Yan Ruomin didn't see him coming as her back was facing the two men. Now, only a low stifling noise came from her lips while no tears came out from her eyes.
"Ruming." Feng Shaoling nodded his head slightly as a greeting. Sheng Ruming glanced at his face for a few seconds, then asked, "Is it also a coincidence for you to come here, at this place and time?!"
Feng Shaoling knew what he was talking about. Without changing his face, he answered, "I just came to check on you. My plan was to meet you in the company. Didn't think I would see you here."
Yan Ruomin stiffened and then turned around. She had an incredulous expression when she saw the two men. 'Why is he here?!' She tried to maintain her expression and greeted him, "Shaoling, it's great that you are also here." She put on her best smile as she lifted her head.
"Hmm. What are you doing here?" Feng Shaoling asked.
"I came here many days ago. Just that today, I met him by coincidence." Yan Ruomin gave a wry smile while saying.
"Oh, good." Feng Shaoling nodded his head. Then he turned towards Sheng Ruming and spoke out, "Let's talk in your company. It's not a proper place for this."
Sheng Ruming didn't say anything as he started to walk towards his company. Feng Shaoling quietly followed him. Yan Ruomin stood there for a second, 'He didn't ask me not to go with him. I will go as well…'
Yan Ruomin thought as she followed as well. Sheng Ruming knew the stubborn woman was coming as well but he didn't say anything. In less than three minutes, the three of them reached the company.
Then, before everyone's eyes, the three entered his office room. Luo Lixi was standing before the window with a glass of water. She was sipping the lukewarm water while looking outside.
By the sound of Sheng Ruming's footsteps, she knew it was him thus she didn't turn around at first. But when sounds of several footsteps followed as well, she hurriedly turned around.
Yan Ruomin examined the woman before her. Luo Lixi walked towards them. Sheng Ruming told them, "Sit there."
As pointed by him, Yan Ruomin went ahead but Feng Shaoling didn't as a delighted expression came on his face.
"Miss Li?" Luo Lixi stopped beside them as she blinked her eyes and then nodded. She stared at the man's face for a few seconds, then asked, "Doctor Feng?"
Luo Lixi didn't remember the guy all this time. But when she saw the man smiling and the cute dimple took shape on his cheek, she remembered.
'They know each other? How?!' Sheng Ruming glanced at them. When Luo Lixi saw the man came too close to her, she felt the piercing gaze of the other man. She coughed and backed away.
"Doctor Feng, please sit. I am CEO's secretary, ...Li Xixi." When Feng Shaoling heard that he showed an expression like he understood. Afterwards, he went to sit on the sofa.
Yan Ruomin stared at Luo Lixi the whole time. She wasn't really sure if the man she had seen yesterday was really Sheng Ruming or not. She didn't even get to see them in the morning as they came to the company too early.
Sheng Ruming called someone to bring refreshment for them. As Sheng Ruming sat down, Luo Lixi thought if she should stay in the room as well.
"Miss Li, why are you standing there? Come and join us…" As Feng Shaoling said, she turned at Sheng Ruming. When the man didn't deny her, she went and sat beside him.
Yan Ruomin's face hardened when Luo Lixi sat so naturally beside Sheng Ruming. Feng Shaoling didn't think of this as a matter and asked, "How is your hand now?"
Luo Lixi paused for a second. "It's alright now." She swiped her loose hair behind her ear while replying.
Yan Ruomin turned towards Feng Shaoling and asked, "Was she your patient?"
The man didn't want to disclose the matter. Thus he nodded his head only. Sheng Ruming turned his head at Luo Lixi and didn't say anything.
"How is your health now? Aunt asked me to check on you." Feng Shaoling asked but his whole attention was on Luo Lixi.
Yan Ruomin also chirped in, "I was also worried for you. How is it going? By the way, what health issues do you have?"
'What are they talking about?!' Luo Lixi turned her head and glanced at Sheng Ruming. The man had a stoic face when he heard that.
"I am alright. You two can rest assured." Feng Shaoling thought it's best as long as it's something in control.
"If you needed my help, just tell me."
Luo Lixi gazed at the three humans before her. She felt like she was out of the place. 'He has health issues? Why didn't he tell me before?' She was feeling uncomfortable when she knew it.
Soon, a young man came and placed various refreshments on the low table before them. Yan Ruomin saw Luo Lixi was lost in thoughts. She didn't like the fact that Luo Lixi could sit beside Sheng Ruming.
'Ji Yanli can, even this secretary can sit beside him. Why does he loath me then?!' Yan Ruomin disliked Luo Lixi for this matter. Even the fact that she wasn't moving even a bit made her a little bit angry.
"Secretary Li, how can you be distracted before your guests?! We have come a long time ago yet you didn't even serve us yet. What is this behaviour?" Yan Ruomin crossed her arms and showed blatantly that she was dissapointed by Luo Lixi's lack of ethics.
The two men who were in a discussion paused at once.
"Serve?" Luo Lixi asked as she stared at Yan Ruomin.
"Hmm. It's the job of every secretary. You should serve us tea or something like this…" Luo Lixi seemed to understand what Yan Ruomin meant but she didn't like the word 'serve' regarding this matter.
Sheng Ruming felt greatly offended by Yan Ruomin's tone. How could he allow his woman to serve another person? When Luo Lixi tried to get a teacup to give Yan Ruomin green tea, Sheng Ruming spoke out.
"No need. They aren't my guests."
Feng Shaoling nodded as well as. Luo Lixi paused with teacup in her hand while Yan Ruomin was shocked. "Also, you have hands Ruomin, you should take whatever you want. It's not your Yan Mansion or Sheng Villa where servants would serve you."
Luo Lixi glanced at the man who was busy spitting out those words. Yan Ruomin looked down below and said, "Ruming, you shouldn't have insulted me before outsiders." She eyed Luo Lixi while saying, "I have known you since childhood as well as our families are so close. How can you?!"
Luo Lixi spoke at this time as she felt the woman was exaggerating this matter, "Miss Yan, CEO Sheng didn't say it like that. Don't put it at heart."
Yan Ruomin gritted her teeth when she heard that. "Hmm." Afterwards, she became quiet.
Feng Shaoling discussed some random matters with Sheng Ruming. Yan Ruomin slowly lifted her head and asked Luo Lixi, "How many it has been since you became the Secretary?"

"Two days."
Yan Ruomin narrowed her eyes when she heard that. 'It's only been two days yet the man allowed her to sit beside him, on the same sofa?!' Yan Ruomin turned at Sheng Ruming. The man was unfuzzed by her gaze.
Just then Feng Shaoling had a call. He checked, it was from his friend. Thus, he stood up and said, "Well, I have to go now. Let's meet another time." Then he turned towards Luo Lixi, "Miss Li, if you have any problem, you can just give me a call. I guess you have my business card. Is that right?"
Luo Lixi smiled wryly while nodding. How could she say that she didn't even know where that card was?
Sheng Ruming gave her a side glance at which she turned her sight away.
Yan Ruomin also stood up while watching the exchange between the two people. Her heart was in turmoil.
'Then, it was that Ji bitch. Now it is this Li or something. How can my life be so difficult?!' Yan Ruomin thought in remorse as she followed Feng Shaoling to go outside.
