His voice got stuck in his throat when two familiar yet not so familiar faces appeared before him. Madam Wang and Luo Tiankong turned around when they heard him.
Madam Wang knitted her brows when the man's face appeared before her while Luo Tiankong was clueless.
Sheng Ruming glanced at Luo Lixi who was seated on the bed, signaling him to go away. His lips twisted as he saw the woman was too worked up.
"Ah?! Wrong room, I guess… " He closed the room and turned around to go to the waiting area of the hospital. As he sat down on a random seat, his mind couldn't remain still as Luo Lixi's thought clouded his mind...
"...so, where I was? Yes. Now that you are unwell, you should take good care of yourself. Aunt has said in the past that don't put pressure. You are so young and have yet to see the world. Your old man has started to already make you a dry fish!"

She glanced back at the VVIP room and spat in remorse, "She is lucky that she is still alive. This poison is a thing that can cause a person to die without noticing anything."
Luo Tiankong remembered that he had some matters to attend to. Thus after he told her, he took his leave. Madam Wang stood in her place and glanced around in frustration. After waiting for a long time, she took a cab and left.
'The very smell of medicine can even make a living person a zombie…' Luo Lixi thought as she took out a lemon freshener and sprayed it on the air before her. Then she took large breathes as if to purify her lungs.
"Just look at you. People will think you are trying to munch on air…"
Sheng Ruming pushed the door and entered. After he came in, he locked the door behind him. Luo Lixi didn't turn towards him. She was busy spraying freshener in the air.
Sheng Ruming chuckled as he went ahead and snatched the thing from her hand. "Ruming! Give me back the freshener or I will feel more sick. It's too uncomfortable…"
Sheng Ruming smirked and didn't let her take it. His nose tickled and he couldn't restrain himself from sneezing. "Ahhh, Accho!"
The man didn't let her have the thing. "I am scared that your lungs will block because of too much of it…"
Luo Lixi flooded her arms before her chests and stared at him angrily. Her nose twisted because of the smell of medicines and room cleaner.
Hastily, She put on the oxygen mask and turned her head away, refusing to look at him. The man just smirked and put the freshener on the table stand. Then he stood before her bed.
"You can leave this place tomorrow. Just bear with a little more…" The man tried to touch her face but she slapped his hand away.
"Are you throwing a tantrum now?! You are a big woman…"
"I know!" She slipped down and lied down on the bed. When Sheng Ruming went to help her cover, she dragged the side of the blanket away from his hand.
"I can cover myself." The thing was placed until not even a stand of her body part could be seen. As Luo Lixi was staring at the blanket in darkness, she felt the bed caved in.
As she gripped the blanket tightly, Sheng Ruming's voice came from outside of her darkness.
"I am thinking of announcing that we are married. We should tell your grandfather first…."
Luo Lixi paused in her poster. As she slowly removed the blanket from her face, a face greeted her.
Sheng Ruming went down and left a soft kiss on her lips. Luo Lixi was stunned as she felt like a piece of feature just brushed past her lips. Her face blushed and hurriedly her face hid under the blanket.
"Do whatever you want… why ask me?" Sheng Ruming stopped smiling and dragged the blanket aside. His tone was grave as he stared at her face and asked, "You don't have any objections? Your old man, he…"
At his frowning face, Luo Lixi put her two hands around his neck and dragged him down. As both of their faces were very close, their hot breaths tickled their skin.
"It's better to announce than to bear several useless dates with unknown guys. Moreover, ain't I your wife? Will it be considered cheating if I go on a date?" Luo Lixi blinked and muttered. The man saw her face and felt like pinching her cheeks.
"You can date whoever you want. Just remember to turn my woman at night and be my wife for this lifetime." Sheng Ruming removed her mask and kissed her lips.

Then, the man changed his face as a sinister expression flashed in his dark orbs. He nuzzled against her nose and whispered, "Just that you know… every year many people die because of many accidents. We can't guarantee for how many days your dates will live."
Luo Lixi pressed her lips against each other and silently watched as the man was hiding threats under his sweet words and talking with such a gloomy face. She tsked in her mind space and suddenly dragged him down.
Her soft pink lips crushed against his lips. Sheng Ruming put his hands away from her and closed his eyes to kiss her back. As he was kissed by the woman, his hands were raised, not wanting to put weight on her or placing them somewhere he shouldn't.
After several minutes of kissing and smooching, both of them stopped and stared at each other's cloudy eyes.
Sheng Ruming rubbed her swollen lips and whispered as he saw her out of breath, "Do you need the oxygen mask?"
Luo Lixi felt like biting off his lips when he asked. She muttered in distress, "You! You nea… nearly suffocated meh!"
Sheng Ruming wanted to straighten his back to sit up but she didn't let him. The man raised his eyes and asked evilly, "Want to continue? Or you want more than a kiss?" He trailed her neck and began to go further down.
Inwardly, Luo Lixi rolled her eyes at his peacock-like expression. 'If I say yes, will he dare to do this in the room, in this place?!'
As she was debating whether she should nod her head or shook, Sheng Ruming glanced at her pale neck from the corner of his eyes.
The man asked nonchalantly, "Do you feel heavy in your chest or painful in your throats?"
"Ah?! Ah! No. It's okay now?!" Her voice sounded strange as she was forced out from her thoughts.

Luo Lixi saw as he turned around swiftly and walked up to her bed in large steps. The next second, he started to remove his shoes.
"Hey hey! It's a hospital! Why in the world are you…" Her words faded as she was blessed by him the next second.
Sheng Ruming impatiently removed his jacket and threw it on the stool. Then he unbuttoned his shirt and dropped it on top of the stool too.
'Ah, ah! What is he doing?!' Luo Lixi turned her blushed face and took the glass of water from the table stand. Before his heated gaze, she finished the glass and was at a loss.

Sheng Ruming jumped on the bed and the whole bedding shook because of his abrupt action. Luo Lixi put the glass in its place and complained, "Because of you, I nearly lost my grip… ekk!"
Her whole body was lifted and placed before him. Sheng Ruming hugged her from the front and placed her two legs beside his two sides.
To steady herself, the flustered girl hugged him back.
"Before doing something, at least say something."
The corners of his lips tugged upwards as he nodded, "I will try…"
