After the petite girl confirmed that she was the owner of it, Sheng Ruming turned towards her and spoke without considering anything.
"This trash had intended to harm my fianceé. My miserable honey has become traumatized because of it. It shall be locked in jail to atone for its crime!" Sheng Ruming shot the girl a frigid look and retorted without batting an eyelid.

"Ruming, it's not her fault. Let her go."
"I won't." Sheng Ruming told her in a resolute tone. He didn't have the plan to spare that animal either. "What if it had bitten you?..."
"I will explain to you everything. Let the girl go. Don't scare her anymore." Then Luo Lixi turned at the girl and advised, "Go to a pet hospital and take a full body checkup for it. That must have affected it or her, whatever it is."
The girl nodded. She didn't dare to untie the leash of her dog and took out her phone to call someone.
Luo Lixi tugged on his hand and mumbled, "Let's go now."
"Do you really plan to leave the matter?"
"I'm not like you. You want it to atone in jail?! Ridiculous…" She pulled him with her and soon they had stepped out of the playground.
Sheng Ruming saw she didn't show any unhappy emotions as if the incident didn't leave any effect on her. So he was relieved, also ashamed that he let his emotions go too far.
"Ruming, water…" Luo Lixi asked him about the thing she was concerned about. Her throat was feeling too thirsty to even speak.
"I… Lixi, I didn't find you back then and forgot where I had left the bottle. I will buy you another one." Sheng Ruming clenched his left hand when he lied. He didn't want her to know his distorted thoughts.
Luo Lixi rotated her head 360 degrees and patted her shoulder. Then she glanced at him and told him in a helpless voice, "Forget it. I am alright. Nothing happened. I want to buy an iced coffee. Where is the café you have spoken of?"
"We have to walk for ten minutes…"
"Okay. Therefore, let's finish the task we have come out for."
Then both of them began to stroll towards the direction Sheng Ruming referred. After seven minutes, they finally saw the café he had talked about.
When Luo Lixi stepped into the shop, she was pleasantly surprised at the variety of things the shop had. Also, there were many people.
So, when Sheng Ruming asked her something to select, she became conflicted for a moment. In the end, she ordered an iced coffee with lots of chocolate chips and cream.
After they had received the plastic mug, both of them walked out from the shop. While Luo Lixi kept sipping from the straw, Sheng Ruming kept his mug in his hand but didn't taste.
"Don't you prefer it? Why aren't you drinking?" Luo Lixi inquired as she sucked hard and drank a lot of cream from her mug. "It's good. Try it."
"Lixi, where is your shawl? I didn't ask you earlier as I had forgotten back then." He frowned when he saw red marks were peeping from underneath her shirt.
Luo Lixi gave him a wry smile. Then she wrapped her left hand around his right hand. So Sheng Ruming carried the plastic mug from his right hand to the left.
"Umm, Ruming." Luo Lixi narrowed her eyes for a second and then slowly uttered the things, "After you had left, somebody came. My eyes were closed. So I thought it was you… When I opened my eyes, I saw a man with messy hair and his face was quite creepy too." Sheng Ruming stopped and looked at her, startled.
"Did he do something to you?" Luo Lixi saw his bloodthirsty expression. She recklessly shook her head.
"No no! He didn't. He just wanted to give me something but I had become afraid and ran away. Then that dog also started to chase from some point. Eventually, I went to that tree and climbed up on the tree branch in time."
Luo Lixi didn't meet his gaze afterwards. How could she tell him that an unknown man had wanted to flirt with her? Even offered her a drug, telling her it's good stuff and she would like it. She was so scared at first when she had seen that man's countenance.
When she rejected and wanted to walk away, he pulled her hand back. So, she became angry and slapped him. The man then threw the white thing at her. She directly pulled her shawl to protect her face.

In fear, she dashed in the opposite direction. When it nearly caught her, she threw the shawl away but that dog jumped on that and tore it into pieces. Only then she had the time to climb the dangling stairs and reach the tree branch. Or else she would've also gotten torn like that piece of poor cloth.
Just thinking about that made her shiver. Sheng Ruming knew there were loopholes in what she had spoken. When he saw her looking down and didn't ask anything anymore.

When her mug became empty, she threw it in a recycle bin which was positioned beside the road.

"It's too sweet. I can't drink it."

"It's a drink which can't be famous without its sweetness."
Luo Lixi smiled. Then, she put a lot of cream on it and raised her hand before his lips. "Try this."
Sheng Ruming eyed the red thing in her hand and then peeked at her expectant eyes. He gulped down his saliva and then slowly opened his lips.
Luo Lixi smirked and stuffed the strawberry in his mouth. "Isn't it good?"
Sheng Ruming nodded and gulped down after chewing a little. 'Too sweet. It's unbearable! How can she tolerate this much sweetness!' Sheng Ruming thought as he had a glimpse of her carefree face. Then he gave the coffee mug to her.
"I don't feel like drinking this. Too much puffed cream. If you want, you can have it. Or I will throw it away." Sheng Ruming went ahead to throw it.
"Hey, wait."
Luo Lixi saw it was nearly untouched. She touched her belly and thought, 'I think… I still have space in my stomach. I can finish this.'

