Luo Qintian stared at Sheng Ruming. He didn't like that this person whom he wanted to see the least would one day stand before him and argued back.
"I don't need anything." Sheng Ruming stared at the old man's eyes and said without lowering his voice, "Rather, if you need anything, I will give you. Just give her to me."
Luo Qintian saw the expression of Sheng Ruming which was suppressing the madness of his. "You are not young anymore. Don't say anything randomly. Stay the night here. Remember to return from where you have come tomorrow. Humph!"
'If you aren't the one who had saved my grandchild, I wouldn't have talked with you let alone staying in the same room for even a second.'
Luo Qintian turned around and went to the desk. He felt like he couldn't fall asleep as long as this man stay in the mansion.
Sheng Ruming opened his mouth and spoke out swiftly, "Elder, I want to marry her."
Luo Qintian's back paused when he heard that. He tightened his hold on his cane. Slowly he turned around and uttteted whike supressing his anger. "Say that again." He began to shake in fury.

Luo Lixi was coming towards the room with a tray. Her mood was a disturbed but she tried to shake off any thoughts related to the things that happened today.
There was a little medicine bowl in the tray. When she heard the noise and her grandfather's angry voice, she hurriedly entered.
"Grandfather!" Luo Lixi immediately walked towards the old man. She put down the tray on the desk and asked, "What's wrong? Why are you shouting?! Your health is not good. Please don't…"
Luo Lixi turned at Sheng Ruming and asked, "What happened? Why is grandfather angry?"

Sheng Ruming turned towards her and said, "I just told him I want to marry you."
Luo Lixi was startled, "You…" Sheng Ruming didn't buzz at her penetrating gaze. He slowly walked before Luo Qintian and said again, "I want to marry her. Please consider this. We both like each other. Also, I have every single qualification that needs to become her husband."

Luo Qintian lifted his eyes and looked into the young man's eyes, "How daring!" He didn't try to be polite anymore.

Then he lifted his head and said, "I love her. I won't leave her here. I know you will have difficulty accepting this but please…"
Luo Qintian just looked at Sheng Ruming for once. Then he turned at Luo Lixi and asked, "Do you have something to say?"
"Me, I… Grandfather, I…" Luo Lixi stuttered but didn't find the correct word to say. She was beyond nervous as the two men stared at her intensely.
"Look. She doesn't even have anything to say in this matter. You shall return to Ming city tomorrow."
"What?! No!" She blurted out subconsciously.
Luo Qintian gazed down at her and asked, "Do you want him to stay here then?"
Luo Lixi nodded without hesitation. Sheng Ruming felt his heart was melting.
"Grandfather, let him stay here for a few days."
"Alright. He could stay at least for 2 days." Luo Qintian said and wanted to dismiss the discussion but Sheng Ruming hurriedly spoke out.
"Lixi, I have already kneeled down before him to ask for your hand." Sheng Ruming turned at her and talked in a grave tone, "If he doesn't agree, I will have to go back after two days. So staying for one or two days is the same matter."
"Kneel all you want. Why drag my granddaughter below with you?! Xixi, come here."
