In the kitchen.
Sheng Ruming sat beside Luo Lixi. He was seated on a stool and he propped his head with his left hand. He placed both of his arms on the little table which was in the middle of the kitchen.
Currently, Luo Lixi had taken out all the things she had found in the freezer, here.
Earlier when he asked what she would make, her answer was…
"I don't know. I will think of it later. You shouldn't worry about it."
So now, after she had cut the capsicums, she started to cut the onion as he told her how to. But the man was confused as to why she was cutting those.
He didn't need to tell her a second time but the face she made as she was both crying and cutting, made him feel weird as if he was bullying his wife.
"Sob~ my tears aren't stopping. What to do?" Luo Lixi put down the knife on the chopper board and sniffed hard. She lightly rubbed her eyes. Sheng Ruming wiped her wet cheek and told her.
"Let me. I am feeling guilty. Even the onion is feeling guilty for you. Look, it has cried a lot for you." Sheng Ruming pointed at the unrecognizable substance on the board.
She had cut the capsicums beautifully but when the time for this made-people-cry thing came, she failed to cut it. Rather she nearly made a paste. The juices of it were sprayed on the chopping board.
Luo Lixi felt ashamed but she declared.
"It's okay. Today, I will make all the things and you will just have to sit beside me and wait for breakfast." Luo Lixi assured him and took the paste from the board and placed it on a little plate. Then with too much determination, she slowly cut the other onion.
'If I will wait for her to make food, probably one day would pass away.' Sheng Ruming sighed in his mind and stared at her face. Even now she would clench her eyes from time to time and rub them with the back of her palm.
Ding~
A notification came in Sheng Ruming's phone. He took the phone out from his pant's pocket and saw a message had come from Ethan.
[I have something important to talk about. Meet me on my floor.]
Sheng Ruming raised his brow when he saw this. If the man had something to talk about then it must be something serious. But he didn't want to go out and leave Luo Lixi even for a minute. He knew if he started to talk some serious business with others, he would lose track of time.
He clicked on the mobile screen and typed.
[Don't have time for it. Currently busy as I'm admiring my honey while she is cooking. Call me if this is something urgent.]

Ethan Han who was currently putting his shoes to go out, received a message. After he was done, he took back the phone from Sarah's hand.
When he saw the message, the edge of his lips twisted. He turned towards his wife who was sorting out the plates they had eaten from a few minutes ago. Then he returned his sight on the mobile and typed two words.
[Nothing serious. Let's talk later.]
Afterwards he began to put off his shoes. When Sarah saw this, she was confused.
"Daddy, why are you putting off your shoes?"
"I won't go out anymore. Let's go inside, baby." He lifted her from the ground and walked in.
"What? No going?" Yuexin asked him as she saw both of them coming towards her.
"Nope. Not going."
"Oh." Yuexin nodded. At last, she placed all the spoons and forks on top of the plates and walked into the kitchen.
Ethan Han put down the girl on the floor and walked inside the kitchen. He walked behind Yuexin and wrapped her in his embrace. The woman who was washing the dishes became stiff.
"Let's go out later, the three of us." He whispered in her ear. She nodded and regained the work she was doing. A crack broke out on her emotionless face as a little smile which was rare to see bloomer on her lips.
Ethan, who was watching her hands as those hands worked, didn't see it. If he had, he would have been shocked.

Luo Lixi finally made breakfast for them in the end. But the things she had cut earlier didn't come in handy. There were too many tasty food's names in her head yet she didn't know how to make even one of them.
So in the end, she made egg rolls, poached eggs and boiled egg. Sheng Ruming even praised her saying, "This boiled egg tastes very good. Must have been because you have boiled them."
When she heard him, she hid her face in embarrassment.
"Don't tease me!" Luo Lixi snapped at him and put a big piece of boiled egg in her mouth. As she bit down hard, she felt bitterness in her poor heart.
"I am telling the truth. Just look at this. This piece of art…" When she saw Sheng Ruming was going to say more nonsense as he held a piece of egg roll in his chopsticks, she took another boiled egg and stuffed it in his mouth.
"Don't say anymore! From tomorrow, I won't make any breakfast. You can have the honour to make for me." When Sheng Ruming heard, he slyly smiled but the man had his mouth widely opened while the egg was stuffed in it.
He threw the chopsticks and dragged her towards him.
"Ehhi, Ruming…" Luo Lixi was moved to sit on his thighs. Then he forced her lips open with his right hand and placed the egg in her mouth.
"The reward for working so hard for me. Eat. I shall feed you with my hand..." Sheng Ruming tapped on the white surface of the stuffed egg in her mouth.
Luo Lixi gave a wry smile and crushed down on the soft egg. As she forcefully chewed on the food in her mouth, she kept eye contact with him.
When he saw her full bulging cheeks, the way she was moving her face and the manner she was gulping down… he felt he was thirsty.
Thus Sheng Ruming gave her lips a last lick and kissed on her lips. She was feeling a lump on her throat
Luo Lixi finally finished eating it and took a glass of water. After she had gulped down until the last drop, she creased her face in displeasure.
"Now, you won't even let me have my food in peace?!"