"Let's see what we have..."
Yan Ruomin connected her mobile to the laptop via a connector. Then she played the video from first to last without pausing. Her eyes had a twinkle of their own as she looked on.
"My luck is incredibly good today. I have even had the chance to take such a video of that Yanli bitch. Life is really good~"
Yan Ruomin took some screenshots of some scenes which came off very misleading. While her fingers were working on the laptop, her lips couldn't help but tug upwards in a victory smile.
"Just wait for misfortune to fall on you, Yanli. Your fate is good because I won't use these for now." Yan Ruomin scowled at the face of Ji Yanli. If she could, she would've very likely spat on the face of her. But then, only her laptop would get dirty. So she only mocked at the photo before her.
After she had carefully chosen some pictures, she downloaded an app and began to do photoshop.
"Hmm, should I blur his face?" Yan Ruomin thought as she glanced at Yan Luhan's expression on the screen. She felt unease in her heart then blew them after a few seconds.
At the sight of her little brother, her face cracked. It was clear as day that he was smitten with Ji Yanli.
'Even Luhan likes her. A mere secretary, tch! Something is wrong with people's taste now-a-days...' She thought while trying on the keyboard.
"I shall keep some photos without blurring his face. If any worst situation comes, I will show this to mother. Also, I can show it to Ruming too. He is such a good man. I am sure he won't covet the woman his friend likes." Yan Ruomin giggled, then covered her face with both of her hands and rolled on the bed a few times. Her craziness was acting up again...
Knock~ Knock~
When Yan Ruomin heard knocking sounds at her door, she quickly closed down her laptop. Then asked, "Who?"
"It's me, Minmin. Why haven't you slept yet?" Su Mengsi opened the door and walked in.
When she came to check if Yan Ruomin had slept or not, she saw lights from the crack of the door.
Yan Ruomin always sleeps in the dark. So she knew she was awake thus came in to check.
"Nothing, Ma. Just that my hair is wet. I don't want to catch a cold. So I haven't slept yet." She sat up and the next second went to place the things from the bed to the table except for her phone.
"It's midnight. Don't remain awake further. It's not good for your skin."
Yan Ruomin touched her cheeks and replied, "I know. Ma. Why haven't you gone to bed yet?" Yan Ruomin blinked her eyes when she softly asked.
Both of them sat on the bed as Yan Ruomin yawned. Su Mengsi seemed troubled as she glanced at the daughter of her.
"Nothing. You sleep, I will go away in a few minutes." Yan Ruming returned to being laid on the bed on her tummy.
Then Su Mengsi helped Yan Ruomin in the bed and put the bedsheet on top of her body carefully. When the old lady's sight fell on Yan Ruomin's toe, her eyes changed their colour. Then she walked towards the windows and tried to close them but Yan Ruomin forbade her.
So Su Mengsi walked towards the door and turned off all the lights.
"Sleep well."
"Goodnight~" Yan Ruomin spoke out sweetly.
"Hmm." Su Mengsi closed the door then walked away. Soon, she arrived before Yan Luhan's room and stared at the door, appearing deep in thoughts.
The surroundings were quiet except for the tick-tock sound of the large clock in the large living room of the first floor.
Soon, she moved away her sight from the door and walked back to her room. There she saw her deeply sleeping husband.
Afterwards, she strolled towards the swinging chair of the room and sat on it. Then, she spent the whole night while worrying about some matters which were bothering her a lot.
As the morning approached, Su Mengsi finally made up her mind and closed her eyes. The last thought of her was, 'As long as the woman abides by my rules, I will let him be with the one he likes...'
A deep sigh escaped her lips as Su Mengsi finally entered in a deep slumber.

The man then threw the white thing at her. She directly pulled her shawl to protect her face.The man cursed her and ran away when he caught a glimpse of something. When Luo Lixi felt something was wrong, she turned around and saw a dog coming in her direction at rapid speed.In fear,she dashed in the opposite direction. When it nearly caught her, she threw the shawl away but that dog jumped on that and tore it into pieces. Only then she had the time to climb the dangling stairs and reach the tree branch. Or else she would've also gotten torn like that piece of poor cloth.Just thinking about that made her shiver. Sheng Ruming knew there were loopholes in what she had spoken. When he saw her looking down and didn't ask anything anymore.'It's good as long as you don't run away.' He gulped down his saliva and then slowly opened his lips.Luo Lixi smirked and stuffed the strawberry in his mouth. "Isn't it good?"Sheng Ruming nodded and gulped down after chewing a little. 'Too sweet. It's unbearable! How can she tolerate this much sweetness!' Sheng Ruming thought as he had a glimpse of her carefree face. Then he gave the coffee mug to her."I don't feel like drinking this. Too much puffed cream. If you want, you can have it. Or I will throw it away." She sat up and the next second went to place the things from the bed to the table except for her phone."It's midnight. Don't remain awake further. Yan Ruomin blinked her eyes when she softly asked.Both of them sat on the bed as Yan Ruomin yawned. Su Mengsi seemed troubled as she glanced at the daughter of her."Nothing. You sleep, I will go away in a few minutes." Yan Ruming returned to being laid on the bed on her tummy.Then Su Mengsi helped Yan Ruomin in the bed and put the bedsheet on top of her body carefully. When the old lady's sight fell on Yan Ruomin's toe, her eyes changed their colour. Then she walked towards the windows and tried to close them but Yan Ruomin forbade her.So Su Mengsi walked towards the door and turned off all the lights."Sleep well.""Goodnight~" Yan Ruomin spoke out sweetly."Hmm." Su Mengsi closed the door then walked away. Soon, she arrived before Yan Luhan's room and stared at the door, appearing deep in thoughts.The surroundings were quiet except for the tick-tock sound of the large clock in the large living room of the first floor.Soon, she moved away her sight from the door and walked back to her room. There she saw her deeply sleeping husband.Afterwards, she strolled towards the swinging chair of the room and sat on it. Then, she spent the whole night while worrying about some matters which were bothering her a lot.As the morning approached,Su Mengsi finally made up her mind and closed her eyes.
