "Will you go back with me or to the company?" Sheng Ruming placed a quick kiss on her forehead and backed away in a split second. He didn't give her any moment to react.
"Where you will go, I will follow." Luo Lixi stared straight at him and didn't reply. She just smiled and dragged him away.
The couple didn't know that unbeknown to them, a man was taking their picture. He had been following Sheng Ruming from the time he had come out from the branch office till the when he had entered the shop. He had waited patiently and finally, he got the pictures he wanted.
Luo Lixi and Sheng Ruming went down the escalators. When she walked towards the public lounge area, she didn't see Yuexin or Sarah. Then she took out her phone to make a call but he stopped her.
"I have met them before going to see you. They have already returned."
"Oh." She put the phone away and both of them walked towards the exit. After they had entered the car, Luo Lixi hastily tugged at the shawl covering her upper body and removed it at one move.
"Oh! Too hot! I was feeling so suffocated in it." Luo Lixi fanned herself with her left hand and turned towards him.
"Hurry up. Turn on the AC." At her urging, he closed all the windows of the car doors and turned on the AC. When he went to help her put on the safety belt, he noticed something. Her skin in the neck area was flushed red and it was wet from sweats. The back of her right ear was also wet. The dress she was wearing was too revealing.
Sheng Ruming gulped down the lump he felt in his throat and hastily helped her to bind the seat belt. Afterwards, the car drove past many cars and went on the main road.

The ex-chief manager Tan had already moved away from the flat the company had given him. Now he rented another apartment and got settled in it for now.
