Chapter 227: 227 Whoever Wants, Should Come.

Aunt Zhu glanced at the old man who had finally calmed down his nerves. She covered the man and asked worriedly, "Old master, you should stop worrying about the girl. Your health is only deteriorating by thinking too much…"
Luo Qintian sighed and murmured, "It seems like I can't hold on for long." The man turned to the clock on the door and murmured, "What about his whereabouts?"
"We don't know yet. Lixiang didn't withdraw money from his account." She felt sad when she mentioned him. As her eyes met Luo Qintian's, she said in remorse and regret, "Such a bright child. Just what went wrong?"
The old man closed his eyes. His old wrinkled hands clutched the blanket as he whispered, "It is his fate. After all, the priest has said he will bring down our family. In the end, it came true." As his eyelids opened, there was faint hatred and anger for his grandson.
Aunt Zhu could only sigh as her eyes gazed outside through the glass windows. An unknown thing was gnawing her heart as a vague fear began to eat her.
When her restless mind turned to the man, only his widely opened eyes greeted him. As the sight, a stifled chuckle left.
In the deadly quiet room, the little noise sounded very glaring. When Luo Qintian heard her, he pressed his lips and finally went to sleep.

Under the blanket, a silhouette moved slightly.
Luo Lixi frowned as she tried to move but a firm grip didn't let her. As her mind wanted to move her body the grip appeared like a shackle around her whole body.
"Uh…" The black watery eyes finally revealed themselves. 'Ah, who is this damn person?!' Finally, her eyes gained their focus. But then she paused thinking when Sheng Ruming's sleeping face was presented in front of her eyes.
'Too close…' Blinking several times, she raised her hand but then the blanket slipped down. 'Ah, too cold!'
The window of the room was open. Thus natural wind entered and her skin got goosebumps from it.
Sheng Ruming woke up from his sleep the moment she moved. So his skin also detected the change in her because they were hugging each other.
When the pair of eyes saw each other, they stopped and continued to stare.
"Good morning." After some minutes, Sheng Ruming parted his lips and smiled. Luo Lixi however didn't wish him back and put her arms around his neck. Then she placed her head on top of his cheek and closed her eyes.
The man glanced at the clock on the wall. His eyes narrowed into slits. Sheng Ruming tightened his grip and turned their body around.

Both of their breaths stopped as they saw each other's nearly naked bodies. Luo Lixi felt cold air on her chest. When she realized she covered herself and glanced at him, accusing himself to stare at her so blatantly.
"You are so beautiful… I can't help but stare at you." Sheng Ruming smirked and stepped towards the bed. As he bent down, Luo Lixi however let the blanket go down and stood up. Then she covered her chest and ran to the washroom.
"Don't follow me. Also, give me a set of dresses." She half-closed the door and shouted from the washroom.

As her eyes fell there, she realized that it was a box of sanitary pads. Her eyes softened because of his consideration towards her.
"Hand me…" Luo Lixi put one hand outside.
However, Sheng Ruming's smirk only deepened. He crossed his hands and told her, the man's face was exuding an evil aura.
She felt a bad feeling when she saw that. "Ruming…"
"Come here." The man shamelessly pointed one finger towards her and motioned her to come to him.
Luo Lixi's eyes narrowed. Her face showed disbelief and obvious embarrassment. She stomped her legs against the cold floor and glared at his face.
"I… I can't come. Give me." She tightened her grip on the door and snarled at the man.
Sheng Ruming however sat down on the bed and folded his legs. Then he patted the clothes and said, "Whoever wants, should come and take it."
As his head intensely looked towards her, one corner of his lips lifted upwards, "I am too lazy to move. You should get here or else..."
