Su Mengsi and Yan Ruomin slowly walked into the Sheng Villa. There wasn't any other person outside. After they had gotten down, the driver drove away the car from the Villa's entrance.
Su Mengsi hooked her hands with Yan Ruomin as they made their way. Yan Ruomin still had her big sunglasses covering most of her upper face.
After they had reached inside, Aunt Lin walked towards them from afar.
"Aunt Lin, where is Airan?" Su Mengsi slightly nodded her head before she asked the old housekeeper. Even though the latter was only a worker of this household, she was older than her, also Wei Airan respected her a lot.
"Madam is currently in the back garden. Both of you shall go there. She has been waiting for you two since morning." Aunt Lin replied to Su Mengsi. The old housekeeper had to go to the kitchen to instruct the chefs to make some refreshments for them.
"Grandma Lin, how have you been?" Yan Ruomin asked in her sweet voice. When Aunt Lin turned her sight towards her, Yan Ruomin smiled sweetly.
"This old woman is good as always." Aunt Lin took her leave after she finished talking. Then both of them started to walk towards the inside of the villa and walked at the right side. There was a long corridor straightened towards the backyard. As they made their way towards there, they heard two women's voices.
".... Shall I give spray water here?"
"Yes. You can." Yan Ruomin's face twisted in anger when she heard. Soon they reached there.
At the back of the main building of the Sheng Villa, there was a big garden. Various kinds of flower species were there. Some of them even couldn't be grown properly without delicate care. Normally two professional gardeners took care of it.
But now, Wei Airan was crouching down beside one of the flower trees and Ji Yanli was standing beside her. Both of them were talking cheerfully.
Wei Airan examined the tree and cut the big pink beautiful roses and put them in a basket. When she told, Ji Yanli would water the tree. Yan Ruomin immediately felt her belly clenching in jealousy. After that night, she didn't like Ji Yanli anymore, though she didn't have any good feelings for her.
Also, the sufferings she underwent, the criticism she had to see on the Internet, her mind automatically accused Ji Yanli as the sole culprit. She wanted to cut those people's hands who wrote many hateful comments about her. Though it was cleaned up by Yan Luhan, her vengeance mind still held Ji Yanli responsible for it.
"Airan, we have come." As the mother-daughter made their presence known, the happily talking women stopped and turned towards them.
"Mengsi, come. I am just picking some flowers. After a while let's play mahjong. We have four people now." Su Mengsi walked ahead and stood beside her.
"Okay, then. Today, I am free. So I can play without any tension."
"I can't ask more then. I have called Bainian but she said she was busy and couldn't make it here." After she finished talking, she started to examine more flowers and cut those whom she liked.
"Yanli, it's been a while." Su Mengsi gently spoke out like how an elder talks with youngsters. Ji Yanli had her gentle smile plastered on her face but deep down she knew Su Mengsi was loathing her. Su Mengsi slowly turned aside and winked at her daughter. But Yan Ruomin was glancing at the huge garden. She also likes those flowers as many women do. As she was looking ahead, her mother's and her eyes met. Su Mengsi looked as if she would blow out any moment if she remained quiet any longer.
Thus Yan Ruomin walked ahead and softly spoke, "Hello, Aunty. How is your health now? Ma told me you have had a headache yesterday. I was very worried for you~ So when I knew she was coming here, I tagged along~ " Yan Ruomin acted cutely and spoke in her honey-coated voice. Also, her acting was topnotch to detect any errors.
Ji Yanli felt like puking when she witnessed this scene. 'How did she talk in that tone?! So childish and funny!' She sneered in her head and tsked when she saw Yan Ruomin was fiddling with her fingers. When she glanced at Su Mengsi, the woman appeared pleased. Their behaviour was somewhat odd.
"You should come more often. Also, Yan Luhan and Mu Jiang should come. Mengsi, bring them someday."
"I will." Su Mengsi nodded.
After she thought it was enough, Wei Airan stood up and huffed as she was feeling tired. She lightly patted her dress to throw the leaves of the trees from her dress. Also, she had been crouching down for a long time and felt numb in her legs a bit.
Ji Yanli's hands were holding the water pipe from where she was watering the plants she didn't get to hold Wei Airan.
Because of crouching down for a long time and standing up suddenly, Wei Airan lost her balance when she tried to walk a few steps. Yan Ruomin immediately took hold of her and helped her to remain standing.
"Be careful, aunty." She sounded very worried and helped Wei Airan to bring towards the sitting area. Many leather chairs and a table were there, it was to enjoy the natural scenery for people.
Ji Yanli hastily threw the water pipe aside and turned off the water supply. Then she followed the group.
"I'm becoming old now. Just doing such light work can make me tired." Wei Airan sighed and walked ahead with the help of Yan Ruomin.
"It's not only you. I'm also becoming older day by day." Both of them sighed at the same time. Time surely flies away quickly.
After all of them sat down on the chairs, Wei Airan took out some flowers and smelled them.
"Mengsi, look. This time's flowers are more beautiful and fragrant than the last time. I will try to make perfumes from it tonight." Wei Airan showed Su Mengsi the flowers just a while ago and both of them started to talk about the matter.
Ji Yanli and Yan Ruomin sat opposite of each other. The latter took off her sunglasses and placed them on the glass table before her. She ran her right hand through her hair and sweetly smiled at Ji Yanli. But Ji Yanli knew there were hidden daggers concealed in that flowery smile. Then she also dashed a smile in return and ran through her fingers at the edge of her fiery red plum lips.
Both of them smiled and immediately started a war of staring and smiling in various poses. While Wei Airan and Su Mengsi were seriously talking about how to make various handmade perfumes.
After a few minutes, the smile war between the two young ladies didn't die down and became more fierce than before. Now Wei Airan was biting onto her right forefinger slightly and flashed a sexy smile while Yan Ruomin took a hold of her black hair and was curling them, smiling cutely and she was blinking nonstop.
"Yanli, which flower…" Wei Airan felt bewildered when she turned towards Ji Yanli. Then her sight fell on Yan Ruomin. Both of them were smiling but in her eyes, those smiles looked kinda… creepy?
Su Mengsi also noticed this thing and felt incredible as to what her daughter was doing in Wei Airan's presence.
"Cough! Cough! Minmin, there is something on your face." At her mother's interruption, Yan Ruomin sobered from this unnoticeable war and began to touch her face. She didn't feel anything and turned towards her mother.
"Ma, where?" As she turned towards Su Mengsi, the woman gently put her pandemic at her right cheek and gave her a squeeze. Her eyes showed warning. Yan Ruomin understood that she did something wrong.
"It was just a fly. Must have come from the flower field." Yan Ruomin was awkward and remained silent.
When She turned towards Ji Yanli, the latter was smiling gently and said, "I also saw a bug earlier on your head. That one was kinda big. I was going to mention it but then it flew away."
